a/n! there's no one cute in my classes this year :( how will anyone I want rizz me up? (I literally always talk about soobin or beomgyu or jungwon like they're my bf so I think people think I'm actually dating them)

beomgyu likes to think that he's good at hiding his feelings for you but everyone can see how enamored he is by you. everyone can tell, his friends, teachers, and even the barista at the cafe you two frequent can tell how much he loves you.

his friends know because he could be screaming so loud that his voice would be hoarse the next day but as soon as you come into the room he always, without fail, rushes up to you and quietly asks you how your feeling while giving your forehead a quick kiss before running back to his friends and if you ever aren't feeling the best he will immediately say bye to his friends and take you home or somewhere secluded to talk about it and comfort you

his teachers know because anytime you come into the room to drop something off or get something from their classroom, beomgyu will suddenly sit up straight and be staring at you with lovestruck eyes with a soft smile waiting for you to look at him, and when you do- he smiles like he didn't almost just fail his test like he's so content and at peace with his life and gives a small happy wave or makes a face to see you smile. his teachers can also tell because whenever someone mentions your name he's joining their conversation or when someone brings up something you like they can hear him say "oh, yn loves that!"

the barista can tell because of how intently he listens to you talk while he makes sure your drink doesn't spill or when you drop something and go down to pick it up he immediately covers the corner of the table or how he always says "yn" when asked for his name (he loves hearing your name) and his bright smile whenever they call out "___ for y/n!" or how he always lets you eat the first bite

heeseung is popular because, like yeonjun in my txt version of this (find it here), he's the ace of enhypen, so he's the "ace" of school...? he's really good at basically everything, knows how to stay out of trouble and he's loved for his confidence, good looks and talent. so of course, you fall for him too despite assuming your chances are non-existent.

surprisingly, no one finds out about heeseung's crush on you until after you two get together, so you are positively in the dark about his feelings. except, you've noticed he keeps looking at you during class and you're starting to worry that you've upset him or done something bad to him and now you're worried you're gonna get beat up or something. so when he does come up to you one day, quiet and shy as he hands you a note before pecking your cheek and running off, you are not expecting any of it. his letter is straight to the point - he likes you and wants to date you. of course, you say yes, and you two become a golden couple.

you two, as i said, are the golden couple of your school - everyone knows you and heeseung are together and everyone knows not to mess with you because jay and sunghoon will beat them up. (you don't like it when heeseung fights and he respects that <3).

you laugh softly as you watch jay and sunghoon arm wrestle. you were their stand-in judge because heeseung was busy with one of his many clubs during this lunch break. you had been too hungry to be willing to sit in a random classroom and wait for him to finish up, so you had told him you'd be in the cafeteria. you weren't. instead, you were on the basketball court as jay and sunghoon had spotted you and had kidnapped you into their schemes. you liked the two of them, as they protected you from any troubles that may come to you. you judge them for four more rounds, calling sunghoon out for cheating during the second round, before you feel arms around you from behind and you smell the familiar scent of your boyfriend. "hey baby." he mutters in your hair before letting go and sitting next to you, greeting his friends too. the two greet him before getting into a playfully heated debate. heeseung turns to you and you immediately feel bad at the frown on his face. "seung? what's wrong?" "you said you'd be in the cafeteria." he says, frown deepening and you pout too before gently pecking his cheek. "i got kidnapped by dumb and dumber here." you say, loud enough that jay and sunghoon will hear you and when they both protest, you laugh again. heeseung seems to brighten up at the sound and he apologises for being sad. "don't apologise. you had every right to be upset." he smiles and nods his head, a sign of him dismissing the topic, before kissing you again. the kiss lasts long enough that jay and sunghoon both yell at you two to stop, one of them even going so far as to fake gag. you pull away from the kiss and laugh again, not noticing the way heeseung stares at you with starry eyes.

♡PARK JONGSEONG:

popular jock who aces all his classes and no one can figure out why. he's one of the most crushed on members of the football team (whichever way you wanna take that sport name, you can), and he knows it, but he doesn't really date, preferring to spend time with his mates. you think he's attractive, of course, but you actually find yourself liking him because of his smartness.

there's a small murmur of jay crushing on someone (for the first time!) and no one knows who it is but oh boy, do they wanna know. and you can't deny, you are kinda intrigued too. who caught jay's eye? when someone spreads the rumour that it's you, you laugh and brush it off, not assuming it to be true. so when jay comes up to you just before class and asks to speak afterwards, you get really nervous. were the rumours true or something? did jay really like you, of all people? so when you do talk to him after class and he confirms that, yes, he likes you, and yes, he wants to be your boyfriend, you're stunned, to be honest. but of course, you like him too, so you say yes and he kisses you on the cheek before trying (and failing, bless him) to hide his giddiness and his blush.

you and jay are the stunningly smart couple. you're both gorgeous, you're both smart - it's a match made in heaven. plus, you seem to know how to help jay with his emotions and you help him to perform better in matches due to your never-ending stream of support and love.

you sigh, looking away from the maths homework in front of you to stare at jay, admiring the way he looks as he focuses on his history homework. he's focused, jaw clenched and eyes unwavering as he reads over the text before answering the questions that professor lim had laid out for him to do. you push your work away from you before laying your arms atop the table and resting your head on them, staring at jay until you feel your eyes slip close. jay looks up at the silence from your end and startles lightly when he sees you resting on the table, eyes closed. you two had agreed to have a study date during your free period at school, but now here you were, snoozing on the table instead of working. jay admires you for a little bit before getting back to his history work. the quicker he finishes it, the quicker he can admire you and your peaceful face before he has to wake you up for your next class. he only has two questions left so he speeds through them, writing the answers quickly, before turning to look at you again. you've moved slightly in your sleep, smushing your cheek further and mussing up your hair. jay takes his phone out, taking a quick photo of how cute you look and setting it as his newest lock screen, before checking the time. it's only seven more minutes until your free period is over, so he grabs your maths homework and finishes it up for you before packing up his things and waking you up. "jay?" "cmon, angel, it's time for english class." he says quietly and you groan before reluctantly packing up your things. you make a note of the finished questions on your maths homework and when you and jay leave the library, you kiss his cheek and thank him. "anything for you. now let's walk slowly. don't wanna leave you." and how could you say no to jay when he's being as cute as that?

♡SIM JAEYUN:

golden retriever puppy boy who everyone loves because he's so sweet and helpful. like he's definitely not as popular as some of the other members, but he's still really popular for being cute and so kind. he helps everyone, no matter what. apart from bullies because he hates them and he will fight any and all of them. which is why you started crushing on him because he dealt with your bullies for ya <3.

jake actually becomes a good friend of yours after getting rid of your bullies and you find yourself falling for him more and more as time goes on. so when rumours go round that he's crushing on a girl in the year above, you don't know what to do. you knew it was foolish to fall for jake, yet here you are. so when jake comes up to you, a small dog plushie in his hands, and asks you to be his via the puppy plush, you're shocked. of course, you say yes, but you ask him about the rumours too. he clarifies them as false and you two go on a date that weekend before becoming an official couple.

you two are just a really cute, clingy couple. even if you aren't the affectionate type, jake is, and that makes him so clingy and everyone is used to seeing jake latched to you as you do work lol. but everyone does admire you two for the cute displays of love and adoration.

you smile as you watch jake play fight with heeseung, the two of them playfully brawling on the floor of the empty music classroom you were in. you hear a camera click next to you and you turn to find jay smirking at you, phone aimed at your face. you lunge for him, wanting to delete the picture, knowing that it'd be used as blackmail and before you know it, you and jay are embroiled in a play fight, his phone long forgotten. you can hear jake giggling in the background and get momentarily distracted by the beautiful sound, which leads to jay accidentally hitting you in the face. of course, this silences everyone and jake rushes to you, helping you up and checking you over. you're fine, but you can't lie, jay knows how to pack a punch and your jaw is definitely gonna ache for the next couple of days. still, you laugh and brush off jake's concerns. "i'm fine, puppy." you say, with a genuine smile, and jake finally settles down, pulling you onto his lap as he sits on the chair you were previously on. jay has gotten up and grabbed his phone and he occasionally apologises to you, but you keep brushing it off, promising him that its fine and it was an accident. and you mean that genuinely. a simple conversation starts up between sunoo, jungwon and niki, and you forget all about the picture and the fight until jay calls jake's name and shows him his phone screen - and the picture of you starring at him with what is basically heart eyes. jake giggles behind you and kisses your jaw before turning to jay. "send me that." "no!" you protest but it falls on deaf ears. jay has already sent it. oh well. it made jake happy, so you don't mind too much.

♡PARK SUNGHOON:

pretty popular boy who is known for his gorgeous looks, ice skating skills and snarky personality. like everyone has crushed on him at least once and no one has succeeded at dating him. everyone wants to be the one to date him first, ya know? and of course, you are no stranger to crushing on him and you would like to be his first partner too.

ngl i love when people include wonyoung in sunghoon fics as a potential "rival" but she's actually just a raging lesbian so uh- plot here :D. of course, you've heard the rumours surrounding wonyoung and sunghoon dating and, although your crush hasn't faded, you've given up the last scrap of hope you had towards ever having a chance with the ice prince. so when wonyoung comes over to you one day and starts talking to you, you're confused. you two slowly become friends and one day she slips up and accidentally says that she can understand why sunghoon likes you, which leads to a whole thing where you eventually ask sunghoon himself if its true. he says yes and clarifies that wonyoung and him aren't dating and he'd love to be your boyfriend. you say yes, of course, and you two go on a date that night, which ends with a first kiss!

you two are the couple everyone is envious of because HELLO? you two are fucking stunning and everyone is super jealous of you for snatching up sunghoon. sometimes you don't believe you actually pulled him, and bullies deffo latch onto that, but sunghoon always affirms you.

even though the air is icy cold, your hand is warm as it remains laced with sunghoon's. your date has just ended and now sunghoon is slowly walking you home. the two of you are sharing funny stories about your mutual friends, wonyoung and sunoo, and you don't even mind the late hour or the wintery air because sunghoon is just such an amazing person to be around that you don't care. you frown as you turn onto your street and you stop, pulling your hand from sunghoon's and "fixing your laces", anything to add even just a few more seconds on to your time together. you don't want this night to end, knowing that you won't get to see him for the next two days, as it's currently friday and he'll be busy with ice skating all weekend. you smile up at sunghoon and relace your hands before slowly starting the walk up to your house. when you stand in front of your door, you let sunghoon see your frown this time. "what's wrong?" he asks, bringing his spare hand up to brush away some hair from your face. "don't want this to end." you murmur shyly, avoiding eye contact with him and sunghoon laughs breathily before tilting your chin up. the moment is so impossibly, stereotypically romantic and you are living for it. "i'll call you when i get home, yeah?" he asks and you nod, a smile finally creeping its way onto your face. he smiles too before leaning closer. "can i kiss you?" you nod, not trusting your voice, and he leans in, softly kissing you for a few seconds before pulling away. "go get warm, okay?" he says and you nod again, pecking his cheek before reluctantly pulling away and entering your house. you slump against your door with a smile. sunghoon is absolutely wonderful.

♡KIM SEONWOO:

sunoo is popular because he's pretty and he's snarky. that's as simple as it is. everyone loves him and no one can resist his charms, but he doesn't actually really like most people. he tends to stick to enhypen - and you! he really likes you, and you really like him...as more than a friend. yeah...whoops.

you try and hide your crush from sunoo, knowing he deals with enough people crushing on him but what you're not expecting is for sunoo to slump at your lunch table with a dreamy look on his face as he sighs "im in love". you know he's probably just being dramatic, but does he actually have a crush on someone? it hurts to think about this potential crush he has because you know there's a very slim chance it's you. well, you find out who his crush is not even 2 hours later because you accidentally stumbled upon the rest of enha teasing sunoo about liking you and you got caught by niki. of course, you confess you like him too and you two start dating right then and there. cute.

you two are just the adorable yet snarky couple. you're both snarky but you also have such cute faces and the way you interact with each other has everyone, even teachers, cooing and awwing over the love you two share. genuinely, you two are known for being lovey. loveyloveylovey doveydoveydovey

the sun is shining brightly above you as you lay on your back. you're on the field, enjoying the days when it gets opened up to students during the sunny days, and you're waiting for sunoo to finish up with his lesson that overran. you can hear his other friends playing a dumb game behind you but you don't care to shift your head and look. you briefly close your eyes, the shape of the sun flitting behind you eyelids, before you feel a weight settle on your lap. you open your eyes to see sunoo sitting there, smiling down at you with a soft blush on his pretty chubby cheeks. you giggle and lift your hands up, making grabby hands at him. he laces your hands together and he giggles, playfully moving them back and forth. you both remain blissfully unaware of the world around you two. sunoo pouts mindlessly at one point and you immediately pick up on it. "sun? everything okay? you pouted." he blushes before muttering out a small "i want a kiss". you laugh and unlace your hands from his before pulling him down into a kiss. you can briefly hear the thwip from where his hands fly past your ears to land on the ground and you two kiss for a little while, before pulling away with a giggle. sunoo doesn't move though, pecking your lips over and over, loving the way it makes you giggle. eventually he stops kissing you and lays on top of you, burying his face in your neck and recounting his lessons without you. its peaceful and quiet until niki, and all his mischievous glory, comes along to ruin it. "oi oi, get it sunoo!" you tilt your head backwards and glare at him but he just laughs and goes back to playing with the other boys. you focus back on sunoo, kissing his temple and mumbling for him to ignore niki. you get no response and you quickly realise sunoo has fallen asleep on you. you smile and leave him be.

♡YANG JUNGWON:

jungwon is definitely the student council president/head of year! he's really friendly and kind and no one has any issues with him because he's fair and straight forward and he'll genuinely help people with stuff if it means they can avoid getting in trouble. of course, with such a kind soul, you were bound to fall for him.

you get picked to help jungwon with his student council president duties and you're a bit confused at first because why is jungwon picking you? but then you start to hear rumours of jungwon liking you, someone even going so far as to say they saw him writing his initials and yours together inside a heart. so eventually, when your week of working together ends, you decide to ask him about the rumours and he shyly confesses that they are true - he really likes you (and yes he drew the initial heart). you say you like him too and ask him out on a date this weekend to which he says yes. you kiss his cheek before running off, both of you now super shy.

you and jungwon are the cute and shy couple, always spotted looking at each other before turning away with a blush when the other catches them. its honestly not uncommon to find you two doing your own things whilst holding hands or sharing earphones or something like that.

you can tell jungwon is looking at you but you refuse to look up, keeping your eyes on your phone. its cute the way jungwon just stares at you sometimes, because you know he gets shy whenever you stare at him. you watch as jungwon looks away and you can just make out the blush on his cheeks, barely stifling the giggle that threatens to leave your lips. when jungwon looks at you again, you look up, making direct eye contact. he squeaks and falls off his chair, startling you, and you immediately get up to rush to his side. "jungwon, are you okay? i'm sorry, i didn't mean to startle you." he brushes your concern away and stands up, smiling sheepishly at you. "it's okay." he says and you giggle at the confirmation before launching into your teasing. he whines and goes to run away from you but you capture his arm before he can and keep him in place. you back hug him, kissing wherever you can reach, before snuggling up against him. he flushes again, you can feel the heat from his body, but he doesn't say anything, letting you back hug him in this random empty classroom you found yourselves in. you think you could live in this moment forever, your wonderful boyfriend trapped in your arms, but alas, you cannot, as the door slams open and the familiar voice of sunoo is heard. "look at the lovers, hiding away to be all cute!" you huff and let go of jungwon, turning to the door, ready to snark sunoo, only to see all of jungwon's friends there. you previous confidence about snarking sunoo fails and you let out a tiny 'eep!' before hiding behind jungwon. he just laughs before talking to his friends. "come in and shut the door. i don't want anymore interruptions." you giggle softly at that before finally coming out from hiding. jungwon is just too cute.

♡NISHIMURA RIKI:

the class clown, of course, that somehow avoids trouble, of course. he's friends with sunoo and jungwon, that's how he gets away with it lol. but he's really funny and no one can deny that his humour is great - everyone, including teachers, have laughed at least once. which is why you fall for him! cute AND funny? winning combo!

its so hard to get any scrap of feeling that isnt happy or funny from niki so his crush on you stays locked up tight. unless, of course, you're the rest of enhypen, who quickly figure out from his rapid glances in your direction, that niki likes you. all of them band together to convince niki to confess to you and he tries to but he's just so scared. so when you go up to him and confess that you like him and want to date him, he kind of breaks and runs away. you have to be comforted by jungwon until niki comes back and says yes to being yours. a bit of a messy start, but you two get there aha.

you two are a funny pair - literally! niki is always getting you and himself in trouble, and you, somehow, always manage to bail you both out. but to be honest, the entire school loves you two together and thinks it would be depressing if you two broke up - they don't even remember what is was like before you and niki got together!

you swallow the bite of food in your mouth before answering jungwon's question about where niki is... for the fourth time. "he's in detention, jungwon." jungwon is still looking at you with disbelief. the rest of enhypen slowly make their way over to the table you're sat at and when, at last, jake joins the group, jungwon asks again. "detention, jungwon, niki is in detention!" you snap. you love jungwon, but he dogged persistence on getting you to answer the same question a billionaire times over was driving you up the wall. "niki is in detention? for what?" sunghoon says, patting jay's back after the older boy had choked on his drink at hearing your exclamation. "for putting glue in my hair. he deserved it. i spend the last twenty minutes of art class fighting to get it out." you pout. "i get it was just one of his pranks, but it wasn't funny." you say, not noticing the figure behind you. "i'm sorry, (name)." you jolt, smashing your knee off the underside of the table and curling in on yourself in pain. niki sits down next to you and comforts you, trying his best not to upset your further. when you do finally calm down, you scoot away from him. "(name), come here." niki drags out the sound and you shake your head. "please. i'll make it up to you." the idea of getting something from niki's guilt makes you excited and you turn to him with a frown. "ice cream. and your blue band hoodie. and, and we're watching rwby on our next date." he nods and you shuffle closer. niki searches through his bag before finding the hoodie and handing it to you, staring at you with adoring eyes when you light up and shrug it on over your outfit/uniform (remember kids, put the blazer over the top of the hoodie!). heeseung fake coughs to his right before muttering a small "whipped", which niki very pointedly ignores.
