Something that makes payneland so sweet and special to me is that they almost feel like a childhood romance.

Like, I think George mentioned this in an interview or something, about your first love being your best friends as a child, who is often of the same sex.

And I think at least to me, that's what payneland feels like? Like, when we were kids, we make everything so big and so extreme, because that's all we know. Little kids with crushes say they're gonna get married and live together in a castle and get their happily ever after even though the truth is give it a few years and they might not even remember each other's name.

Panyeland feels like an older, more mature version of that. Like, Charles met Edwin for how many minutes and decided that he's gonna follow this guy for potentially the rest of eternity. Isn't that like little kids declaring they're best friends forever after playing together for one day in the playground?

Payneland feels pure in that way. Innocent. But true nonetheless. And that's just something so sweet.
