Totally ridiculous headcanon based on Will in the letterman jacket:

Will is actually on a school sports team in Lenora??

When we first saw the black and white photo a lot of people thought it was Lucas's jacket but not that we've seen it in color, we know that's not true.

Hawkins colors are green and gold. Will's jacket is navy, red, and light yellow.

So I rewatched the scenes at the school in Lenora and:

No, it's not a perfect match, I didn't see any of the navy blue BUT the red and yellow match, which I found interesting.

Other things to consider: Will was bullied a lot as a kid, and you'd think that Will would be bullied along with El as the new kid with the sister who is already badly bullied. But he isn't. He isn't shown to have friends, but the girl in class had a crush on him. Did he get away from being unpopular and bullied by being on a sports team?
