why do i want to be both stanley and narrator in the stanley parable, but in different ways??

with stanley, i want to be a snarky little shit who almost never follows instructions but still likes going along with what people say

and with narrator, i want to be kinda carefree and happy (like how he was so excited about the adventure line) but also be desperate for someone to listen or just be with me (like the time-skip button ending or the glitch out of stanley ending) because you can hear the desperation in his voice of just wanting to be heard and to not be alone again

i step outside my house

the local farmer is standing near my rubbish bin

they come up to me and give me my favourite item

i go to the other side of my house

i start throwing my ball around

i hear a rustling noise from my bin

the farmer runs off with something in their hands
