when i say Rocketman was better than Bohemian Rhapsody, it’s not an attack on the actors. i’m talking about the plot, the way the story was told, how they portrayed sexuality and (platonic) love. 

of course there was a major difference: freddie wasn’t here to help with the movie. elton was. elton said how he wanted certain things, how he wanted certain themes and scenes in the movie, while brian and roger had to decide for both freddie and john. 

the actors are phenomenal in both movies, and that’s not what it’s about. it’s about the fact that elton and freddie were both gay, and still, in Rocketman we see so much more of that. 

Rocketman means so much to so many of us because we finally have the representation we didn’t see in Bohemian Rhapsody. so please don’t bash us for speaking our minds and saying how we feel about it.
