there are so many reasons why ecumenopoli like Coruscant are horrible ideas, and these are all among them. let me also point out the biggest problem, which is WASTE HEAT REGULATION. on a NORMAL habitable planet, temperature is regulated by the oceans, atmosphere, and in some cases biosphere, all working together. Coruscant, as far as I know, has no major seas, and the only plant life is specifically curated parks. no sea breezes and no shade-generating forests, to say the least. more importantly, the buildings and dense air traffic would wreck the convection cells, which means there are no climate patterns! it can’t fucking rain on Coruscant! the place would just heat up and heat up until it cooked everyone on the planet! do not hyper-urbanize your worlds, people!!
