I like to think that Toriel’s lil friend group consists of those who could actually meet her in the Ruins. Don’t get me wrong, the main cast is in there too!! I just like to imagine the Ruins gang hanging out to. Cause I need to spread my Nabstablook and Toriel friendship propaganda lol.

Muffet and Toriel didn’t actually meet face to face until waaaaaay after getting to the surface. But anyone who gives that much money to the Spider Bakesale is worth being friendly with in her book

Toriel Week 2022 - Day 1: War

"Mom was really scary during the war?"

Happy Toriel week! I ended up burning out after the sketch so I put together something that wasn't just black and white lol. I'd like to think her prowess on the battlefield made her one of the most feared monsters in the entire war with her fire magic - I also imagine Grillby as being old enough to at least be alive during the war too! I’m enjoying seeing all of the Toriel love, much love Square ❤️

Toriel had to kill during the war…but seeing so many young humans risking their lives made her feel ill. So, after the war, she vowed to never kill another, human or monster, ever again….

(I personally HC that Toriel didn’t fight in the war and was a young princess who’s parents died before being forced to live underground, but that’s just me. )

Toriel Week Day 4 - Heartache

Ok so. As doodle Square says, this drawing is INTENSE. I’m not sure what possessed me last night to draw this. But. Here we are. If you don’t want to see Toriel trying to resuscitate/save Chara with healing magic, don’t click. I’m putting this under a cut too, so you can just scroll past. Thank you.

I think Toriel tried her damndest to save Chara. Litterally everything in her. The only reason Asgore and Asriel aren’t there is because the former didn’t want the latter to see his sibling and mother like this. It was. Bad. It takes a lot to make Toriel shed a tear, but the physical pain of pumping that much healing magic and the emotional pain was just to much for her. I think the worst part is that their death is the kickstarter for just. So many more tradgeties. Owie.
