I wonder if Spamton would freak out Berdly much like he does with Kris or Spamton projects onto Berdly if he's the one that fight him instead of Kris?

Oh Spamton would freak Berdly out soon hard. He's like "oh weird puppet man who made a deal with god has the same backstory as me? and was abandoned? what a coincidence!" And start crying lmao. Spamton would see Berdly and INSTANTLY start projecting. No doubt.

Noelle and Berdly :)

Noelle has no idea how she became friends with Berdly. She knows how she started talking to him, but she doesn’t know quite when the shift happened from him being her study buddy to her best friend

But, when the spelling bee crisis happened, Berdly bragged to Noelle the next day about it, incessantly, nonstop. It was.. bothersome to say the least.

Then, he offered to tutor Noelle. Noelle didn’t need tutoring. She knew this. Berdly knew this.

Despite this, she accepted. He was the only one to act regular to her after Dess disappeared, and she needed the distraction. Berdly tutoring Noelle quickly became Noelle tutoring Berdly.

Soon, study sessions devolved into gaming sessions. Then, general hangouts. Before she knew it, he was her closest friend.

When Noelle’s sad, Berdly is awful at comforting her. But, he can take out his switch, and offer to vs her in super smashing fighters. He loses. Always

When Berdlys sad, he usually doesnt talk about it, not in any serious way. Noelle still goes out of her way to spend time with him. He appreciates it

They both have a habit of overworking themselves

A lot of late night study sessions the night before tests, a lot of ‘gamer fuel’ as berdly calls it

I hc theyd get into a fight one time bc berdly wants to join some competition and noelle doesnt, but he doesn’t know how to do it without her and she very reluctantly agrees to join after going back and forth with him about it

This is when Berdly REALLY realizes he can’t rely on Noelle forever, or their friendship will become a chore for her

He tells Noelle he’ll do the contest alone. He doesn’t win, but Noelle congratulates him and tells him he did a good job, so Berdly counts it a win anyways.

They come back stronger out of that one, and their friendship is a lot better

All in all: Noelle teaches Berdly that he doesn’t need the attention and cheers of a crowd, just the support of someone he cares about. Berdly helps Noelle relax and let go in times where she desperately needs to have a good laugh.

I wonder what would Spamton say to Berdly if he fought him that really cuts deep with his projection on Berdly especially his line to Kris in snowgrave final battle from the whole "YOU MAKE ME [Sick]! MUTTERING YOUR [Lost Friends] NAMES AT THE BOTTOM OF A [Dumpster]! NO ONE'S GONNA HELP YOU!!! GET THAT THROUGH YOUR [Beautiful Head], YOU LITTLE [Worm]!"

Hmm... def referencing something from his big shot era. I'm not great at writing Spamton though :(

no because that was a bi pride flag on the disney channel. that was a woman calling another woman “sweetheart” on the disney channel. that was a freaking bi character on the disney channel. this was such a win thank you so much amphibia crew.
