Not to mention Berdly’s and Spamton Neo’s fights both takes place on rollercoaster and even ended similarly: Berdly’s car explodes and Spamton will explode if fought with violence

Both Berdly and Spamton need someone else to help them as well: Berdly relies on Noelle and Spamton relies Kris
Yeah, it's things like that! If you wanted to, you could even make the case that Noelle is to Berdly as the Addisons are to Spamton, friends as (presumably) kids, before one became to egotistical and was left behind. Noelle hasn't left Berdly yet but...who knows. We only see two chapters so far.
Make me wonder if Berdly and Noelle were darkeners, would darkener Berdly eventually become like a secret boss and darkener Noelle is like a shopkeeper npc whom then laments about Berdly since he was her old friend when asked about him?

The contrast of Berdly and Spamton in snowgrave: Berdly is heroic with taking things seriously as he notices something very off and tries to save Noelle but fails, Spamton is villainous at his very worst which he has no qualms of subjecting Noelle being forced to commit murder so he can take over but is finished off after Noelle responds to the player's call like a puppet

I wonder if Spamton would freak out Berdly much like he does with Kris or Spamton projects onto Berdly if he's the one that fight him instead of Kris?
Oh Spamton would freak Berdly out soon hard. He's like "oh weird puppet man who made a deal with god has the same backstory as me? and was abandoned? what a coincidence!" And start crying lmao. Spamton would see Berdly and INSTANTLY start projecting. No doubt.
Berdly seems to be qualified to might have the similar mindset and situation to the secret bosses that is being abandoned all alone and ignored by others: His only connection being Noelle which is rather fragile and how it's implied that he's neglected at home since he considers Queen like a mother figure which she acts neglectful to him with always ignoring him
I'd even say that pre spelling bee Berdly hits almost every box post bee him does even harder. Berdly now is unforgettable, if only because of how obnoxious he is. He won't let himself be ignored, but beforehand he was just a forgettable little bluebird.
There's also how Berdly gets plugged by Queen who uses him like a puppet and half of the battle is the fun gang having to free him while Spamton Neo's fight involves cutting his strings in the normal route

I wonder what would Spamton say to Berdly if he fought him that really cuts deep with his projection on Berdly especially his line to Kris in snowgrave final battle from the whole "YOU MAKE ME [Sick]! MUTTERING YOUR [Lost Friends] NAMES AT THE BOTTOM OF A [Dumpster]! NO ONE'S GONNA HELP YOU!!! GET THAT THROUGH YOUR [Beautiful Head], YOU LITTLE [Worm]!"
Hmm... def referencing something from his big shot era. I'm not great at writing Spamton though :(
