It was a day like any other. Long. Repetitive. Boring. And Death was getting antsy. So he moved from his desk and decided to take a walk, sighing with quiet relief as he finally moved from his chair.

He moved along quietly, figuring that he'd get some koffee. Maybe have a talk with Jocelyn or Quinn. Pump Quinn's own desk was on the way to where he was heading, so he decided he'd check in on them first.

He turned a corner and approached where they sat, back to him. The vague sound of scratching pencil on paper piqued his interest. As well as the small pile of crumpled balls nearby.

“Wow, Boss, I don’t know what this-!” Quinn began, but instantly stopped, letting out a small yelp. They stuffed the ball of crumpled paper into their fists, clenching it tightly.
