Hi, just responding to a comment I had made cause I had a lot to say and the comment word count is limited?! 🤣 But I wanted to say it totally makes sense! Comparing yourself to other writers seems like the normal thing to do as a writer cause I find myself doing it from time to time. But you also have to remember you have things about your OWN writing that makes it unique and special to you. Your writing is who you are. Just keep comparing your writing to others will mess with you and your confidence a lot more. You have to try and find a way to regain that confidence in your writing again. Like revisiting some of your favorite stories you've written and think about why you loved it or think about the passion you had when you first started writing and that amazing feeling you might have had when it comes to your first piece of writing. Don't keep being insecure about it too long. Find your footing again and WRITE until you are satisfied with your own creation. 🥹 I don't know you but I believe in you!!! 💜🩷💜🩷 And if you ever need to vent about it I'm gladly here to listen. 😊

anyways sometimes it feels like i don’t have anything unique about my writing and it’s just blegh?? like i’ll be rereading something as i’m editing and it’s like ew bro why would anybody read this🧍🏾‍♀️but you’re absolutely right. maybe i do need to revisit some stuff and keep writing so i can get out of this headspace. hopefully i’ll find what makes my writing unique and use it as a way to keep going
