A Dance Through Time

This took me about two months to finish and it's the biggest piece I've ever done. Inspiration came while I was listening to Fast Car by Tracy Chapman one day, and the vision of Hunter and Omega swaying to the rhythm together came to life before my eyes. Listening to it more brought a realization that some parts of the song fit the story of these two almost perfectly, taking them on a journey from the very first episode of the show to the day peace is restored in the galaxy - like the first verse talking about their beginnings and the second one describing the struggles of living from job to job that we see in season 2. But the core of the story - of the show, of this duo, and of these characters separately - can be brought down to these four lines:

You got a fast car

Is it fast enough so we can fly away?

We gotta make a decision

Leave tonight or live and die this way

i’m re-reading/revising a book for my english exam on thursday (send help), but on a more fun note, i started reading Brotherhood and i’m planning on re-reading A New Dawn!! (plus the various AO3 fics ofc)

The Acolyte, i’m actually really liking it so far honestly, and i’m rewatching Bad Batch, because i love them all, and i miss them

earlier i was really craving cold water, like ice cold, like so cold that it could freeze your mouth off.

coffee or tea?

i don’t really drink either (i probably need to start drinking coffee, my exams are killing me) but i only really drink tea if i’m sick and have a sore throat

favourite animal?

this is gonna make me seem so basic, but cats!!! i have two, one of them’s really sweet, but the other one is crafted from the forces of evil (how they’re biological sisters is beyond me) but i also love guinea pigs, because i grew up having them as pets, and they’re just soso sweet

Tech is quoisexual - meaning he doesn't really relate to or understand experiences or concepts of sexual attraction and orientation/feels confusion towards his feelings of attraction - one thing he isn't confused about? He loves Phee :)

Wrecker is omnisexual and Khea is pansexual! - While similar-ish identities the two do vary when it comes to attraction

Echo and Viram are both Demisexual and bisexual/romantic!

Though Echo leans a little more towards being both demisexual and demiromantic than anything

Cross doesn't like labels but he likes men - he knows that much

Tay is bisexual! Though if you ask him, he'll jokingly say he's 'Cross-sexual' because he's absolutely whipped for his man

Also I totally didn't draw the bi flag upside down - Tay is just an idiot

Achillean hearts! Because they're men attracted to men and I think the flag is pretty and wanted to include it
