I know esp on tumblr/online it can often feel like such a narrow microcosm of lesbian identity. and I don’t mean to diss or say anything against butch or femme identities here!! they rock!! but lesbianism exists outside those two strict identities, in all different ways, and it’s just as valid and cool! speaking as someone who’s also not butch or femme, non-binary and androgynous lesbians are pretty darn awesome ✨

guys totally crazy but i was at the bar getting another drink (hell yeah!!) when an older woman put Her HANDS ON MY WAIST and said “sorry, love” and scooched right by me and then stood beside me with her arm touching mine!!! for the whole time we wre both there getting our drinks lol it’s crazy I was blushing like hell!!
