before the two of you start dating, a mutual bond of trust is going to have to be established. he has to trust you and you have to trust him, that's just how it is for him.

shinso seems like the kind of person to not give a fuck what your gender is. if he likes you and you like him, why does gender matter? why would he care what other people think of the two of you being together?

if you come out to him, he'll immediately discard your dead name and use your preferred pronouns on the spot. he cares for you and he wants you to know he supports you no matter what.

i don't think his love language is words of affirmation or physical contact ⸺ but, he will use both when comforting you ( with consent for the physical contact ). his favorite thing to do is hold your hands and rub his thumb along your knuckles / kiss your knuckles.

i feel like he enjoys receiving words of affirmation a lot ( he won't show physically show how much better it makes him feel but you can tell by the way his eyes light up and his posture straightens a bit more that the words make him happy! ).

3 am stargazing is a reoccurring thing throughout your relationship. talking about everything and anything all at once. you guys can sit in absolute silence and be perfectly comfortable with each other.

also, binge watching tv shows on the weekends is a must. curled up on either one of your beds and eyes glued to the laptop in front of you ⸺ well, it wasn't like your full attention was on the show. little side glances and kisses were distributed each episode, just as a reminder that the other person was there.

it takes a while for him to get used to it so he's thankful that you don't push a bunch of physical affection on him all at once

the slight tugs at the hem of his shirt or belt loops ( not that he ever wears a belt ) is just something he has to get used to, he tells himself. and, eventually, he does

he embraces ( usually only when the two of you are alone. but some times he will make an exception ) your gentle touches, your soft / heavy sounding breaths against his skin, your weight against him. he's learning. he's trying.

if you get worn out in the middle of a battle, regardless of the fact if you're a hero or a villain, he will stop at nothing to get you out of the battle and to a safe place that you can relax with him

⸻ he's adorable. i love kaidou sm guys. i got distracted and kind of wrote what i think dating him would be like as well ^^

he's actually the most awkward person ever when it comes to having a crush on someone. believe me.

he's all red and flustered, tripping over his words.

it takes him a while to figure out exactly what his feelings about you are, and he struggles to accept that they're actually romantic. he talks to saiki (god bless him) and kuboyasu about it, not mentioning you, and they both confirm that it those are romantic feelings he has.

kaidou struggles to show his feelings. he can't bring himself to avoid you, but it seems like he's a million miles away when you're hanging out. he feels guilty when you ask him if he's okay.

i think him confessing could go two ways. number 1 is that i think eventually he either just blurts out that he has a crush on you, or number 2 is he shoves a note in your locker.

he doesn't sign the note, but you can tell that it's from him. his penmanship is very recognizable.

you gently confront him about it, either handing him your own letter in response to his feelings, or saying to his face that you would love for him to be your boyfriend.

the two of you don't tend to go on fancy dates, instead just using your alone time to catch up with each other or do parallel play, since he has to use so much of his time for studying.

loves cuddling. he is a cuddle bug.

you'll probably have to initiate most pda, if you want it. he is very nervous and doesn't want to make you uncomfortable. (but he loves it!! it makes him feel very loved.)
