i don't think his love language is words of affirmation or physical contact ⸺ but, he will use both when comforting you ( with consent for the physical contact ). his favorite thing to do is hold your hands and rub his thumb along your knuckles / kiss your knuckles.

i feel like he enjoys receiving words of affirmation a lot ( he won't show physically show how much better it makes him feel but you can tell by the way his eyes light up and his posture straightens a bit more that the words make him happy! ).
