I think my fav underrated marauders character, which idk if this would count as marauders era, but is Narcissa. I love her a lot. She is such an amazing character who, very intelligently, betrayed Voldemort. She is so loving to her son, and I think she would be the same to all of her People. Shes so complex too, I mean the pressure she would be put through as a girl in that family? She has so much inner turmoil between her wants and needs, and her family. I mean she has so many different sides to her, for each setting and group she's in. Almost like a chameleon. Being the youngest, too. I feel like she would really parallel Regulus, I think that they would be very close. It makes me sad that her and her sisters aren't talked about as much (probably because they're girls). As for marauders era in particular, I wouldn't really know what would be considered underrated because I think there are some that are REALLY popular, but are just REALLY mis characterized, so I think a lot of the accurate depictions of characters are underrated.

regulus knew he was better than everyone else. he was the one who stayed. he was the one to endure the meaning of what it truly is to be a black. he didn’t get married off to another family nor had somewhere to run away to. he had to endure the damage of what came before him. he had to conform to what was expected of him. he was a born a black and he had died a black.
