Currently Thinking And Obsessing About The Fact That My Dad Very Likely Went To An Australian Version
currently thinking and obsessing about the fact that my dad very likely went to an Australian version of Chuck E. Cheese called Charlie Cheese back in the early-to-mid 80s when he was a kid and how fucking COOL that is!!!

the fact that were was a whole balcony stage show with a Warblettes animatronic, a Madame Oink AND a Dolli Dimples in my country is absolutely amazing to me and i'm having so many thoughts about it. where are they now? do they still exist? did they have other rotating guest characters or was it just Madame Oink? were there any differences to the showtapes (such as name changes or localisations)? there's also this incredibly rare and adorable Charlie plush and i love him SO MUCH i'm rotating him around in my head right now

i'm kinda surprised that CEC had locations here at all back in the 80s because animatronics aren't really a big thing in Australia, at least not as much as they are in America. we never really had that big animatronic pizza craze over here and animatronic shows are a pretty rare sight here apart from the occasional big amusement park chain (but even then, they're not very common at all). but yeah i think it's fucking awesome that my dad went here as a kid as he recalls quite a lot of details about the show and the animatronics up on stage!! he specifically remembers the Grundy's location, that there was "a giant rat" and the cheese wall maze underneath the animatronics and it's SO COOL to me as someone who has a love for these old retro pizza animatronics!!! no joke one of my biggest dreams is to just see either an 80s cec animatronic or a rockafire animatronic irl one day and the fact that my dad got to see a cec show is amazing!! :D
P.S. here's a video i found of the Charlie Cheese show at Grundy's performing!!! it's at the 38 second mark and there's footage of Dolli Dimples performing too!!

i don't know much about Horrid Henry but from what i have seen of the cartoon it's just his shitass mum blaming and unfairly punishing her kid, who obviously has undiagnosed and unaccommodated adhd, on small mistakes, things that aren't even remotely horrid and stuff that wasn't even his fault in the first place. lock this woman up and get this kid (and his brother) some halloween sweets
ok weird and oddly specific question but does anyone remember watching a Youtube video from around 2013-2014 with a guy talking about 3D objects, where at the beginning, he starts the video off by doing a Vanilla Ice bit? it was a really old and kinda crusty video that was in 360p at most, and it had an old-ish man around his 30s (who i assume to be a teacher) doing a quick video about 3D objects at a wooden table. at the very beginning of the video, it starts off with him saying "Ice ice baby, too cold, too cold, vanilla" while hooding up ice cubes, a baby doll and a bottle of vanilla extract as he said the words, which then quickly transitioned into him talking about either the objects he was holding or straight into 3D objects. i also vaguely remember a more clear shot of the table, which was a dark brown wooden one where he had some basic 3D objects on there, including a blue cube. the guy in the video kinda acted like Jeepersmedia, but it obviously wasn't him. he had a similar sort of sense of humour and enthusiasm to him which is why i make the comparison to paint a clearer image of what the video was.
the video had no 3D effects, it was all live action with physical objects. the video didn't have a particularly interesting thumbnail either, and it was likely a default thumbnail of a still from the video. it wasn't a song or anything and it didn't have a lot of fancy effects or background music from what i can remember. if it helps, the man had an american accent, a beard and glasses. the video would had to have been uploaded either before or in the year of 2014, as that was the year i first watched it when i was a kid. i can't remember the title, but it definitely had the name "3D objects" in there. i did a lot of searching using the before:date method on youtube, but to no avail. i'm afraid it might be lost media, or at least just unlisted. i've love to see it again one day because it was a really entertaining video and it was a piece of my childhood i hold dearly in my memory.
if i were a splatoon character i would be the most annoying person in a splatfest ever because i would take so fucking long to vote for which thing i side with because my autistic brain loves to weigh every single little factor of an option to make sure it's the absolutely correct one to make in any given scenario.
"mayo or ketchup? hmmm well personally i'm more of a mayonnaise man myself but at the same time ketchup has many qualities that i find to be very pleasing when combined with certain flavours that mayonnaise just doesn't mesh well with. still though i find that i prefer the more eggy savoury taste of mayo compared to ketchup buuut-"
"OH MY GOD YOU'RE CHOOSING A CONDIMENT, NOT DECIDING THE NEXT 10 YEARS OF YOUR LIFE! JUST PICK ONE!!!" lmaooo
for some reason i love the idea of beta Mitzi Mozzarella specifically secretly being a cosmically terrifying entity and that the WP5/early RAE version of My Boyfriend's Back (the one sung by Fechter) is her summoning her dead boyfriend Mickey from the song Dragstrip using necromancy powers to kill that nerd who was lying about her, and that her being a weird mouse-shaped entity explains her being 17 for the 35th time in a row. cosmic horror Mitzi my dearest friend
they just replaced the cutesy kitschy handpainted community art with boring flat safe green and beige coloured flowers in the tunnel that leads to the city train station. i am in a state of inconsolable despair and my life has been ruined forever. this is a national tragedy.
