context: i have grapheme colour synesthesia i'm pretty sure today is very orange :) if only it were 2007 or 2027 then it would be even more orange 7 is quite a vibrant orange colour. october is a more desaturated orange and monday is an orange based brown you know the ''what colour is monday'' argument where it's either red or blue you're both wrong. it's brown synesthesia grapheme color synesthesia

i posted this to Pillowfort earlier but a couple days ago i did an unfinished redraw of this older sketch from 2023 of Salesman Barry and High-rank Craig together :3 Barry had a really rough day trying to sell his gramophones and he's struggling to deal with his financial issues and pressure to uphold a family tradition, and Craig can understand how he feels as he has to work for a pretty shitty boss (cough cough brains), and his job as a scientist, while enjoyable, was partially pursued out of being pressured as well.

additionally: i have created a digital redraw that's still a work in progress but i thought it looked good so i'm posting it :) i have been trying a newer style from my earlier digital stuff and i think it works well with the Jetpack Joyride characters!!

the Pillowfort post has an earlier version with slightly different tears and colouring and stuff, i wanted to put a more up to date version here. also fanon Craig with colour for the first time!?!?!?!?? what!!! i like to think Craig wore a similarish kind of outfit to Runingunin when he first appears in Brains' lab in AOZ. i like to think Craig would wear a "Trust Data Not Lore" t-shirt underneath his coat loll

i mean like. lookat em. they're both so similar to each other. the flower motif, the messing with ancient magic (Everfree's magic and the nightmare fuel magic of The Constant), the evil ruler monster transformation that brings incredible power to both Gloriosa and Charlie including the ability to manipulate nature... in the Legend of Everfree Movie, Timber Spruce tells a story of an ancient spirit who is basically the guardian of the forest of Everfree named Gaea, who is first seen emerging from the darkess with nothing but two glowing eyes being visible, and Gloriosa later scares everyone when she walks towards the campfire in a similar way (which is foreshadowing for her later role as a villain). in the 'A New Reign' cinematic for Don't Starve Together, Charlie emerges from the shadows just like Gloriosa, with her eyes being the first visible thing to appear from the darkness. and like... she's literally the thing that kills you in the darkness. conclusion: Gloriosa is Charlie's mlpsona /j

WE ARE REACHING INTO PSYCHOLOGICAL JHORROR TERRITORY WITH THIS ONE IM. THIS IS ACTUALLY REALLY INTRIGUING???!?? i LOVE the idea of legit research being secretly super fucked up!?!?!!! PETER SIMPKINS!?!?? HELLO??!?? is. is Criag a clone of Barry's dad?? is THIS what's happening??? i think. Brains had a vlose relationship to Barry's family, probably founding Legit Research with good intentions, however he fell into villainy unable to properly deal with Simpkins' death..,. also HE TURNED AUSTRALIAN AT THE END THEY TURNED HIM AUSTAALI. HE'S AUTRALIA. HE'S DEFINITELY RELatED TO BARRY IN SOME WAY!!! he was able to break through solid metal like his son!!! am j. im hoing insane HOLY cow holy shit im. sorry this is very incoherent i literally just woke up
