I redesigned my inkling persona character in hype of the Splatoon2 announcement. 

The character and core ideas are still the same (stoic, strategic, cunning - mistaken for an octoling easily), but I wanted to try to represent them better through the design and color choices to fit into the Splatoon world. It was also fun to do an illustration in the official concept art style.  

I’ll try to do some conceptual playstyle sheets and written descriptions later explaining the fountain pen weapon.

Hey!! I’m so sorry it took me so long to get back to this, I had been meaning to reblog this picture for a long time but everything slips my mind nowadays... This is awesome, love the sky and general lighting and atmosphere. It gives me a movie screen capture vibe here.
