After seeing chromat’s picture of his family as object heads, I wanted to join in on the party! My mom is a novelist and has been one a /very/ long time and I’ve always known her to be always at the extremes of incredibly fashionable or very sloppy. Most of the time, she’s very friendly, accommodating, and even childish. (Her head is my rendition of one of her book covers since they all follow the same theme.) My dad is a retired architect who seems to wear the same things everyday. He’s kinda similar to my mom in that he’s very child-like too but probably to a more embarrassing degree. And then there’s me who thinks wearing leather jackets in hot weather is ok to do. You guys know what I’m like.

While watering my plants today (I own bamboo now), I remembered this particular incident, which happened several months ago.

Because I was too haunted by my mother's distrust in my sense of responsibility for living things, I neglected to research this particular plant's needs :,^( Cacti do not need much water at all.

This seems to happen a lot.
