A what point can a total beginner start juicing? Right at the beginning, Should I train for a certain amount of time, put on a certain amount of mass or drop to certain body fat percent first?
This is a really good question, one that I wrestled with myself for a long time before I started juicing myself.
The one piece of information I think it is crucial to understand is:
Steroids cannot defy the laws of physics
So if you are an absolute beginner, to me that means your training and most importantly diet will not be up to scratch. Your diet may be ok by ‘normal’ person standards, but it will not be the diet of a bodybuilder.
This doesn’t mean you have to start eating 12 whole chickens per day and a kilo of rice, but it does mean having to grasp the concept that food is fuel and it alone forms the raw materials needed for building your new musculature.
If you’re burning approx 2,000 kcals per day and eating the equivalent of 2,000 kcals (or fewer), what is your body supposed to use to physically fabricate muscle tissue? Steroids aren’t magic, they can’t grow muscle tissue out of thin air. So EAT.
I come from the perspective of a former 140lb hard gainer who has the appetite of a toddler, so that is probably skewing my advice. If you’re currently overweight/obese then I am not your best bet when it comes to diet: my whole life has been focussed on eating more and more and more.
In terms of training, the same kind of logic applies. Yes you could juice from the very first day you set foot in a gym, but I reckon that’s incredibly foolish. You can watch all the YouTube videos you want and read all the men’s health articles you can find about training, but it’s absolutely no substitute for just getting stuck in and learning ‘on the job’ as it were.
Even on this cycle, a full 9 years after first touching a dumbbell, I’m still learning. It’s only been during this cycle that I finally feel like I am fully maximising the contraction in my back when I row. For years I tried to ‘get’ single arm dumbbell rows, and I just couldn’t. For me they just don’t work.
These are the kinds of insights that only come from knowing your own body and understanding the tips and tricks that work for you. I don’t think that can be taught, it’s learned workout after workout. And if you’re a complete beginner, the chances of having that knowledge are more remote.
I had put on around 27lbs whenever I first made the leap from natty into the brotherhood. Could I have waited and put on another 5 natty lbs? Yeah I probably could have. Could I have added another 10 natty lbs? Woulda been harder, but yeah, it wouldnt have been impossible.
The one thing that made me know I needed to take steroids was my end goal:
The physique I want cannot be achieved without steroids
I simply would not ever look like Peter Molnar if I remained natty. So with that in mind the question in my head became “What am I really achieving by adding another 5 natty lbs when I already know I still have another 50lbs to add after that??’.
So I slid a 1.25 inch needle into my left glute and haven’t looked back.

I ran 300mg NPP and 300mg testosterone enanthate per week, for a total of 12 weeks.
As the cycle went on though, I (slightly) tapered the test down and the NPP up. It’s hard to be 100% accurate when dealing with a graduated syringe, but I estimate it to have been nearer 350 NPP and 250 test at the end.
I was only running them in equal proportion as a ‘bare minimum’ to prevent deca dick (according to a lot of things I’d read online). But my dick was hard as a rock, never better in fact. So I elected to tweak the NPP higher and test and see if this was still the case. It was.
I can’t comment on whether the whole ratio thing between nandrolone and test is complete shit in EVERY case, but certainly for me, I ran test below nandrolone without any impact to sexual performance. I did keep my estro control tight (as evidenced by my blood test results) which may have helped in that respect.

WEEK 9
