Yeah I should explain, so when I was making the playlist I saw the song right, and I was like: “Oh hey, main character, #1 villain who acts like he’s better than everyone else?? This totally makes sense!” (Note that it was 1am and I was SO sleep deprived)

But now that you point it out, and I’ve thought about it for longer than two seconds.. I realize it actually doesn’t make much sense and you’re totally right this is 1000% just a Becky song, I have no explanation. 💀 Cuz yk the main character claims to be the heroic protagonist and two brains is the evil antagon- you get it.

Another wordgirl au!! This one is called the “To be me again” (“me again” for short) Au!!

In this au, Steven Boxleitner struggles for control over Twobrains, saying he’d give his right arm to be himself again. Later that week, wordgirl stumbles across him in a battle of wills where Twobrains severely injures her. Before too much is done, however, Steven takes control and turns his dominant arm into goop. The pain causes him to pass out, which wordgirl and the henchmen use as an open opportunity to get Steven the surgery he needs to regain his sanity. When Steven wakes up, he is overjoyed. The robot arm he later receives takes a little getting used to, but Steven is just glad to be himself again.
