I swear I thought I had posted this already. Second comic of my attempt at a comic year! This one’s about our lil Moon having a crush on the Sun and asking her out- Successfully? Well it does work out in the end

"Oh, Hero~!" - the villain called, sauntering into the room. "I've got a surprise~!"

The hero sighed. "Is it another missing person poster?"

Crow

Supervillain gaped at the sight of their greatest arch nemesis in civilian attire, no armor or weapons in sight. Plus the fact that they were, y’know, maskless. Hero stepped forward slowly, making Supervillain tense, a soft caw escaping their throat before they could even think about it. This caught the villain by surprise. Caw? Why would I caw?.. Supervillain didn’t have much time to stew in these thoughts as the hero sat down a good two feet away from them, making low cooing noises to Supervillain.

    “The fuck?” was what Supervillain meant to say, but what came out was a squawk. A fucking squawk. Hero froze, eyes never leaving the villain. Supervillain was tempted to just stand up & walk out, but a pain from their side made them stop. They looked over to what they thought was their arm, only to be met with a wing. Supervillain cawed involuntarily as they immediately looked around at their body.

    Inky-black feathers everywhere on their body, cawing, the fact that they were smaller than the hero, it was all pointing to a direction Supervillain didn’t like. Whatever those fuckers at Villains labratories did turned them into a crow. A fucking crow.

Things didn’t seem to go Supervillain's way, did they?

Hero looked at the bird on their table, concern plaguing their mind. The crow seemed to be panicking, looking at their wing, then to the rest of their body, genuine alarm in their feathered features. 

    “You alright bud?” Hero asked hesitantly, not wanting to scare the crow further. Its head snapped up, staring at the Hero with fear normally shown with the civilians Hero saved on the daily. They softened at the sight, picking up the towel & wrapping the crow in it, gently of course. The bird squawked in a panic, writhing in Hero’s grasp. It fortunately calmed itself down after a few moments of being suspended in Hero’s hands. “Would you like something to eat or drink? I’m not exactly sure what crows eat but I’m sure you’ll help me, right?” Hero looked down at the crow, as if expecting an answer.

    God I’m talking to a fucking crow. Sidekick was right when they said I needed to get out more. Hero mused this thought to themselves as they set the corvid on their table, the bird still hesitant in the new surroundings. They searched through their fridge looking for something for a crow to eat. “The heck does a crow eat..” Hero mumbled to themselves. 

    A caw drew them out of their thoughts. The crow was now standing, attempting to peer into the fridge. “Wanna take a look?” They asked. It then nodded- wait a minute. Hero took a step back, awe overtaking their features. “Can-can you understand me?” They stammered. The bird gave a weird look then nodded. Hero’s eyes became dinner plates, their body becoming paralyzed on the spot.

“Squawk.”

…Hero may need to call in sick today.
