A seemingly quaint little cottage greeted you as you emerged from the dense forest brush. Exhaustion seeped into your bones at the sight.

You limped your way to the door, covered in dirt, sticks, and scratches. But despite your hope to find safety inside, you couldn’t find any more strength to continue and collapsed right by the door.

Darkness took away your consciousness. Your body lay there for a few minutes before someone emerged to investigate. Two pairs of crimson eyes studied you in curiosity before bringing you inside.

When in reality, if you go 'What year is this?!?' people will just say '2024. Crazy huh.' and you go 'Wtf where has my youth gone.'

And if you ask 'And what month??' people won't judge you, they'll just go like 'SEPTEMBER!!! Can you believe it?!?!' and you go 'WHAT?!? Last time I checked we were in May?!?'

Doing away with the lame "character gets fat to indicate that they've become a huge loser" trope and replacing it with a new, cooler "character gets fat to indicate they finally feel fulfilled with life" trope
