Jade was no stranger to nightmares. Being kidnapped, beaten and left to die would do that to a person. She had been out late last night staking out a new demon hideout. She had fallen asleep almost immediately once she finally got home.

She got maybe an hour or two of restful sleep before her dreams became nightmares. At first she was reliving being kidnapped by Lilith and how she had been abused by the demon's hands.

Her dreams quickly shifted to Lilith forcing her to watch her loved ones be put through the same things she had experienced at Lilith's hands. Jade woke up to the sound of her own screams, covered in sweat.
