It was a disaster. Fire was everywhere, the number one pro hero was with half of his face injured and was already being taken to the hospital and the tension in the air didn't fade away even when you were walking peacefully on a streat just to cool yourself down... Not even a single soul was near by, exactly what you wanted.

You couldn't saw the villain's face at the time due to your distance, but the amount of flames was already enough for you to start panicking. Especially when they reminded you of someone, he was working at the time, what if something happened to him?

Even if for some odd reason you couldn't feel a good vibe coming from Endeavour, you still felt pity, that would be a nasty scar engraved on his face (lol sucks for you my man)...

You checked your phone in your pocket to see if he had answered your worried messages, someone felt pity over you to Dabi not only answer but after at least 5 minutes later.

"-Geez Doll calm your ass down I'm okay, just had to deal with a bullshit of a coworker who can't do even something that was comanded... I'll probably be a little late to get home but until there relax a little would ya? I can see you trembling from only reading your message."

"-Asshole I was woried sick about you, I don't even know where the hell you work at!"

"-Well as you can probably see not in the midle of the city, because I would be dead already right? Unless I'm texting you from hell."

You shake your head at the silly messages, Dabi was slowly but surely opening up more and more for you as the times goes by, you learned that you had to be pacient for him to trust you completely, and what's the matter about that? Everyone has their time to give their trust to others, and just by looking sometimes at Dabi in his "vulnerable" moments you could see that he suffered a lot... you wanted to change that, for him to be at least happy...

You peeked inside the building just to comfirm that you weren't hallucinating, you saw Dabi standing right in front of a feartherless; except the one he was holding against your boyfriend freaking neck; Hawks, you weren't even in the conversation and was feeling all tense and bothered...

"Dabi that doesn't change the things, imagine a hypothetical situation, in the middle of the city, all that disaster envolving a bunch of civilians... what are the chances of your (Y/N) be in there? Just walking peacefully back from work and suddenly "bam!" Engulfed by your own flames or even attacked by that Nomu?"

Oh shoot now you were one on their conversations.

For a moment you felt like Dabi was going to burn Hawks alive by only looking at him, his hands were formed in fists and his face remained monotonous as ever, the only difference was the intensity of his gaze toward the winged hero.

"Wow, for a hero you do know how to play dirty don't you?" He smirked "Don't involve someone who doesn't even know what the fuck is going on this topic Hawks, if you want our trust them I suggest that maybe, just maybe you never say their name ever again... Got that?" his words were like acid spilling from his half scarred lips.

You heart was pouding so loudly that you missed half of the conversation before Hawks said something that you swore you felt your world crashing down.

"I was always in favor of the league of villains Dabi."

"Maybe, but I won't let you meet the boss yet..."

So that's why sometimes he came so late back to your appartment, why he avoided and despise the topic of heroes... He hide this from you since when?

You inhaled deeply before opening the door of your appartment preparing to the inevitable.

You looked down at your feet and gently swatted his hands away from your shoulders.

"I'm okay don't worry about it..." you left to grab a cup of water, you needed to calm down.

"How am I not supposed to not worry about it if you were the one texting me like crazy asking if I was okay and then you suddenly dissapear" he said the last thing with his voice mixing with guilt and worry.

You gulped the water, and took a big breath before drooping the bomb.

"You are the villain from earlier aren't you? ' from the league of villains'... The one who was battling with Endeavour..."

None of you speak for at least 5 minutes, the only sounds of the room being your breath and the tic and toc from your clock...

Even with the nerves on your skin you manage to find courage to turn around and meet his turquoise eyes.

Now that was a sign you weren't expecting...

Dabi was with almost giant wide eyes, lips slightly parted and that expression of his... fear, panick... You never saw Dabi in such a desperate stage.

Instead of looking at you he decided to fix his gaze on the kitchen floor, mouth opening and closing trying to find words to answer that...

"H-how... It was Hawks wasn't it?" He laughed maniacally bringing his hand to hide part of his face "That fucking-"

"It wasn't." You interrupted, afraid for the hero's life "I-I kinda... heard your conversation from earlier...it was my own curiosity that lead me to find this... I'm sorry for worrying you, but that's why I took so long to come back..."

Silence... oh for dear god above how you hated this silence.

He lift his gaze from the floor to you, eyes fulled with deep sadness and regret...

"So...? Not gonna do anything?" He asked "Call the heroes for help? Report me? Start yeeling at me saying I'm a monster, that I shouldn't even have a place on this fucking world...? C'mon Doll... don't need to hold back." His tone was so deplorable... like he wanted you to end his existence right there and now.

He closed his eyes when he noticed your steps and just stood there, waiting for the worse...

Guess both of you got surprise at each others actions tonight because the last thing he would expected to feel was your loving embrace engulfing his gloomy figure.

You carresed his scalp making him shiver, and it didn't take too long for cautiously scarred arms to hug you tight in return, maybe if he just caged you in his arms you wouldn't leave...

No, he did deserve to be left on ashes... He wouldn't do this...

"Why?" He chuckled darkly while hugging you tighter "Just look at what your hugging sweet cheeks... I was too selfish to tell you because I didn't need more reasons for you to leave me behind... but also due to your safety, imagine what could happen... heroes would be tracking you down because of your bond with me..." he breathes you in and carresed your hair gently before mumbling something in disgust "Even if you got nothing to deal with it..."

You stayed like this for a moment before letting out a giggle.

"You know it's funny." You rubbed your fingers up and down his back "It was actually so obvious, you were too good at hiding or I was too dumb to know... Maybe both?"

He mumbled a shut up before burying his face in the crook of your neck.

You pinched hard at one of his ears piercings making Dabi yelp; yes yelp; leaving your embrace immediately to cover his ear in pain letting out a few lot of curses.

"That." You pointed at his ear "Was for hidding such a big information like that from me." He rolled his eyes in annoyance

"Okay point tak-" you interrupted him with a small but hard punch on his stomach, not for him to feel imense pain but not to be comfortable either.

"That. Was for you threatening a life only beacause they mentioned my name, you're going to find more trouble than you already have with this."

"Oh fuck you you little shit." He spilled out the words glaring at you with his previously hand on his ear now on his stomach. "Done already?"

"Actually no." He groaned as you made your way towards him.

"That." You spoke while gently putting both of your hands on his face and bringing him for a long and passionate kiss. When both of you parted, Dabi eyes were clouded with wonder yet adoration.
