tbh i don't think people really understand how dire the water situation is in the west bank. the last time i was in palestine, i could only shower once a month. ONCE A MONTH. we simply did not have enough water to sustain my whole family, because israel controls palestinians' water supply and does not give us enough to sustain ourselves in the long run. plus the water isn't very clean so it was very easy to get sick all the time. when we say that "palestinians drink more olive oil than water", it's not genuinely such a silly hyperbole as you might think.

In this war, I am facing indescribable suffering. When my period comes, I cannot find the sanitary pads I need. Their prices have become so high that I am forced to look for unhealthy alternatives, such as old cloths. This is not only inconvenient, but it also puts my health at risk and increases my pain. I feel embarrassed and anxious, not only because of the physical pain, but because I know that my need for something as simple as pads is not available under these harsh conditions. Sick of the very obvious pattern on this website where people will rb nebulous “free Palestine!!” posts then proceed to ignore fundraisers, start discourse about the fundraisers being scams, pretend like seeing fundraisers on their dash is the most inconvenient thing to have ever happened to them. Like . Not that it shouldn’t be obvious, but it’s extremely suspect when you’re all for the concept of Palestinian liberation but then act like it’s an impossible request when you’re asked to apply that into tangible effort to help struggling Palestinian families evacuate and afford literal basics you take for granted

Those are some real things I've seen people say before. You don't have an opinion on the literal genocide going on in Gaza and Palestine? The lives being taken? The atrocities Israel has done? You're refusing to educate yourself on all of this because it makes you anxious? (Boo hoo) That's disgusting to me. You can't be "neutral" about a literal war??

You're either with Palestine or not. I'm loud and proud about supporting Palestine, and if any of my mutuals, followers, friends or family who don't feel the same, please get away from me and this blog.
