Honestly, you shouldn't be scared. It's healthy to not spend too much time online, but you shouldn't be afraid of posting random stuff. Just, be aware of scammers and perverts.
I'm scared to post stuff. It's the weirdest of my blown out fears. Like what if something something blah blah. Like I didn't post for nearly a year. Literally what's the difference now.
Fairy tale redesign ideas (inspired by Disney's classical princesses).
Fairy tale princesses redesigns (for a modern audience): Sleeping beauty: Now, the original fairy tale was written by Giambattista Basile, and then there's Perrault's version and the brother's Grimm version. The fairy tale has passed through Italy, France and Germany. Just like with Snow White, we are still in the Alps, and the amout of sharp bushes can refer to dogroses, hawthorn, blackberries or cloudberries. However, we are no longer looking at "high contrast". Two versions of this were published in the XVIIth century. Also, some say 100 years pass, others say some time, but the original doesn't specify. So, let us combined XVIth century elements with high/medieval fantasy for this one. Also, we have a young woman aged 18-21, so we can let go of childish proportions. We thus have a wide variety of waistlines and necklines to choose from, but I'd stick to the earlier part, from 1510 to 1530, about that. First design: So, this design would include a braided updo, with the front strands gently framing her face. The dress would be quite visually simple, with sleeves that are form-fitting near the top and then flared out quite dramatically and going a bit longer than her arms. Her dress would have a wide trapezoidal neckline, almost off the shoulders, and with a trim. Her sleeves and the skirt of the dress would also have a trim. Her waistline would sit a bit higher than the natural waist, and would have a slight train. Floral embroidery representing hawthorn blossoms or roses can be added to the various trims, making them the main visual accent. Color palette and proportions: I think we can go a bit more angular, with more southern European features such as a longer, slightly hooked nose and a bit of a peachy tan, with dark blond hair framing her face, with calm brown eyes to match. Her clothing could be a pale, warm pink or off-white, and the trims a pale gold color. The overall look would be calm and low-contrast.
Of course, they didn't make judgements. But they tried to advocate for their political rights, and others also tried to did. I couldn't get all the documents I would prefer to put my grubby little hands on.
Can someone else deal with this?

Description de la cuisine Sanson...
In English:
In the first cupboard in the kitchen were proudly stored five earthenware goblets and four glass wine cups and five others made of fir. There were also eighteen small earthenware shot glasses, painted in the same blue floral designs as the goblets and placed on the same shelf, giving one a magnificent collection of drinking ware. The house's taste for wine was not thus made discreet. On another, there were around ten saucers, two of which were placed vertically to be able to more easily admire the patterns of linden branches. There were also fourteen cups of identical materials and designs, three others made of wood, and a silver tray, which matched the small teacups that adorned the ledge of the attic chimney. In the second were stored an earthenware salt shaker with blue floral patterns, a mustard pot with similar patterns, sixteen pewter table knives, sixteen two-pronged forks of the same material, six teaspoons, ten tablespoons, eight plates with the same motifs such as the salt shaker, a teapot with linden branch motifs. There were more discreetly stored quite worn wooden bowls, obviously used to teach young children to behave at the table. The dining room table was large, enough to accommodate ten guests, and there was also a table for six, quite low, specially designed and purchased to seat small children. There was also a secretary for days when the number of guests was too large. However, the kitchen also had a table for two people, and the servants' common table could easily accommodate eight people. The attic had a small table for four, and the living room for one. At all meals, fat days or lean days, there was always herbal tea, cider and wine, but never coffee unlike other bourgeois families. On fat days pork or pigeon were served, on lean days peas, lentils, sometimes crayfish or fish.
Oc thoughts!
Peony and Neville! Peony who is confident for the two of them and Neville being jealous of it at first, when they're little kids. Since she's been raised by some distant relatives, she is not at all like her insane parents, only has the pride and aggression without the magic racism, and Neville envies that as he has severe confidence issues. But he is so so kind and loyal, and she constantly feels bad for what her parents did to his, and he doesn't seem to like her either, so they avoid each other until she saves his ass from something and he starts to trust her. Oh also Peony has never seen kindness like his and it makes her melt always. Peony who tries to get into the DA in 5th year and no one wants to accept her because of her name, but Neville says he believes her good intentions and idk idk they're too cute
I think Peony was primarely raised by her paternal aunt and her grandmother, with Lucius and Narcissa also getting involved, but not too much for fear of losing their reputation. Macnair would also be involved in her education, partially because of his job that does involve working with dementors. I don't believe Peony would be not magically racist, but I don't think she'd be willing to participate in violence to reinforce it. More like someone who believes in preserving wizarding culture and pure bloodlines, but probably not in violence to enforce it.
Your plot line is very good, and it's so cute. Neville and Peony...Yeah, she'd be the confident one of the two. Also, yes, they seem like people who would be avoiding each other, until she saves him, or something like that. They would be the cute couple, and maybe the healthiest one.
