Hi! Could you please write a Brienne x princess!reader who comes from a kingdom where basically their views are the same as ours… well the good views. Basically gender equality (so female knights), and any (legal) relationships are accepted and the people actually have rights. Brienne doesn’t know this, r thinks she does so r’s excited when she tells her they were going there. Bri is scared that r’s parents don’t approve of their relationship, and that she would get insulted by more people. When they get there, r was called by her parents so she had to leave Brienne. Bri explores a little and gets nervous when people are looking at her but one girl comes up to her and she’s like “You’re Brienne! Aren’t you the first female knight of Westeros?” and some people chime in too with good things about her. Then r joins her and they go back to the castle where Brienne notices knights of all genders just doing duties normally. Reader complains about her parents already joking about their marriage and Brienne’s just like ‘i really like this place’. This was long. I am terribly sorry. And you don’t have to write it if u dont want to. But thanks!

A/n: I really liked this Idea, I hope it's what you imagined! It's a bit shorter than usual, I hope you don't mind!!

Chapter 2 / Chapter 3

Hi! Could You Please Write A Brienne X Princess!reader Who Comes From A Kingdom Where Basically Their

"I can't wait for you to meet my parents and my sister, I haven't been home in so long! You'll love them, my sister can be a bit annoying at times but still she is amazing." You hugged Brienne really fast and jumped up and down out of excitement. Brienne tried to share you happiness, but she didn't feel it.

To be quite honest, Brienne was scared. What if you parents wouldn't be supportive of your relationship? She wasn't sure you would choose her over your family. Her insecurities were still too big for that. She never really believed it was all true, sometimes still fearing you were joking about your feeling for her.

But still, never in her life had she felt so safe and good as she does with you. She really didn't want to lose that. She didn't want to lose you. And she knew how much this trip meant to you and that you were really looking forward to seeing your family again, so she went with you. Trying to forget her fears.

----------------

As you arrived, you wanted to show Brienne all of the city. You wanted to show her where you played as a child, where you could get the best food, where you had learnt to make medicine. But upon arriving you were called to your parents. Brienne didn't want to come with you directly because she had brought them something as a gift. And that gift was deep down in your luggage. So you went alone and told your parents they would meet Brienne later.

Brienne started walking through the castle and explored where you had grown up. She was careful not to meet any people as she was scared of their reaction. Scared of what they would say about her, if you weren't with her.

Rounding a corner she stood directly in a courtyard full of people. For a second she thought about turning around and basically fleeing. But that wasn't very knight-like. Also, someone had already seen her. A little girl ran directly up to her. She stopped a few feet in front of her and looked up at her. Brienne had to say it looked quite adorable. But to spare the poor child from a neck concussion, Brienne kneeled down.

"You're Brienne of Tarth! Aren't you the first female knight of Westeros?" The girl beamed at Brienne waiting for her answer.

"Yes, I suppose I am."

"That's amazing. I want to be a knight too, when I'm older! I want to be just like you! Mother, that's Brienne!" The girl's mother accompanied them and Brienne stood up again.

"I'm sorry, that your daughter took me as an example, I suppose you don't want her to be knight." The woman looked confused and shook her head.

"Oh no, it would honour our family if Tyra would be like you one day."

"Is it true that you have never lost a fight?" A young man came up to them and questioned Brienne.

"Yes, I-"

"I have heard, you are stronger than most men."

"You are so tall, how tall exactly are you?"

Brienne had a hard time answering everyone as there came more and more people, all asking questions. But to her surprise, none of them were cruel, jokingly or offensive. They were all honest, curious and interested. Brienne got quite overwhelmed by all the nice people.

"My, my. Don't attack her like that. One after another. The poor woman doesn't know where to begin." As she heard your voice behind her, she visibly relaxed.

"All sit down, and then you can ask your questions. One after another, like the civilized people we are."

After you had brought some organization to the chaos, it felt much more relaxed. Brienne answered all the questions patiently and told the kids all the stories the asked for. She was still completely overwhelmed by all the kindness. She had never known something like this.

---------------

After every question was answered you took Brienne back into the castle. She was surprised to see not only women work in the kitchen and the chambers but also men. She was also surprised to see many women as soldiers and knights, practising just like the men. She couldn't wrap her mind around this, she was truly speechless.

"Honestly, my parents. You wouldn't believe them, they were already talking about our marriage. They really asked me what colour I would like my gown to be? Can you believe that." You looked at Brienne, surprised by the lack of response coming from her.

"Brienne, hello? Are you even listening to me."

Completely starstruck she looked at you.

"I really like this place." She was truly adorable. You stopped and took her face in your hands. Smiling brightly at her.

"I'm so happy to hear that. If you want we can stay here. We could also live here."

"I would like that, you never told me how...nice everyone is. They are so...accepting and tolerant." You laughed at that.

"Darling, I thought you knew that. This," you made a wide gesture, "is where I grew up. This is what made me so accepting and tolerant." You cupped her face again and gently kissed her.

"But know, you'll meet my parents. Come on." You grabbed her hand and dragged her behind you as you wandered off to find your parents.

This is so incredibly sweet. I love it!!!

Hey, I was wondering if you could write  Larissa Weems x Daughter!Reader, where the reader is like 15 years old, a shapeshifter like her and it's been like 4-5 years since Larissa has adopted her and one morning, reader shows up with the same color hair as her and shyly start calling her "mom"? Something very sweet with a lot à fluff ❤

Thanks, Mom

Larissa Weems x Daughter!Reader

Authors Note: Now this is cute.

Hey, I Was Wondering If You Could Write Larissa Weems X Daughter!Reader, Where The Reader Is Like 15

She looked shocked to see you when you came down the stairs. Your usual dark brown hair was now light blonde, almost white, just like hers. Your adoptive mother, Larissa Weems, smiled at you, but she didn’t make a big deal of the change, “I like your hair.”

She placed a plate of eggs and toast at the kitchen counter for you before turning around to fix herself lunch for work. This was apart of your everyday ritual with one another.

Since you had been adopted by Larissa Weems 5 years ago, she always gently woke you up in the mornings before school. When you came downstairs a half hour later, she had breakfast ready and packed you a lunch. She really was a wonderful mother and you loved her very much. About a year after coming to live with Larissa, you warmed up to her allowing her to hug you and kiss your forehead. She helped you lots with your shapeshifting too.

You sat at the counter and bit your lip before you spoke, “Thanks, mom.”

She turned to look at you, a smile spread across her face. Larissa felt her heart swell in her chest, but she knew you didn’t like her to make such a big deal over things. She felt as though she could cry at you finally calling her mom, “Of course, sweetheart.”

Larissa finished packing your lunches for the day, placing yours before you before she took your now empty plate. She pressed a kiss to your forehead. She noticed the lipstick mark and licked her thumb before wiping it away, “Sorry, honey.”

“No worries, mom. Can I have Katie over tonight?” You ask, getting up from your chair to put on your shoes and grab your backpack.

“If you get your homework done.” She replied glancing at you over her shoulder as she rinsed the dish and stuck it in the dishwasher, “Are you walking with me to school or do you have fencing practice?”

“Fencing. Can I put my backpack in your office until class?” You ask holding up the bag by its handle.

“Yes, but don’t leave it in the way. I almost tripped over it last time.” You could help but roll your eyes at her comment.

You swore she had eyes in the back of her head, “I saw that young lady.”

You took that ad your cue to leave and head to fencing practice, “Okay, mom. I’ll see you tonight.”

Larissa smiled again at the name, but she stopped you before you could get out the front door, “Stop right there.”

You knew you were forgetting something. You left the front door open and jogged over to Larissa, wrapping your arms around her torso. When you pulled away she took your face in her hands and gave you air kisses all over your face and head, “Okay, okay, okay, you’re smothering me.”

“I just love you so much, my little baby.” She was messing with you now as she wrapped you back up into a bone crushing hug that had you laughing.

“Yes, I love you too. Now, I need oxygen.” You laughed between the words, pushing against her and trying to free yourself from her grasp.

She released you with a smile and shooed you out the door, “Okay, now don’t be late.”

A better World Pt.3

Pairing: Brienne of Tarth x Reader

Word Count: 662

Warning: mention of mental health problems, trauma

A/n: So first of all, this is a quite rudimentary portrait of mental health as I am not sure of how evolved the matter would be in the game of thrones world. Second of all, the fic is fully based on @lord6-6fandom 's idea. I'll include the idea at the end of the fanfic.

A Better World Pt.3

You had been at home for almost three weeks now and while you were extremely happy and could see Brienne was too, there was trauma that haunted Brienne. She didn't admit that, but you knew her and you could see it.

Often Brienne had nightmares or woke up in the middle of the night crying because she thought she was in Westeros again. It broke your heart to see her like that. So one night when you held her and dried her tears you got an idea.

"Darling, maybe you would like to see a mind healer?" Her head shoot up in confusion at that.

"What's that?"

"Well, it's kind of like a healer but for your mind. It's someone you can talk to, about your past, your trauma and your fears. They'll listen, and they know useful things to make your life easier and to help you overcome the past." You knew that you yourself could only do so much. You could strengthen her confidence and try to make her believe that she was incredible. But you could never heal her trauma or make her nightmares go away.

"Do you think that could help me?" You knew how hard it was for her to be vulnerable, so seeing the healer wouldn't be easy for her, but you really wanted her to get better.

"It won't be easy, but I believe it could help, yes." So that was how you decided to work against Brienne's problems.

The next day you talked to a mind healer about Brienne, and she agreed to see her. You knew it was better, but you still didn't like that you couldn't accompany Brienne to her sessions.

The first few times were horrible. It was the first actual fight you two had, trying to get Brienne to going to the next session. She said she hated it, she had to open up and be completely vulnerable. And as you had expected she didn't like that.

"Please Brienne, don't be so damn stubborn and go the next session." You were nearly shouting at her.

"But I don't want to. This doesn't do anything good. She just sees me in a state no one is supposed to see me in, except for you maybe."

"But that's the whole idea of it. Of course, you won't see any progress after one session. Since when are you someone to give up so fast?!" Brienne rolled her eyes at that statement.

"Why are you so keen on making me go there? It's not your "trauma"." You had tried to suppress the tears up until now. You didn't see any reason to not show her how miserable this made you feel. The tears just streamed down your cheeks. Brienne actually looked a bit shocked.

"Because, Brienne, I love you. And it breaks my heart to see you so miserably. To see you cry nearly every night and not be able to help you or make you feel any better. All I want is for you to be happy, and I really believe that this could be a good start for that." Brienne was positively speechless. She approached you and pulled you into a tight hug.

"I'm sorry, my love. I promise I will see the healer again. I shouldn't have started a fight over this."

After this fight it got better. Brienne still felt utterly uncomfortable at the beginning, but that got better with each time she went to see the healer. She started to have more trust in it and opened up more and more. It took time, a lot of time and there always were relapses where she felt worse again. But over all it got better and better.

It made your heart flutter to see your lover become happier again and to see her crying in the dark of your room at night less and less. Having come home was the best thing that ever happened to the two of you.

Thank you so much!! Means a lot🥰

I want you, just you

Pairing: Joyce Byers×OC, Robin Buckley×sister

Word count: 2601

Warnings: some smut at the end

Summary: You are Robin's older sister and friends with Steve, Jonathan and Nancy. You always hang out at Jonathans and often help Joyce cook dinner for all of you. You developed a massive crush on her and one day you ask her out on a date. Joyce knows that your gay because you helped Will with coming out to her.

A/n: So I haven't posted anything in a while and I had this fanfic in my drafts for quite a while but never got myself to finishing it. But I have a few new ideas and wanted to finish it before I start something new. So here it is. Hope you like it!♡

I Want You, Just You

"My god, just ask her out already. The worst that can happen is that she says no."

"It's not that easy Robin! What are Jonathan and Will gonna think?"

"They both love you endlessly, they won't care. They just want their mom to be happy. Asking her out won't kill you." Claire turned around and raised an eyebrow at that statement.

"Then why don't you tell Nancy how you feel about her?"

"That's totally different, she's in a relationship. You know that. Joyce is single and I don't want to listen to your sad, self pitying anymore. So. Ask. Her. Out. End of discussion." Robin grabbed her bag and left the shop.

Claire Buckley worked in a little flowershop a few houses next to the shop Joyce Byers worked in. Her shift usually ended an hour before Joyces, so she always waited for her after closing the shop and then drove her home. They knew each other through Jonathan. Claire was friends with him, Steve and Nancy. They often hung out at the Byers house and when Will also had his friends over, there were a lot of mouths to feed. So Claire often helped Joyce with cooking and making dinner ready. She loved it, just the two of them talking and laughing. Joyce knew that Claire was gay, Will accidentally told her, when he was talking about the way that Claire helped him with coming out.

Today wasn't a busy day so she closed the shop early. Before leaving she made a little bouquet out of beautiful pink-yellowish roses for Joyce.

Claire knew Robin was right, asking her out wasn't such a big deal and normally she was pretty confident in everything she did but Joyce made her legs wobbly and her heart beat so fast it felt like having a heartattack.

After closing the shop Claire walked up and down the sidewalk like an idiot in front of the shop and thought about what to say. She really didn't want to fuck this up, besides the whole crushing situation Claire really liked Joyce. She had been so accepting, when Claire came out and had always been there for her. Robin was a fabulous sister but she had her own baggage to cary with struggling and coming out. It was nice to have someone just listen to you and tell you it would all be alright. And cooking with Joyce always made her day and she enjoyed the calming effect that she had on her. After about 5 minutes of walking a hole into the sidewalk Claire entered the shop.

"Hey Joyce, it's me. I closed the shop a little earlier." Claire walked over to a free counter and sat down.

"Ah, there you are. Not much business today here either." Joyce sat down next to her and smiled at her. That bright, loving smile gave Claire some confidence.

"I brought you some flowers."

"Thank you Claire, they're beautiful. They'll get a special place at home." She smiled at the flowers and seemed to be caught up in her thoughts. It was so easy to fall in love with her, Claire thought. Or maybe that was just her opinion.

"I... I wanted to ask you something."

"Sure, what is it?" Joyce looked up to her and gave her a reassuring smile.

"Would you go on a date with me? We could go to a restaurant, or I'd cook for you." Her smile faded a bit and Claire directly hated herself for ever having asked. She stood up and walked away from the counter, the flowers still in her hand.

"Aren't I a bit too old for you?" She chuckled sarcastically. Joyce felt a wave of insecurity rush over her, she didn't think that Claire would make such a cruel joke but she doubted that she really wanted something from her. Why would she? Claires smile dropped immediately.

"I..." she had never thought about the age difference before, her concernes always lied somewhere else. The kids, her maybe not liking woman, the town gossip...

"I never thought about our age difference to be honest. It never mattered to me." Claire stood up and walked towards her, she still had her back to her but the flowers weren't in her hands anymore.

Claire slowly put a hand on Joyce's shoulder and another one on her waist. She closed her eyes and she could feel her sink into the touch and visibly relax. Joyce felt safe when Claire touched her, it wasn't something she understood but it was something she always denied herself because she never thought the feeling could be reciprocated.

Moving close to her ear with her mouth Claire whispered: "It doesn't matter, you hear me. It doesn’t change the way I feel about you and I wouldn't ask you out on a date if I didn't mean it. Believe me. So, what's your answer?" Joyce really wanted to believe her, she wanted to so bad. So she did. She risked being hurt. She was tired of denying herself basic needs.

She opened her eyes again and moved her head slightly into Claires direction. Their faces were inches away from each other.

"Okay, cook for me." Claire started smiling without even trying to and turned Joyce around. She moved her head up to look into Claire's eyes and shyly smiled at her.

"Close the shop, noone will come. And if they do, they can wait until tomorrow. I'll drive you home." She nodded and started closing.

--------------

Claire stopped the car infront of the house and as Joyce wanted to leave the car, Claire grabbed her arm. The older woman turned to look at her.

"Tomorrow, 7 o'clock?" Joyce nodded and with a smile she left the car. Claire waited until she was in the house and the door was closed. With a bright smile on her face she left, excited to tell Robin about the latest events.

"You'll never believe what just happened. I need you out of the house tomorrow." Robin hadn't even closed the door yet but Claire already threw the words at her.

"Ok, chill. I really have to pee. After that you can tell me." Claire rolled her eyes but accepted and walked back to sit down on the sofa.

Her thoughts directly wandered to Joyce, just thinking about her made her feel like a teenager again. It felt like there were thousands of butterflys in her stomach. She had never felt like this before.

"Claire? Hello, earth to Claire?!" Robin was wildly waving her hands in front of Claires face to get her attention. "So what did you want to tell me, huh?" Claire immediately started to smile like an absolute idiot.

"I did it. I asked Joyce out. And...she said yes! Can you believe it. We have a date tomorrow at 7 o'clock. I'll cook for her. That why I'll need you out of here at least until the next morning. You never now what will happen." Claire winked at her sister and smiled sheepishly.

"Well thas amazing Claire. I told you it won't be bad to ask her. Honestly if I wouldn't have forced you, you would still cry about her. So you can basically thank me."

"Oh, shut up. I would have done it sooner or later."

They both laughed. Happy to have each other and to have someone who understands them.

----------------------

"Oh. Hi, Joyce. Please come in, Claire is in the kitchen. Claire! Joyce is here. I'll leave now. Bye" with that Robin closed the door behind her and Joyce was left alone in the hallway. She didn't really know what to do so she took her jacket of and went to look for Claire. Right in that moment Claire opened a door at the other end of the hallway.

"Hello Joyce. I thought my sister would have enough manners to actually show you where the kitchen is and not just leave. Come in." Joyce stepped forward unsure how to greet Claire she just looked up at her and laughed nervously.

"Do I hug you now?" Claire let out a laugh at that.

"If you want to, then yes." So Joyce stood up on her tiptoes and hugged Claire. At that Claire felt a shiver go through her whole body. She buried her head deep in Joyce's hair and felt completely at ease for the first time in a long time.

Claire let go before it got awkward and showed Joyce the living room.

"You can sit down. I'll just grab the food real quick."

"I could help."

"No." Claire protested, "You're my guest and I'll treat you as such." With that she left the room just to come back with two bowls of food a second later.

"Mhh, that smells amazing Claire." She smiled at Joyce and they started to eat.

They talked about everything that came to mind. It felt absolutely natural and they both felt comfortable around each other. This date wasn't their last one. They met multiple times after that. Never doing much more than having dinner, talking or going to the movies. But that was fine with them. They wanted to take it slow.

----------------------

It was a cold Friday evening, Claire had cooked for Joyce again and they both sat on the couch together laughing about a story Claire had just told about her sister. Joyce laughed so sincerely that Claire just stopped and looked at her in awe. She was so damn beautiful. Without really noticing Claire got closer to Joyce. When she opened her eyes again, Claire was so close to her that she stopped laughing abruptly out of shock.

"I..., Claire what are you doing?"

"If you won't protest I would like to kiss you." Joyce eyes grew wide in shock. She guessed it was logical that all the dates would lead to this but still she wasn't sure how to feel about this. She knew that she wanted it but still she still couldn't believe that Claire was sincere in her intention.

Joyce backed away a little.

"I.., Claire if all of this. All the dates, the cooking was just to get into my pants, I can assure you there is nothing grande under those clothes. So you should search for someone your age for that." Claire felt a wave of sadness wash over her. Did Joyce actually believe that? Didn't she make clear that she liked her?

"Joyce, please listen to me." She took Joyce's hands in hers and looked at her with all the sincerity and love she had in her.

"All of the things that I did for you, all the dates we had, all the hours we sat here talking, laughing about stupid things. All of this, I did because I really like you. Because I enjoy your company. And if I wanted to kiss you or sleep with you, that's just because I think your stunning, I feel butterflys everytime I look at you and I want you. Not anyone else, just you. But if you don't want all of that. That's ok, we don't have to do this."

"But why me? I'm not special, neither me as a person nor the way I look. I'm just Joyce."

"And that's exactly what I want. You, Joyce. With all your flaws, all you fears, insecurities and problems. You are beautiful, please you have to belive me. I've had this crush on you since I've known you and it took all the courage in me to ask you out, because I thought you would never want to date me. So know that you allowed me to be such an intimate part of your life and let me get to know you even more, I want to protect you with all I have and make you understand how wonderful you are. I've realised that what I feel for you is so much more than a crush." Joyce let out a shy laugh at that and stroked a strand of hair out of Claires face.

"I don't think anyone has ever said something so beautiful to me." Claire grabbed Joyce's face and before she could overthink it, she kissed her.

It was by all means not a perfect kiss, but it was full if love and desire. It felt like all the butterflys in Claires stomach wanted to break out. And the feeling made it perfect, better than any other kiss could ever be.

Claire's hand slowly wandered down to start unbuttoning Joyce shirt. She stopped for a second to wait for consent. When Joyce slightly nodded, she took the shirt of and threw it to the floor. She pushed Joyce's hair aside and started to kiss her neckand then her shoulder. She slowly pushed Joyce down until she was laying in front of her and continued kissed her, whil slowly wandering down to her breasts.

"Take it off, take your shirt of." Claire stopped to follow Joy's request. To Joyce surprise Claire wasn't wearing a bra, so she was practically naked in front of her.

"Claire, I think you should know, that I have never slept with a woman before." Joyce looked at Claire with an apologising smile. Claire moved up and kissed Joyce passionately.

"I don't care." She grabbed her waist and pulled her closer to her. She wanted to feel all of Joyce skin on hers. Whil kissing her, her hand slowly opened Joyce pants and started to above them down a bit. She could feel Joyce lift up her hips against her. It drove her crazy how much she wanted that woman. She never thought something like this would be possible.

As the pants landed on the floor, Claire started kissing her way down Joyce's body and grabbed behind her to open the bra that was still covering Joyce's breasts. When she moved up a little to look at Joyce, she covered her body. So Claire shoved her hands away. "Don't. You look amazing. I want to see you." She started slightly kissing her breasts and took one nipple in her mouth while pinching the other one. Joyce tried to suppress a moan but failed as Claire sucked harder. "Please, I want to hear you. Let it out." At that Joyce moaned again, this time not trying to suppress anything. At that sound Claire's vagina pulsated and her whole body got goosebumps. She started wandering further down and took of the panties, that were the only item of clothing Joyce was still wearing. Joyce clenched to the cushions closest to her while Claire started kissing and licking her already wet cunt. With one hand Joyce shoved Claire deeper into her and held onto her hair. "Oh god, Claire...please" Claire stopped much to Joyce disappointment and looked up. "Please what? Use your words.", "Please I need more, please fuck me", Claire chuckled, amused by Joyce's neediness. "Your wish is my command." With that she resumed her actions but also slowly put two fingers inside her. Joyce's was already throbbing from lust. The moaning got louder and fastly turned into a kind of lustful and erotic screaming. Something Claire had never heard before but it turned her on quite alot. "Claire, please. I'm gonna come.. I...Oh god, that feels amazing." With a last loud scream Joyce came with Claires name on her lips.

Claire slowly moved up to Joyce and kissed her.

"Thank you, I never knew sex could feel like this." Claire smiled at her and stood up  she reached out for Joyce and took her to the bedroom, where they fell asleep curled up together.

could i request a brienne x reader where it’s a long while after what happened with jaime and reader comes into brienne’s life -u can decide how- and reader is sweet and really really likes brienne which is why reader is a bit clingy. brienne is understandably a little cold and has her guard up and one day lashes out at reader because they’re just gonna leave her too anyway. later she sees reader crying to pod and she feels bad and instead of her apologizing reader apologizes for pushing things and brienne feels even worse and brienne explains her actions so reader promises to never leave her. That’s all. Thank you so much!!

AGHHH Ure Literally My Favourite Writer On Here Right Now!! U Write So Amazingly!!

Brienne had been part of Bran Starks Kingsguard for nearly two years now, and she was very happy that Podrick had been knighted and taken in the Kingsguard as well. Even if she would never admit it she would have missed him terribly. Other than her, Podrick was really open towards new people and always found new friends.

And one day he introduced Brienne to you. She felt that she was instantly drawn to you, but she forbid herself to ever feeling something like that. She didn't want it to go downhill, just like it did with Jamie.

You however, also felt drawn to her and acted on it. A lot. You loved spending time with her. Watching her fight was your favourite thing. Whenever you saw her walk around you accompanied her. Grabbing her arm and happily telling her about your day.

Sure you had noticed her coldness and that she had her guards up at all time. But you didn't take it personally and thought she just needed some time warming up. You never knew how she was treated in her live. Not just the Jamie-thing but also the general resentment people had against her. For you it was unthinkable that anyone could not like her.

You tried everything to warm her up and to look through her guard. You gifted her flowers, you invited her and Pod for dinner, you asked her to accompany you in the city. Most of the time she said no, but sometimes you felt you broke through to her, and she said yes. Still you wouldn't tire and try again and again.

You really thought you were making progress until one day everything went wrong.

It was such a beautiful and warm day, and you had woken up with the idea in your head to ask Brienne put for a picnic. Who could say no to a picnic?

So you prepared everything and went to search for her. Your heart made jumps as you saw her, as an exception not in armour. So you happily approached her and looped your arm through hers. You felt her tense at that, so you respected the boundary and took a step back. But the smile didn't fade. You still beamed at her.

"Brienne, I thought it would be the perfect day for a picnic? Would you like to accompany me? Pod could also come if you'd like." You saw her look annoyed at that and already braced yourself for the coming rejection but what came next was something you never expected.

"No, (Y/n). I do not want to go on a picnic with you. Could you please stop annoying me all the time? I know you're just going to leave me anyway. So stop bothering and let me be." You had never heard her getting so loud and harsh. For a second you didn't even know what to say. But as you felt the tears prick in your eyes you mumbled out an apology and turned around on the heel. So no picnic.

---------------

You didn't even know where to go. The tears were now streaming down your face like a waterfall. Your first thought was Pod. So you went to find him.

"(Y/n), what has happened?" Podrick pulled you into a hug and sat you down next to him. You cried his whole shirt wet. But he didn't care.

"I- I thought I was breaking through with Brienne. It seemed like she wasn't as cold anymore, but I just asked her out on a picknick, and she completely lashed out. What have I done wrong? Why does she hate me Pod?" Pod looked at you empathically.

"I'm sure she doesn't hate you. She's just been hurt a lot and doesn't trust easily. It's hard for her to express her feelings."

"No, I pushed her too much. I'm sure she hates me now." You clung to Pods shirt and cried even more. What neither of you knew was that Brienne had also wanted to talk to Pod, and she had heard your conversation. She felt bad. Really bad. She didn't hate you, and she never wanted to be so harsh. She was just scared.

"(Y/n), I-" She came around the corner and in less than a second you were on you feet. Starting to ramble an apology.

"I'm sorry, Brienne. I shouldn't have been so pushy. You clearly aren't interested, and I should have accepted that." More tears fell down your cheeks, you couldn't even stop them.

Brienne took a step forward and against all her instincts she grabbed your hands and sat down with you. Podrick slowly left you to alone, knowing that you really needed to talk. Alone.

"There is no need for you to apologise, (Y/n). I am the one who should apologise. I had no right to shout at you and get so loud. I don't hate you. I really don't, please never think that. I just... In the past I have been hurt, a lot. From my childhood on people have called me names, made fun of me, bullied me or called me 'Brienne the Beauty'. Of course that was a joke. But because of that I have always been very reserved and, quite frankly, alone. But a few years ago I fell in love. For the first time ever I trusted someone, and I was instantly hurt. He left me for someone else and died protecting the Queen. After that I swore myself to never trust anyone again. I would be hurt sooner or later." To be honest, you were shocked. It had never occurred to you that Brienne could not be liked, that she could have even been bullied and called names. To you she was just perfect. And you told her that.

"I'm so sorry, Brienne. I didn't know any of that. I can't believe people are so cruel. But I can promise you: I will never leave you. To me, you are perfect and amazing. There is nothing about you to make fun of. Each little part and thing about you makes you special. Every flaw, every imperfection, every insecurity." You warmly smiled at her and stroked over her hands. Your tears long forgotten.

"Thank you, so much." Brienne tightly hugged you and even though it still took some time for her to fully grasp it all, she started to trust you more and more. And she even learned to get used to the physical touch.
