Drunken Kiss

Pairing: Brienne of Tarth × Reader

Word count: 1252

Warnings: None

Summary: You drunkenly kissed Brienne and in the morning she isn't there anymore.

Drunken Kiss

You woke up expecting an arm around your body and the comfort of someone else's body heat next to yours. But neither was there, so you slowly turned around to look next to you. Empty. Noone was there. A slight spark of panic flodded through you. You told yourself it was probably nothing. She just needed some air or someone needed her help. But still the panic didn't really leave, maybe she left you. But why, you thought she liked you?

Slowly you stood up to get dressed and left your quarters. After having had a very fast breakfast whilst standing in the kitchen, because you couldn't be bothered to sit down properly, you left to search for her. You wandered around the halls, went looking for her in her quarters but she was nowhere to be found. Except maybe the training ground.

As you laid eyes on her fighting with a man twice as tall as her, which was quite hard considering her height, you instantly relaxed. She didn't leave without saying goodbye. But still the question as to why she wasn't there when you woke up was left unanswered.

You sat down on a rock next to the training ground and watched her. Something you could do the whole day, and often you did. You weren't one to use a sword, you couldn't even lift it. But you admired her strength and the beauty she carried while fighting, she always carried it but you felt it was more prominent when fighting. You assumed that was because she had a deep passion and understanding for it.

Upon finishing and spotting you her face turned into an expression you had never seen on her face. A mix of guilt, hurt and sadness. It broke your heart to see her like that. And as she wanted to turn and leave you again you jumped up on your feet and followed her.

"Brienne! Wait." She didn't stop and it was quite hard for you to catch up on her due to you having much shorter legs. But you did catch up and grabbed her wrist to stop her. She turned around, quite, not saying a word simply waiting for you to talk.

"You weren't there when I woke up this morning." It wasn't a question, nor an accusation. It was simply a statement.

"That is correct, my lady." You hated that she called you that, how often had you told her to call you (Y/n).

"Why? I missed your warmth, I got cold." You added the last part with a shyer and quieter voice. Still Brienne heard it and directly blushed at your comment.

"I.., my lady. I wanted to spare you of having to tell me that you regret it and that you could never like someone like me." Your eyes widened, what was she talking about?

"But why would I tell you that, Brienne? I was the one who kissed you and I asked you to lay in bed with me."

"You were drunk, that doesn't count. You didn't know what you were doing."

"Oh, I very well knew what I was doing." You grabbed her face, stod up on your tiptoes and kissed her. It wasn't a long kiss but you hoped it was enough.

"Now, does it count." Brienne was too perplexed to say anything, she just blushed and looked at you in shock.

"Lady (Y/n), your father would like to talk to you." Quite annoyed that you were being disturbed you turned around and told the man you would come in a minute.

"Come to my quarters this evening after dinner. We can talk then." With that you turned around and left a completely confused Brienne standing on the training ground.

--------------

You had just come back from dinner when you heard a nock on your door. You went to open it and looked at Brienne. She was still in her armour but the dirt and sweat from fighting was washed away.

"Please, come in." You closed the door behind her and followed her inside. You smiled at her reassuringly and gently started to untie her armour.

"What are you doing?" You looked at her and smiled.

"Well, I'm untying your armour. It doesn't seem very comfortable nor appropriate for this conversation." She slightly nodded and let you resume. Slowly the armour went off and wandered onto your chair. When you were finished, you looked her up and down but upon seeing that it made her uncomfortable and that she tried to hide her body somehow you stopped and looked her directly in the eyes.

"You're so tall." You just had to look at her whole body again, you couldn't resist.

"It's quite..."

"Disgusting.", "Attractive." You both said that at the same time and after having heard what the other said you both looked equally confused. You grabbed her at her sides, leaded her towards your bed and sat her down in front of you so that you could look her in the eyes without looking up.

"Listen to me very carefully now, ok? I know that your whole life people have made you believe that you are too tall, not pretty enough, not feminine enough, that you should act more like a lady, that you aren't enough of a lady and so much more. But I want you to know, and that is all that you should care about, that from the very first time I have laid my eyes on you I have been mesmerised by your beauty, your strength and yes, also your height. I don't watch you training everyday because I like the man you train. I do it because of you. You carry such grace and beauty while fighting. And to me there is no one more beautiful than you." Brienne tried to hide her immense blushing through looking to the floor but you tenderly tilted her chin up and looked her directly in the eyes. Seeing her like this, the only word that came to mind was adorable. Because it truly was.

"No, please never hide anything from me. Not even your blushing." You smiled at her, grabbed her face in between your hands and kissed her. Gently and long, not short and rushing like the one this morning. Not drunk and clumsy like the one last night. It was full of all the love you had for her, all the admiration you felt for her. Gently you started untying her shirt but she stopped you half way through.

"I.., I have never slept with anyone in my life before. No one ever wanted to come that close to me."

"It's alright. We don't have to do anything, if you don't want to. Tell me what you want and we'll do it." You put a strand of hair out of her face and behind her ear while patiently waiting for her answer.

"Can we just lay here, together?" With the warmest smile you could produce you nodded and climbed into bed with her. She embraced you completely and you felt safer than you had ever before.

"Did you really mean all of that? You really weren't joking, were you?" You started to plant gentle kisses all over her arms and hands and felt her visibly relax.

"No, I wasn't joking. I would never hurt you in any way. I meant it all and I will continue telling you until you belive me. If I have to everyday for the rest of our lifes."

Protecting Brienne

Pairing: Brienne of Tarth x Reader

Word Count: 914

Warning: some swearing, that's all

My Christmas Present to all of you, love you!

A/n: So this is my first ever request, I really hope you liked it and that I did your idea justice!! It's a bit shorter than my usually stuff, I hope you don't mind. @pastanest

Protecting Brienne
Protecting Brienne

You were walking through the camp the soldiers had built just a few hours ago, talking to Brienne. You were always quite fond of her coming to these things, even though it also meant you'd be immensely scared for her whenever she went out to fight. You knew she was great at fighting, but maybe, someday there'd be someone better than her.

But you didn't want to think about that now. At the moment you just enjoyed talking to her and making her laugh. Considering she rarely laughs a real, deep laugh. But the chuckles and smiles you got out of her were enough for you to be happy. So when she stopped smiling and looked a little uneasy, you directly noticed and tried to find out what the reason for that was.

At first, you hadn't heard it, but after you had stopped talking you heard it very clearly. A few soldiers, standing in front of their tent, looked at you disgustedly and didn't even try to hide that they were talking shit about Brienne.

You directly walked towards them and even though they were much taller than you, nearly as tall as Brienne, you weren't scared of them and stood your ground.

"What did you just say?" You looked up at them with hatred in your eyes.

"I said, that this monster there," he pointed at Brienne, "shouldn't be allowed to fight with us. Not just that she's a woman, but she's a disgusting one as well." He looked at his friends and grinned stupidly, like he was proud of what he said, like it was the most innovative thing. Even though it was the most uncreative, stupid bullshit you had ever heard.

"I'm sorry?! That "monster" as you call her, has a name. Her name is Brienne, and I swear to the old and the new gods, if you say one more thing about her, you will not see the sun rise again. Ever. Is that clear?" He just laughed. You knew it was probably because you were a woman, and you were so much smaller, but you were fierce.

"You think that's funny?"

Brienne still stood a few steps behind you and just looked at you shocked, it was hard wrapping her head around the whole situation.

"(Y/n), I think that's enough. Let's go."

"Look, poor Brienne is scared. Yeah, let's go (Y/n)." the guy looked at you mockingly. But you didn't think of it as funny at all.

"Fuck you. Brienne is a better and truer knight and soldier than any of you could ever be. She is stronger, better, faster and definitely more fearless. I swear, if you don't stop laughing." You took a step forward and for a split second it actually looked like the guy flinched. You were ready to risk it all.

But in the same second that you back out to punch him, you feel strong hands grab your waist from behind and pick you up. Brienne had enough of this nonsense. She threw you over her shoulder and left.

"Let. Me. Down. Brienne!" You hit her on her back and kicked your feet wildly through the air, but nothing helped. She was strong and determined. The laughing in the background just made you even angrier.

She carried you into her tent and let you down inside. Knowing you fairly well, she knew you'd try to escape, so she blocked the entrance and held you back as you tried to run her down. Unsuccessfully. Of course.

"Why did you do that?" That's when you stopped your wild movements and unsuccessful attempts to escape. That was a stupid question. Why would you not defend her.

Still in rage you answered: "Because I love you, obviously, now if you'll just let me pass my fist has an important appointment with that fucker's jaw, and it cannot be missed...why do you look so confused?"

"What do you mean, you love me?"

"Well, I don't really know what's not to understand about that. I mean I put it quite simple, didn't I? I. Love. You. The only other way to say this would probably be that I'm in love with you. But that doesn't quite put it right, I feel like that makes it sound like I'm still a teenager that..." you couldn't go on, because you suddenly felt lips crash onto yours. Brienne easily picked you up, and you instinctively wrapped your arms around her neck and your legs around her torso. She moved away from the entrance and sat you down on her desk.

Against all your wishes you broke the kiss and looked at Brienne.

"You really didn't know, did you? I kind of assumed you knew and just wanted to take it slow. But considering what just happened I don't think you want to take it slow."

Brienne had to laugh at that, a shy, flustered laugh. But a real one. A true one.

"No, I didn't know. How would I? You never said anything? I don't just go around assuming people love me. I'm used to assuming the opposite." You smiled at her apologetic.

"Well, I thought it was quite obvious. I think you are just really oblivious. But I like that, just like I like the rest of you. All of it." You gently caressed her cheek and pulled her closer again. This kiss felt less passionate and less stormy but for sure neither less true nor real than the one before.

i love her so much u don't understand

Brienne x gender neutral!reader

A/N: if you’re wondering why I’m having to repost this, or why you were perhaps previously following me but no longer are, please refer to this post

Brienne X Gender Neutral!reader

Brienne x short!S/O

- so given that in the show Brienne is a staggering 6’3, the majority of the population will be dwarfed by her unless they have some giant’s blood

- however, people who are already deemed short by the rest of the world (dont bother standing up, we wont be seen ✌🏻😔), are PARTICULARLY short in comparison to Lady Brienne of Tarth

- while Brienne makes a point to not judge people on their physical appearances, as so many have done so harshly to her, she does notice your height or lackthereof

- and as much as she tries her hardest to not make any assumptions about you, she cannot help the natural protective instinct through which she views you as maybe just a little more fragile than she is

- but she would never tell you that

- until you are married or something probably

- Brienne has never spent so much time so close with someone of your stature and she admires the ways in which you have adapted the world around you to meet your needs. your ability to climb and reach things that she can grab with minimal effort, the length of time you can spend on your tiptoes to see over things that are in your way, how quickly you can find a solution to the problems your height presents to you

- she admires your resilience and finds it very endearing, she could watch you climb things all day if it werent for her instinctive response of grabbing whatever you need to prevent the risk of you falling a single inch life or death to you let’s be real

- while out with her and Podrick, with an established friendship, Pod jokes about how different your view of the world must be from Brienne’s and that you should get on her shoulders to see the world on a whole new level

- and Brienne is so game bc tysm Podrick for giving her an excuse to lift you up tytyty she is forever in your debt and will never snap at you ever again

- she is so gentle when she does lift you up, acutely aware of how big her hands are on your body as she places you on a high enough tree stump for you to then climb on her shoulders

- you are literally up there for 4 seconds before your fear of heights kicks in and you are begging to be back on ground level lol

- and Brienne is all 🥺🥺🥺 omg did not mean to scare u bb

- but then you express how beautiful the world must be to her, seeing so much of it like she can all the time, and that every time you look at her you’ll remember the glimpse you got into her world and needless to say she is just IN LOVE

- but let’s not get it twisted, just because you’re short DOES NOT MEAN you will not go feral if someone tries to hurt Brienne with words or violence

- you’ll go ham in your own way. like an angry rodent

- and it doesnt matter that 99% of the time Brienne grabs you before you can commit any crimes and you are left a flailing ball of small limbs in her arms that are barely even trying to hold you back, it’s the sentiment

- as the two of you get closer, Brienne only grows more protective of you

- and if you think she’ll tolerate other people making jokes at the expense of your height, you’d probably better check the pile of bodies with sword-shaped stab wounds on the boat sailing out to sea

- once your friendship transcends into a romantic relationship, the height-related petnames come in

- Brienne cant help herself from calling you “little one”, “little love”, “little dove”, “little angel”, you are too precious to her in every possible way

- your knightly lady will take ANY excuse to swing you up into her arms and carry you around

- and she loves nothing more than holding you as you drift off to sleep, completely shielding you from all harm and keeping you warm from even the harshest winter

- but she also treasures the nights when you hold her, your smaller hands drawing gentle patterns on the side of her face and running through her hair as she rests her head against your chest, feeling safe and secure and loved in ways that only you have ever made her feel

- overall, she would love you no matter your height, but when you look up at her from your place approximately 4 inches from the ground, she knows there a few things she could adore more

Ocean Eyes (Brienne of Tarth x Female!reader)

Snow... Snow was eveywhere, it made you think of what is to come and what was. but mostly about those ocean eyes, that has seen so much death.

You have known brienne for sometime now, having traveled with her for sometime together with the sweet boy pod. You talked for so long togehter, pob even helping you swordfight. You have learned much from him, what you heard from brienne herself he grew so much over the couple of years.

Sitting by the red tree, at least that is how you called it, looking at the frozen pond as snow began to pile up on your head. You have been sitting there for a while now, thinking, your hands red and nose red as well. The cold slowly getting to you, the big fur cape helping you keep warm.

Slowly looking up snow still falling, your breath being seen in this cold weather. "(Name)?" A soft whisper called your name out in the cold air, the snow crunching underneed thier footsteps. "Hello Tyrion." Slowly you lowered your head to the man standing at the other side of the pond. "What is it that you need, my lord?"

You where not in for a long talk, you just want to go back to thinking in your head. "What is on your mind? You seem to be back here almost everyday. It worries me." A small smile came to your face, you sometimes forget that he was such a good friend of yours. "I have been thinking, with the fight coming up, what I want to do before I may die..." "(Name)! Do not say that! You will come out of this in one piece!"

You chuckled shacking your head, as you stood up, brushing the snow from your legs. "You don't know that Tyrion, I'm not that good with a sword. I'm great with bow and arrow, but that's it, but that will not help me if I run out of arrows." You walked around the pond to his side, a small sad smile on your lips. "Lets get you inside, your lips are blue." Tyrion took your hand, softly pulling you back to the towers. "(Name), promise me you fight to life and not just to fight."

You stopped walking, your hand falling out of his, stairing out infrond of you. That made your really think for what you where fighting for, what made you want to survive that night. There they where again, those ocean eyes making your mind swim with the adoration for her. "Brienne..." "What?"

Looking down at Tyrion, he looked straight back at you. "I fight to surive the night so I can see Brienne again." A small smile came to Tyrions lips as he grab your hand once again walking of to the towers, as the ocean eyes keep hunting your mind.

Once inside, Tyrion left your to your thoughts once more. Slowly you warmed up again, as you keep on stairing into the flames, trying to figure out your mind. Once warmed up, you put your cloak back on and went outside once more. Walking over the wall you looked down at the training grounds. Men where fighting one and other, you should be down there training but knowing yourself, you would space out and get hit by a sword.

It made you chuckle, as you looked on as people trained. Then there where they again, those ocean eyes talking to Jaime. Brienne was talking to Jaime, one of the best swordsmen in the army they have. You didn't feel jelous you felt happy, you where happy that they where getting along for once. A song sprang to your head as Brienne looked up at you. A small smile pulled at her lips, making you smile back.

Once she looked away, you shoftly begin to sing. "I've been watchin' you for some time. Can't stop staring at those ocean eyes. Burning cities and napalm skies. Fifteen flares inside those ocean eyes.... Your ocean eyes." Your voice rang through the air, to soft to be heard by brienne and the other soldiers but for those on the wall, who was no one, could hear it.

"(Name)?" Tyrion came to check up on you but saw you where gone again. "I can't leave t-" Looking out of the window seeing you ontop of the wall looking over it, seeming to talk to yourself. As you looked up at the sky, a softly laugh left your lips. It was more of a sad one, then a happy one it was even proven so as a tear left your eye. "No fair. You really know how to make me cry. When you give me those ocean eyes. I'm scared. I've never fallen from quite this high. Falling into your ocean eyes. Those ocean eyes."

Trailing alone the wall, not looking back at brienne as you sigh, wipping away your tear. Sansa and Daenerys walked outside, Jon snow soon following after them. When Daenerys looked up and see her friend walking over the wall seeing you wipe away your tear. Worry took over but seeing Tyrion walk up to you a bit of her worry fade away.

"(Name)?! Why can't I leave you alone for two seconds?!" Hearing your sad chuckle, made him look up in your eyes. "I've been walking through a world gone blind. Can't stop thinkin' of your diamond mind. Careful creature made friends with time. You left her lonely with a diamond mind. And those ocean eyes." Her soft song made him realise what she was singing about. "(Name) go talk to her, you need to tell her. T-"

"I can't! It will not tell her, it will only weigh her down. And it seems she likes sir' Jaime look at her." A grin came to your face, you turned to look over the wall again looking at the training ground. Tyrion softly sigh taking hold of your hand rubbing the back of your hand, softly asking to continue the song.

"No fair. You really know how to make me cry. When you give me those ocean eyes. I'm scared.I've never fallen from quite this high. Falling into your ocean eyes. Those ocean eyes." Not being able to look at Brienne, your ripped your hand out of Tyrions and rushed of to somewhere els. "Dammit (Name)!" Hearing your name being called in to the cold air made Brienne look up at the wall seeing you dissapear out of sight.

The door slammed shut, as you stood infrond of the fire, crying into one of your hands. Those ocean eyes made you think of them maybe falling shut forever this coming fight. Not seeing them again, not seeing the spark of joy in them, or even sadness. It made you sick, sick to think about not seeing her again, alive and well. You just didn't know what to do anymore.

Brienne made her way up the stairs as she saw Tyrion standing there, worry in his eyes as he looked around for you. "My lord, what happend? Where is (Name)?" A small growl left his lips, running his gloved hand through his hair. "We where talking about something, she got angry and rushed off. I'm trying to find her." "What where you talking about?" Silents hang in the air for a few seconds, unsure if he should be trueful. "You... We where talking about you." Her brows frown, unsure if she heard him right. "Pardon me? You where talking about me?"

Slowly you stopped crying, as you has your cheeks began to hurt as did your eyes. You felt like a child, crying over your stupid feelings. "I'm such a child." Looking over to the window, you sigh running a hand through your hair, letting it fall in your face. "I fight for you tonight, Brienne of Tarth. For I love you, and i will till I die." You whispered into the empty room, still seeing your own breath leave your mouth.

Tyrion and Brienne where looking around for you as they bump into Sansa, Daenerys and Jon. "My lady's, my lord, have you seen (Name)?" Sansa nob, a frown on her face. "Yes why?" "(Name) ran of. I may have made them angry or something." "I saw (Name) run of to the more far of rooms. Let us join, I'm worried for my friend." Deanerys said, already beginning to lead them to where she saw you last.

"Why where you two talking about me?" "(Name) loves you." Brienne stopped walking, shock run through her body. "Me? A beast like me? A woman like me?" Tyrion sigh, shacking his head. "(Name) doesn't care about how you look, she cares for you because despite every man or woman trying to bring you down, you still continue to be yourself. You're stand fast, you fight for the once you are loyal to. And that is what (name) loves about you." Brienne frown as she quickly walked of to find you, she needed to talk to you, she want to hear it from you. Those words that Tyrion said, she hoped they where true, she didn't believe them unless she hears them from you.

Moving over to the window, you look out over the sky as the last part of the song sprang to your head. "Why not..." You took a deep breath slowly sing the last part. "No fair. You really know how to make me cry. When you give me those ocean eyes." Your voice seem to be so loud in Briennes ears when she heard it, your voice brought a heavy feel to it. "I found them." Deanerys softly whispered, as she slightly opened the door. There you where stairing out of the window, softly singing the last part of the song.

Deanerys pulled brienne to the door opening it more, But brienne stopped her. "What do you think your doing, your grace?" "You need to talk to (Name), tell them at least something." Slowly brienne entered the room as you kept on singing. "I'm scared. I've never fallen from quite this high. Falling into your ocean eyes." Slowly turning around you saw those ocean eyes staring back into your own (c/e) eyes, your eyes widen. Stepping back you whispered out the last line of the song. "Those ocean eyes." It was silent for a few seconds, none moved or said anything.

Brienne took a step to you but you quickly stepped back. "Can we talk, (Name)? I heard from sir' Tyrion, that you had feelings for me." Your eyes widen, looking over at the door seeing Tyrion looking at you with an apologetic look. With out saying anything, you turned and stormed out. "(Name)!" You didn't listen you wanted out of there, you thoughed you could trust Tyrion, but it seems like you couldn't.

Hearing her footsteps run after you, you turned a corner trying to run faster. But a hand wrap around your arm, stopping you in your tracks. "Please, (Name) listen to me, are the words sir Tyrion told me true?" Looking up at her, you saw the doubt swim in her eyes, she was so insecure about herself but hearing those words from Tyrion, made her hope. "I don't know what he told you b-"

"He-he told me you... you see me as me. That you don't care about how I look. You care for me because I'm stand fast and that I-I-I.." Softly you placed your hand ontop of hers that was still holding on to your arm. "I love you for you, not for your looks, even if you are so beautiful in my eyes, I love you because your a strong woman who does what she has to do and what she wants to do. I-I-I... I love you because I love all of you!"

Tears fell from your eyes as you looked up at her, scared you may have scared her with your words. But surprise arose to your mind when tears appeared in Brienne eyes, as they fell on top of your cheeks as she was towering over you. Her hand fell from your arm as your hand fell to your side. "I-I-I'm sorry! I should have just kept m-" Briennes lips crashed into yours slightly pushing you back into the wall, you quickly kissed back, her lips felt so soft against yours. Quickly standing on your tiptoes trying to make it easy for her, still brienne had to hang over you.

Softly pulling away from one another, both of you being sort on breath, as you stared in the other ones eyes. "I love you." Brienne whispered back to you, her breathing still short but fast. "I have for a while, but you always seem to drift off in your head. So disconnected from the world that you seem to not care for anyone in the world." Shacking your head you wrap your arms around her midsection, the armor may be uncomfortable but you didn't care. This moment seems to be fake, a dream to be popped at any moment.

"I'm an airhead, but I do care for a lot of poeple, I may not show it much but I do. I'm just scared to get hurt and have my feeling made fun of." That made Brienne kiss you again, making you realize this was not dream, she was here in front of you, kissing you, pressing you up against a wall. Brienne pulled back, a small smile on her lips that reached her eyes, she looked so beautiful like this in the dim light. "Don't worry, i would never hurt you, nor your feelings. I love you, (full name)." Smiling up at her, throwing your arms around her shoulders as you stood on your tiptoes.

"And I you, Brienne of Tarth. and I you..." You whispered back.

Dancing in the Dark

Pairing: Brienne of Tarth x Reader

Word Count: 1419

Warnings: none

Summary: You ask Brienne out for a dance. She doesn't take it very well.

A/n: So now that I've got that draft posted, I can start working on your request @pastanest!!

Dancing In The Dark

Yet again you sat on a rock just by the training ground. You were mesmerised by the way Brienne fought the men, by the way she held the sword and made the fighting look like a dance. It was a special dance, one that no one else could dance with such grace, with such beauty. You knew not many thought of Brienne as beautiful, because she didn’t fit the beauty standard of Westeros. She was taller than any woman you had ever laid eyes on, and she didn’t exactly stand for femininity. But that didn’t matter to you. The way you felt about her, it was something you had never felt before with anyone.

As you looked up from the book you were reading to look at her, you found her eyes already on you. She smiled at you, it was a smile most people probably wouldn’t understand as one. But you did, it was reserved just for you. You smiled back at her and suddenly felt enough courage to ask her what you had wanted to ask her for the last week.

You packed your book away and walked over to her.

“Brienne, do you have a moment?“ she looked up at you and put her sword back into her scabbard. You walked a few steps past her and turned around to look at her.

„Come, walk a bit with me.“ she followed you, and quietly you walked to your favourite tree. You had seen it grow since you were little, and slowly it became a big tree, that was a great source of shadow on a hot summer day. You stopped and leaned on the tree.

“How can I help you, my princess?” You smirked at her stubbornness. Whatever you did, she never called you by your name. It annoyed you, yes. But it was cute, so you didn’t mind.

“Your princess,”, you mocked her, “would like to ask you something.” Brienne nodded slightly.

“Have you heard about the dance my father is hosting?”

“Yes, I have heard of it. But I don’t plan to attend it.” You were sad to hear that, but were sure that you could change her mind.

“Why not?”

“I don’t have a partner for it and I know that no one wants me there.” It broke your heart to hear her say something like that.

“Well, I would want you there. Will you go to the dance with me?”

Brienne took a step back and her face suddenly changed from relaxed to pure discomfort. Her posture stiffened, and she looked down at you with shock in her face.

“(Y/n) I really thought you were different. I won’t fall for this, you’re just gonna stand me up.” With that Brienne turned around and left.

“Brienne, wait. I don’t…” she ignored you and honestly you didn't have the energy to follow after her. Your legs were much shorter and it would have taken all your energy.

——————————

It had been three days since you asked Brienne to the dance, the dance which was today. You had decided, much to your sisters despair, that you wouldn’t go. Brienne was the only one you would have gone with. If you went alone, all the princes your dad had invited would try to seduce you, and it would be unbearable. So, you just didn’t go. You stayed in your room the whole day, not wanting to meet your sister. Knowing that she would just try to get you to going to the dance, you could easily do without that conversation.

In the evening after everyone had left for the ball, and you felt that you could wander through the halls without meeting people all the time, you left your room. For about half an hour you just walked around until you sat down in the courtyard. It was a clear night and there were many stars in the sky. They probably formed all sorts of star signs, but that was your brother's speciality not yours. You were better with books and knew a lot about different flowers and their effects.

Suddenly someone sat down next to you, you hadn’t even heard them coming.

“You’re not at the dance, my lady.” You recognised the voice as Brienne’s. She had such a calm and soothing voice, you would recognise it everywhere. Normally it brought you comfort, but now it felt like a stab in the heart.

“No, I’m not.” Your voice was cold. Colder than you had wanted it to be.

“Why not, my lady? I assume there were plenty of suitors for you.” You looked at her and chuckled. But it was not out of amusement but rather out of disbelieve. She really didn’t get it. “Well, the only person I would have gone with said no. So I didn’t feel like going on my own.”

Brienne looked at you for a second, and then she looked into the stars again. Even if you were hurt and even a little pissed at her behaviour you had to admit that she looked beautiful in the moonlight. And the sight of her here, not in armour but simply in her most natural form, reminded you again why you had fallen in love with her.

"I'm sorry, that he did that to you."

"You really don't get it, do you?"

She looked at you, utterly confused.

"I don't think I can follow my lady."

"My god, Brienne. Stop calling me that. I've told you so many times."

You jumped up on your feet and just stared at Brienne for a second, not really knowing what you actually wanted to tell her now. The truth, yes. But she would never believe you.

“Ah, Brienne. I'm sick of this dancing around each other and ignoring each other. I’m very well aware of the fact that you will probably not believe a word of what I’m about to say. But I don’t know how to make you believe. So I’ll just spit it out. I’m in love with you. There, now you know it. This is most definitely not how I wanted to tell you, but I can’t do this anymore. You were the only person I would have attended the ball with and you let me standing under that tree like an idiot because you can’t believe that anyone could ever love you. I understand that you’ve been hurt in your life, many times. But I thought we trusted each other, enough for you to know that I would never joke about you like that. And I could have lived with you not wanting to go with me and ignoring me afterwards, if I knew that you didn’t like me. But you do. I know you do.” Brienne was blushing like an idiot and was quite happy for the darkness around her for covering it up a bit.

“How…”

“Oh come on, I’m not an Idiot. I see the way you look at me, the way you smile when I enter the room and the way your voice softens when you talk to me, the way you visibly relax, when around me.”

Brienne saw a lonely tear fall down your cheek. You had never seen her stand up and rush towards you so fast. She dried the tear and looked at you apologetic.

“I’m sorry I brought you so much hurt and sadness.”

“Oh stop, you have brought me so much more. So much joy, laughter, love and memories. I will always thank you for that. And even if you don’t see it. I see so much beauty in you. To me there is no one like you.”

“But you’re the princess, I’m a female knight, neither am I what people expect a knight to be like nor am I what people expect a lady to be like. No one would accept it.”

“You said it yourself. I’m a princess. I do whatever I want. Now, will you dance with me?”

You laid your arms around her neck and gently put your head on her breast. You melted in to her touch and let her lead you.

She placed a kiss on your hair and whispered something in your ear:

“I love you (Y/n).”

With a smile on your face you danced around the courtyard and didn’t stop until your feet started to hurt because of the heels. But even then you didn’t stop, you just took them off, making you even smaller next to Brienne, and kept on dancing in the dark.

Don't leave me

Pairing: Brienne of Tarth x Reader

Word Count: 863

Warning: Angst, talking about possible death

Prompt: "Quit looking at me like that." / "Like what?" / "Like you're never going to see me again."

Don't Leave Me

You knew the day would come. It was inevitable and still you had hoped it would come. That time would somehow be kind, just this once and would stop. That the good times could last.

But waking up every day in a camp full of soldiers preparing to fight made it more real. You couldn't deny it anymore, and you became more and more scared with every day. Scared that one day you'd wake up and Brienne would tell you that she has to leave to fight.

This morning it had happened.

---------------------

It was a morning like all the others. You had woken up, gotten ready and left your tent to find Brienne and have breakfast with her. You had walked through the camp, greeting some people you knew and looked at the ones getting ready to say their goodbyes with pity in your eyes.

War wasn't something nice. All the men always said it was necessary, it was honourable to fight in this war. But you could see how it was honourable to leave your family and die for something you didn't even really believe in, for something that didn't affect you. For the king's will.

Standing in front of Brienne's tent you had tried to push the bad feeling away and think optimistically. You had entered with a big smile on your face, ready to greet tour favourite person. The person you loved, even though you had never built up the courage to tell her. But the second you had laid your eyes on her, you knew. The day had come.

She stood in full armour, that wasn't something she normally did until after breakfast. She looked at you with an apologetic smile. She knew you dreaded this day, but she couldn't change it. She had sworn an oath, and she took those very seriously. You knew that and you respected that.

But having to let someone you love go, into possible death still wasn't easy. No matter the reasons.

You could stop your eyes getting watery. You didn't even know what to say. You just stood there. Looking at her, more scared than you had ever been in your whole life.

"Quit looking at me like that."

"Like what?"

"Like you're never going to see me again."

You let out a slight, pathetic laugh at that. It immediately turned into sobs and Brienne was at your side in a second. She pulled you in a hug and embraced you fully.

"B-… But what if I don't. What if you won't come back?" You pushed her away a little to look up at her.

"Shush, don't say that. I will come back. You know how good I am." She pulled you back into the hug and held you until the tears stopped coming.

Brienne bad still prepared breakfast, so you sat down and ate. But it was different than usual. It wasn't filled with laughter or happiness. It felt like a farewell. It felt like you should have fun, if she wasn't to come back you didn't want your last time together to have been this. This sadness. But you just couldn't help yourself. You weren't able to even smile. A few times a tear slipped down your cheek again, but you immediately dried it. You didn't want to cry again.

After breakfast, you accompanied Brienne to her horse and watched her prepare the last bits for the fight. Right before she left, she turned around once more and hugged you again and in that moment you wanted to tell her everything you felt for her. But no words came out. You couldn't talk.

So you pulled her down, stood up on your tiptoes and kissed her. You hoped that the kiss showed her what you felt. What she meant to you. That you loved her. With all your heart.

You broke the kiss of and watched her get on the horse without saying anything as she turned her head one last time, you would have sworn that you saw a tear roll down her cheek.

With a last wave of your hand she left. You turned around, went to Brienne's tent and the second you closed the curtains behind you the most gut-wrenching sob left you mouth.

-----------------------

In the night, when you were already sleeping the soldiers and knights came back. A lot wounded, even more dead.

Your sleep wasn't very deep, you had fallen asleep crying. Exhausted from all the sobs, not having eaten anything but breakfast. So when you heard someone enter the tent you woke up right away.

You were really too exhausted to be alarmed. You really didn't care.

But when you looked closer you recognise the figure. You jumped up and threw yourself around her neck.

And the sobbing started again. But this time it was out of relief and happiness.

You felt strong arms wrap around your waist and pull you closer.

"Please never leave me again. I can't do this, I was so worried." You tried to form a coherent sentence through all your crying.

"I won't, Darling. I'll stay with you. I promise."

"I love you, Brienne. More than anything."

Hi!! I wanted to request something for Brienne. I was gonna try and write it since a friend and I have been talking about it, but I’m simply not as good as you 🥹

Basically a love triangle with reader, Brienne, and Jaime. Reader has feelings for Brienne but everyone has been pointing out how Jaime and Brienne would be a good couple so reader just distances themselves and Brienne notices, thinking that reader is done putting up with her and doesn’t really like her so she confronts them and leads to reader confessing and stuff. And Brienne confesses too.

Thanks!

You, not him

Pairing: Brienne of Tarth x Reader

Word Count: 1617

Warning: Angst, mention of vomiting,

A/n: I didn't want to make Reader too old, as I thought it would be quite unrealistic for her to still be unmarried then. Hence the age gap. Hope that is okay. I thought of Reader as beginning to mid twenty, as Brienne is about end of thiry. I really hope you like what I did with your request!! I really liked writing it.

Hi!! I Wanted To Request Something For Brienne. I Was Gonna Try And Write It Since A Friend And I Have

When Brienne had come back, you had been so happy. You hadn't seen her for such a long time, and you really wanted to tell her everything that had happened. But when she had arrived she hadn't been alone. Jamie Lannister sat on a horse just behind her. You didn't like him, he always had this arrogant, smug look. Like he was better than all the rest. So your initial thought was that Brienne held him captive, but he walked around freely and Brienne held actual conversations with him.

It had been about two weeks since they had arrived, and you were fed up with the Kingslayer. It was enough. Honestly, since they arrived you couldn't talk to Brienne without him following her like a stray puppy. And even though he seemed to like her, way too much to your liking, he still made cruel jokes about her. Couldn't he decide if he liked her or not?!

At the beginning, you thought as long as it's one-sided it doesn't matter. But after a few more weeks you couldn't go anywhere without hearing people talk about the two of them.

"They make such a nice pair, don't they?"

"Oh yes, have you seen the way they look at each other?"

Others weren't so polite about it.

"Honestly, I think she just wants to fuck him. And he wouldn't be averse either, I think." They laughed dirty and left. You just stood there, tears in your eyes.

In the past week you hadn't talked so much with Brienne, because you had to help your mother a lot. You guessed that week was enough for their relationship to take a new turn.

Actually you had looked forward to this evening as Brienne wanted to teach you some sword-fighting. You thought you could finally spend some time together. Alone. Like you always used to. But considering the newest information, you really didn't feel like going.

Sitting on you bed that evening, all you could do was cry. You had always feared that she would come back one day. In love. With a partner. But the cruel reality of it hit you stronger than anticipated.

You felt so empty and yet so full of emotions. Full of sadness and rage.

Dinner hadn't been the best idea. You realised that as you felt it coming up again. Cowering over the toilet, still crying, you felt as pathetic as probably possible.

Why were you like this? All your friends always told you about how they fell in love with a cute, rich, honourable prince. How they had their happy life. The life that was promised to all of you, from childhood on.

But you? Of course, you had to be different. Falling in love with a woman about fifteen years older than you, way out of your reach and in love with someone else. Stupid you.

----------------

The next days to weeks you avoided Brienne. It hurt way too much and every time you saw her together with Jamie you felt tears prick in your eyes. In addition to that you thought if you avoided her maybe it would be easier for you to forget about her. You wanted to be happy for her so bad. But you just couldn't. Whatever you did, you cried yourself to sleep. Either because you missed her, because you had seen her with Jamie or because you had heard people talk about them again. Even your own mother talked about them, that definitely didn't make it easier at all.

-----------------

You knew the avoiding part wouldn't work forever and sooner or later you needed to talk to her. But that day came sooner rather than later. And you definitely weren't prepared for it, you were far too in love with her.

For the first time in weeks you dared to go out, into the garden. The garden had always been the place where you and Brienne could talk for hours. So you should have known that you would meet her there.

You were reading a book when you felt someone standing next to you. You looked up, right into Brienne's eyes. Your body visible tensed and you directly looked away. Still Brienne sat down. You felt her leg touch yours as the bench wasn't very big.

"I can't shake the feeling, that you have been avoiding me, my lady. I had rather looked forward to our time together when I had come back. But it seems you haven't." You felt a wave if sadness rush over you. You had never wanted to hurt Brienne. But you could endure it, spending time with her.

You couldn't say anything, your mouth opened a few times but no words came out. For Brienne that was a clear answer.

"I thought so. I understand if you don't want to spend time with me. I had always feared that one day you would see me for what I really am. That you would see me the way the rest sees me. I assume you are just too polite to tell me. But I think this is answer enough. Still I want to say, I enjoyed the time we had together and if you ever change your mind, I will be there." She wanted to stand up and leave. You panicked, you still hadn't said a word, but you didn't want her to leave thinking what she just said was the truth. You grabbed her wrist and pulled her back. She turned her head, and you hoped she knew you well enough to understand the look in your eyes. She did. She sat down again.

Still holding her wrist you saw tears fall down on your skirt and looking at Brienne's dry face, you realised they were yours. Brienne saw them too. She pulled you into her side and let you cry, not questioning you, not judging you.

Ad you felt your tears dry you pulled back and turned around, so you could look her in the eyes.

"Please, Brienne never think that what you said is true. That's not the reason I'm avoiding you." She smiled at you relief washing over her face.

"But, what's the reason then? Please tell me, my lady. You can talk to me." You knew that. In fact, you had always talked to her, when you had problems. For the last years she had always been there, and you felt a whole in your life where she used to be. You needed her. And in that moment you decided that even if it hurts you, you need to be with her. You would be strong. Because not having her at all was just worse.

"I don't know how to tell you. I really wanted to be happy for you. It's hard, I can't bear seeing you together. But I will learn to, I will be strong for the both of us. Because I need you in my life. Even if it's just as a friend." With that you looked at her and all you saw was... confusion. Pure and utter confusion.

"I'm sorry, my lady. But I really don't understand what you are talking about."

"I'm talking about you and Jamie. And that I love you. I have loved you since I first laid my eyes on you and not being able to ever have you breaks my heart. But it's okay, if you're happy. Which it seems you are." At that Brienne laughed. She really laughed, how could she. What you had just told her wasn't funny. Still she laughed, a real and deep laugh. A relieved laugh. She had really been concerned and was happy that the "problem" was something so stupid.

"Oh, (Y/n), love. Jamie and I are not involved. Absolutely not. He's just following me around like a chicken. It's quite annoying actually. I can't believe you thought that. I was desperately trying to leave him and spend my time with you. But you avoided me, so I was stuck with him." Your eyes widened.

"But everyone was talking about you two. I- even my mother."

"Since when is the castle-gossip something you believe in?" She was right. You had always been the one to not believe it and to question every rumour you heard.

"I'm so stupid. Honestly I can't believe myself." You laughed, happy for the first time in weeks. But as you looked at Brienne you saw concern, no insecurity? You stopped laughing.

"What's wrong?" You took her hands in your and gently stroked over the back of them up to her pulse point.

"Did you mean it? What you said, that you love me?"

You warmly smiled at her.

"Of course I did, what do you think why I was so upset about you and Jamie. I was jealous and scared that I'd lose you.

"You will never lose me. For I love you too, (Y/n) (y/l/n)." You smiled at her and cupped her face in your hands. She blushed under your touch but still leaned down to catch your lips in a kiss.

It was gentle and careful and first. You assumed it was not just your first but also her first kiss. But that carefulness was overcome fast, when she grabbed your hips and pulled you onto her lap. You threw your legs around her and your hands travelled to her neck and up into her hair. She pulled you even closer at that and let out a slight moan. You thought it was cute, but she stopped in her tracks and blushed. She hid her red face in the crook of your neck out of embarrassment as you laughed at her shyness and stroked over her hair. Everything was alright now. You were happy again.

Hi! Could you please write a Brienne x princess!reader who comes from a kingdom where basically their views are the same as ours… well the good views. Basically gender equality (so female knights), and any (legal) relationships are accepted and the people actually have rights. Brienne doesn’t know this, r thinks she does so r’s excited when she tells her they were going there. Bri is scared that r’s parents don’t approve of their relationship, and that she would get insulted by more people. When they get there, r was called by her parents so she had to leave Brienne. Bri explores a little and gets nervous when people are looking at her but one girl comes up to her and she’s like “You’re Brienne! Aren’t you the first female knight of Westeros?” and some people chime in too with good things about her. Then r joins her and they go back to the castle where Brienne notices knights of all genders just doing duties normally. Reader complains about her parents already joking about their marriage and Brienne’s just like ‘i really like this place’. This was long. I am terribly sorry. And you don’t have to write it if u dont want to. But thanks!

A better World

Pairing: Brienne of Tarth x princess!Reader

Word Count: 896

A/n: I really liked this Idea, I hope it's what you imagined! It's a bit shorter than usual, I hope you don't mind!!

Chapter 2 / Chapter 3

Hi! Could You Please Write A Brienne X Princess!reader Who Comes From A Kingdom Where Basically Their

"I can't wait for you to meet my parents and my sister, I haven't been home in so long! You'll love them, my sister can be a bit annoying at times but still she is amazing." You hugged Brienne really fast and jumped up and down out of excitement. Brienne tried to share you happiness, but she didn't feel it.

To be quite honest, Brienne was scared. What if you parents wouldn't be supportive of your relationship? She wasn't sure you would choose her over your family. Her insecurities were still too big for that. She never really believed it was all true, sometimes still fearing you were joking about your feeling for her.

But still, never in her life had she felt so safe and good as she does with you. She really didn't want to lose that. She didn't want to lose you. And she knew how much this trip meant to you and that you were really looking forward to seeing your family again, so she went with you. Trying to forget her fears.

----------------

As you arrived, you wanted to show Brienne all of the city. You wanted to show her where you played as a child, where you could get the best food, where you had learnt to make medicine. But upon arriving you were called to your parents. Brienne didn't want to come with you directly because she had brought them something as a gift. And that gift was deep down in your luggage. So you went alone and told your parents they would meet Brienne later.

Brienne started walking through the castle and explored where you had grown up. She was careful not to meet any people as she was scared of their reaction. Scared of what they would say about her, if you weren't with her.

Rounding a corner she stood directly in a courtyard full of people. For a second she thought about turning around and basically fleeing. But that wasn't very knight-like. Also, someone had already seen her. A little girl ran directly up to her. She stopped a few feet in front of her and looked up at her. Brienne had to say it looked quite adorable. But to spare the poor child from a neck concussion, Brienne kneeled down.

"You're Brienne of Tarth! Aren't you the first female knight of Westeros?" The girl beamed at Brienne waiting for her answer.

"Yes, I suppose I am."

"That's amazing. I want to be a knight too, when I'm older! I want to be just like you! Mother, that's Brienne!" The girl's mother accompanied them and Brienne stood up again.

"I'm sorry, that your daughter took me as an example, I suppose you don't want her to be knight." The woman looked confused and shook her head.

"Oh no, it would honour our family if Tyra would be like you one day."

"Is it true that you have never lost a fight?" A young man came up to them and questioned Brienne.

"Yes, I-"

"I have heard, you are stronger than most men."

"You are so tall, how tall exactly are you?"

Brienne had a hard time answering everyone as there came more and more people, all asking questions. But to her surprise, none of them were cruel, jokingly or offensive. They were all honest, curious and interested. Brienne got quite overwhelmed by all the nice people.

"My, my. Don't attack her like that. One after another. The poor woman doesn't know where to begin." As she heard your voice behind her, she visibly relaxed.

"All sit down, and then you can ask your questions. One after another, like the civilized people we are."

After you had brought some organization to the chaos, it felt much more relaxed. Brienne answered all the questions patiently and told the kids all the stories the asked for. She was still completely overwhelmed by all the kindness. She had never known something like this.

---------------

After every question was answered you took Brienne back into the castle. She was surprised to see not only women work in the kitchen and the chambers but also men. She was also surprised to see many women as soldiers and knights, practising just like the men. She couldn't wrap her mind around this, she was truly speechless.

"Honestly, my parents. You wouldn't believe them, they were already talking about our marriage. They really asked me what colour I would like my gown to be? Can you believe that." You looked at Brienne, surprised by the lack of response coming from her.

"Brienne, hello? Are you even listening to me."

Completely starstruck she looked at you.

"I really like this place." She was truly adorable. You stopped and took her face in your hands. Smiling brightly at her.

"I'm so happy to hear that. If you want we can stay here. We could also live here."

"I would like that, you never told me how...nice everyone is. They are so...accepting and tolerant." You laughed at that.

"Darling, I thought you knew that. This," you made a wide gesture, "is where I grew up. This is what made me so accepting and tolerant." You cupped her face again and gently kissed her.

"But know, you'll meet my parents. Come on." You grabbed her hand and dragged her behind you as you wandered off to find your parents.

A better World Pt.2

Pairing: Brienne of Tarth x Reader

Word Count: 621

Warning: none

A/n: I had already thought about writing something like this, but wasn't sure if people would want to read it. So I was very happy about the request! I also wrote this with you @lord6-6fandom in mind.

Hi So I Just Read The Princess!reader And If Its No Trouble Could U Maybe Do A Part Two? Its Just So

Just as you entered the hall you felt two arms wrap around your neck. Considering she still wore her armour, your sisters abrupt hug hurt a little bit.

"(Y/n) your back!! I've missed you so much. Never again leave me for so long." You tried lifting Ellaria, just like you did when you were young. But you failed miserably.

"You have grown up way too fast. I told you to stay little!" You grinned at her but fast you lost her. As she looked Brienne up and down with a smirk on her face. You could see Brienne stiffen at that, so you stepped back to stand with her.

"What beauty do you have here?" Brienne tensed even more at that statement, reminded of everyone always calling her "Brienne the Beauty" and not in a positive way. But you grabbed her hand and she saw how you and your sister giggled at that, so she understood that just like everything else that had happened today, your sister was being serious.

"Mother, father, Ellaria, this is Brienne of Tarth. The first female knight of Westeros and the most amazing woman, no person, I have ever met." You looked up at her and shyly smiled.

"Oh, it's so nice to meet you Brienne. (Y/n) has talked so much about you in her letters." Your mother pulled Brienne into a tight hug and didn't seem to notice that Brienne looked kind of startled at that. She wasn't used to being hugged. At all. It had already been a long way for you to touch her without her stiffening and stopping whatever she was doing.

Your father came forward and grabbed Brienne's hand. That was much more to her liking. "I am honoured to meet you Brienne of Tarth. Usually I would tell you how I am going to kill you if you hurt my daughter. But I trust that as a knight you know how to treat her and also, I am not sure you wouldn't kill me first." Your dad laughed at that, always thinking he is the funniest person. But you loved him, so you could look over the very unfunny jokes.

"Come on, let's sit down. It's not very comfortable standing around." Your mother gestured to the table, and you all followed her to sit down.

"(Y/n), because you basically dragged me here, I still don't have the present for your parents." Brienne whispered in your ear.

"Oh, love, that doesn't matter. Just give it to them later. They won't care." You smiled at her and to her surprise you kissed her. She wasn't used to that kind of affection in public. In Westeros most people would judge you if they saw you kiss. But here it didn't matter. No one cared.

Brienne laid her arm around your waist and, again patiently, answered all the questions your parents but mostly your sister had.

"I became a knight because of all the amazing things (Y/n) told us about you! You're my inspiration."

"Thank you, that's very kind of you." Brienne smiled shyly and as she looked at you, you could see some tears in her eyes.

------------------

Later, as you were back in your room Brienne grabbed your hips and lifted you up. She carried you to the bed and gently let you down. Hoovering over you, she kissed you, and you stroked the hair out of her face.

"I want to stay here. With you and your family, forever. We can get married and live happily, without people judging us. I have never felt so safe and accepted in my life."

"I would very much like that. It's sounds perfect." You smiled at her and pulled her down to kiss her.

AGHHH Ure Literally My Favourite Writer On Here Right Now!! U Write So Amazingly!!

Brienne had been part of Bran Starks Kingsguard for nearly two years now, and she was very happy that Podrick had been knighted and taken in the Kingsguard as well. Even if she would never admit it she would have missed him terribly. Other than her, Podrick was really open towards new people and always found new friends.

And one day he introduced Brienne to you. She felt that she was instantly drawn to you, but she forbid herself to ever feeling something like that. She didn't want it to go downhill, just like it did with Jamie.

You however, also felt drawn to her and acted on it. A lot. You loved spending time with her. Watching her fight was your favourite thing. Whenever you saw her walk around you accompanied her. Grabbing her arm and happily telling her about your day.

Sure you had noticed her coldness and that she had her guards up at all time. But you didn't take it personally and thought she just needed some time warming up. You never knew how she was treated in her live. Not just the Jamie-thing but also the general resentment people had against her. For you it was unthinkable that anyone could not like her.

You tried everything to warm her up and to look through her guard. You gifted her flowers, you invited her and Pod for dinner, you asked her to accompany you in the city. Most of the time she said no, but sometimes you felt you broke through to her, and she said yes. Still you wouldn't tire and try again and again.

You really thought you were making progress until one day everything went wrong.

It was such a beautiful and warm day, and you had woken up with the idea in your head to ask Brienne put for a picnic. Who could say no to a picnic?

So you prepared everything and went to search for her. Your heart made jumps as you saw her, as an exception not in armour. So you happily approached her and looped your arm through hers. You felt her tense at that, so you respected the boundary and took a step back. But the smile didn't fade. You still beamed at her.

"Brienne, I thought it would be the perfect day for a picnic? Would you like to accompany me? Pod could also come if you'd like." You saw her look annoyed at that and already braced yourself for the coming rejection but what came next was something you never expected.

"No, (Y/n). I do not want to go on a picnic with you. Could you please stop annoying me all the time? I know you're just going to leave me anyway. So stop bothering and let me be." You had never heard her getting so loud and harsh. For a second you didn't even know what to say. But as you felt the tears prick in your eyes you mumbled out an apology and turned around on the heel. So no picnic.

---------------

You didn't even know where to go. The tears were now streaming down your face like a waterfall. Your first thought was Pod. So you went to find him.

"(Y/n), what has happened?" Podrick pulled you into a hug and sat you down next to him. You cried his whole shirt wet. But he didn't care.

"I- I thought I was breaking through with Brienne. It seemed like she wasn't as cold anymore, but I just asked her out on a picknick, and she completely lashed out. What have I done wrong? Why does she hate me Pod?" Pod looked at you empathically.

"I'm sure she doesn't hate you. She's just been hurt a lot and doesn't trust easily. It's hard for her to express her feelings."

"No, I pushed her too much. I'm sure she hates me now." You clung to Pods shirt and cried even more. What neither of you knew was that Brienne had also wanted to talk to Pod, and she had heard your conversation. She felt bad. Really bad. She didn't hate you, and she never wanted to be so harsh. She was just scared.

"(Y/n), I-" She came around the corner and in less than a second you were on you feet. Starting to ramble an apology.

"I'm sorry, Brienne. I shouldn't have been so pushy. You clearly aren't interested, and I should have accepted that." More tears fell down your cheeks, you couldn't even stop them.

Brienne took a step forward and against all her instincts she grabbed your hands and sat down with you. Podrick slowly left you to alone, knowing that you really needed to talk. Alone.

"There is no need for you to apologise, (Y/n). I am the one who should apologise. I had no right to shout at you and get so loud. I don't hate you. I really don't, please never think that. I just... In the past I have been hurt, a lot. From my childhood on people have called me names, made fun of me, bullied me or called me 'Brienne the Beauty'. Of course that was a joke. But because of that I have always been very reserved and, quite frankly, alone. But a few years ago I fell in love. For the first time ever I trusted someone, and I was instantly hurt. He left me for someone else and died protecting the Queen. After that I swore myself to never trust anyone again. I would be hurt sooner or later." To be honest, you were shocked. It had never occurred to you that Brienne could not be liked, that she could have even been bullied and called names. To you she was just perfect. And you told her that.

"I'm so sorry, Brienne. I didn't know any of that. I can't believe people are so cruel. But I can promise you: I will never leave you. To me, you are perfect and amazing. There is nothing about you to make fun of. Each little part and thing about you makes you special. Every flaw, every imperfection, every insecurity." You warmly smiled at her and stroked over her hands. Your tears long forgotten.

"Thank you, so much." Brienne tightly hugged you and even though it still took some time for her to fully grasp it all, she started to trust you more and more. And she even learned to get used to the physical touch.

Can I request a brienne x reader where the reader really drunk and brienne has to take care of her? they are already a couple, sorry if this is confusing you don't have to do it if you don't want to.

A little too much alcohol

Pairing: Brienne of Tarth x Reader

Word Count: 656

Warning: mention of alcohol

A/n: hope you like it!! <3

Can I Request A Brienne X Reader Where The Reader Really Drunk And Brienne Has To Take Care Of Her? They

You didn't normally drink, so you had no idea how much alcohol you could take before getting drunk. And that had led to you being absolutely wasted now and wanting to fight everyone who said just one wrong word. Considering that you weren't very tall and definitely not as strong as the soldiers you had been drinking with, that was a shit idea. So for your own good Brienne had grabbed you and escorted you away from the chaos into your own room.

"But I don't want to leave, I was just having so much fun." You gently slapped her arm and wanted to turn around, but she was much stronger than you.

"I know, but I think it's best for you to sleep a bit. You can have more fun tomorrow." You chuckled at that and looked at Brienne.

"Well if my girlfriend was here, I could have lots of fun with her. If you understand what I mean." She did understand what you meant. And also knowing that you meant her, she couldn't help but blush like crazy. She didn't know anything to say to that, so she just went on going to your room trying to not lose you on the way. You were like a little child. Getting distracted by everything and wanting to directly run towards it. How could a water fountain at the wall be so interesting that it took Brienne almost five minutes to get you away from it?

As you arrived in your room you immediately kicked of your shoes and let yourself fall on your bed.

"She is so tall." You mumbled. Brienne turned around to look at you.

"Who?"

"Brienne of Tarth." You stretched the last part dramatically long. Her heart sunk, she braced herself for the always hidden truth now coming to light. That you actually didn't like her and thought just as bad about her as all the rest.

"It's so hot. I mean she's hot just in general. But she is so tall, and then she towers over me and I just feel like my knees'll give out. And they get all wobbly and I wish I could rip her clothes from her body immediately, but I know she's not ready, and I don't want to hurt her or make her uncomfortable. So I wait and just stare at her like a stalker." Brienne was shocked. This was the absolute opposite of what she had expected. And she didn't need to look into a mirror to know that she was bright red. Sure you complimented her but not like this. And she wasn't even fully used to the small compliments yet. How was she supposed to handle this.

"Well, I think your girlfriend would be very happy to hear all of this. But now I think I'd be best for you to sleep." She tried her best to sound like a sane person.

"Oh, Brienne. I was just talking about you to-" you looked around the room confused as to where the nice woman had gone.

"Well I assume she left. Could you help me take of my dress?" You stood up and turned around. Brienne new you expected her to open the laces of your corset but for a slight moment she just stood there like someone had vexed her to not move.

"Brienne? Please, I really want to sleep." So she pulled herself together and gently untied your corset. As it loosened it automatically fell down to the floor, and after you had stepped out of it, Brienne took it and neatly placed it on a chair. She tucked you in and put a glass of water beside your bed. After having said goodnight she left the room and gently closed the door.

The moment the door was closed she let out a breath she didn't even know she had held and leaned against the wall.

Well, that was certainly something.

Omg I did not know that you wrote smut?!?! I know you already wrote a lot of Brienne requests but if you want, could you please write a fluffy smut where it’s Brienne’s first time with a woman so reader takes charge and she takes her time worshiping Brienne’s body? It’s what my baby deserves. Thank you!

The first time

Pairing: Brienne of Tarth x Reader

Word Count: 1156

Warning: NSFW, 18+, eating out, fingering, nipple play

A/n: I had already thought about writing something similar to this, so I was very happy about the request. And no problem, please let the Brienne request come. I'm happy about then all!

Omg I Did Not Know That You Wrote Smut?!?! I Know You Already Wrote A Lot Of Brienne Requests But If

Brienne and you had been together now for a few weeks. You couldn't believe your luck. She was everything you had ever imagined and more. Just staring at her and being in awe was actually one of your favourite things to do at the moment, but kissing her was also very high up on the list.

You hadn't seen Brienne for a few days because she had left for a mission from the king. So, when she entered your room after having come back, you immediately jumped into her and started kissing her.

"I missed you so much." Brienne gently hugged you and smiled into the kiss. She was very happy to see you too.

You started untying the laces of her armour and helped her take it off. However, you didn't stop after the armour, you went straight to the blouse. But you weren't able to get further than the first two buttons, as she stopped you.

"What are you doing?" She looked at you with insecurity in her eyes.

"Well, I actually wanted to take off your clothes. But we don't have to do this, if you don't want to. We can just sit down and talk." She shook her head.

"I do want this. But (Y/n), I have never slept-" you stopped her, falsely assuming what she was going to say.

"I don't care, if you've never slept with a woman."

"No, I have never slept with anyone before."  She looked down, ashamed of what she had just said.

"Oh, Brienne. Please look at me. There is nothing wrong with that. I don't care. If you really want to do this now, then we will. But I want you to be sure if you really want it." Brienne was moved by your sincerity.

"Yes, I want it. I want to sleep with you." You warmly smiled at her and resumed unbuttoning her blouse. You gently pushed it off her shoulders, and it fell down with ease. Switching positions, you pushed her towards the bed. She sat down and slightly, with a hand on her chest, you pushed her into a laying position. You sat on top of her and admired her body.

You could sense that she got uncomfortable under your stare, so you quickly started stroking her breasts with one hand and brushed the hair out of her face with the other hand while mumbling compliment after compliment.

"You are so beautiful, Brienne. Every little part of you is just perfect the way it is." Leaning down to place kisses around her breasts and still stroking the other one with your hand, you complimented her even more.

"Such pretty breasts. Fitting in my hands just perfectly." While saying that, you squeezed one a little harder and mildly pinched her nipple. She let out a suppressed moan at that.

"Let it out. I want to hear every pretty little sound that comes out of you." Not stopping the stroking and pinching of her breasts, your mouth wandered further down. Placing kisses all over her stomach and hips. As your mouth met the hem of her trousers, her breasts had to spare one of your hands as you started pulling down her trousers.

A wave of insecurity washed over Brienne ad she grabbed your hand right before you could expose anything. You immediately stopped and looked at her.

"You don't have to do this. I can understand if you don't want to. I won't be angry." You looked at her, surprised that she still doubted your intentions.

"My love, I want to do this. I want to show you what it feels like to feel good, to be pleasured. Please, trust me. There is nothing I would rather do right now." She slightly nodded at that, loosening her grip around your wrist.

You resumed pulling the trousers down and let them fall to the floor as well. You couldn't keen yourself from looking at her perfect body again.

"My god, Brienne. You look so good. How is this possible? I will never understand how people could believe that you aren't beautiful." You saw her blush at all your compliments, but it was all the truth, and you wanted to absolutely spoil her today.

Slowly you started moving down her body again and spread her legs. Gently, you kissed her thighs everywhere you could. You felt her shiver under your touch, and to your pleasant surprise, you could practically watch as she got wetter and wetter through your kisses and strokes.

You carefully got closer to her centre and placed light kisses on the outside of her vagina and neared her clit until the kisses were placed right on the clit. You heard her let out a deep groan at that. Grabbing her hand that laid on top her stomach, you gently held her and stroked the back of her hand, all while pleasuring her.

Before you started eating her out completely, you lifted your head and looked at her.

"Please immediately tell if you don't like what I do, okay?" She nodded and you got to work.

At first slower and after time with increasing speed you licked and sucked at her clit. In-between teasing her entrance and tasting her juices on your tongue.

"Oh, (Y/n). Please don't stop, I like that very much." You smirked at that, proud of the work you were doing. Every little sound that escaped her mouth felt like a little present addressed directly to you.

With increasing speed, you felt that Brienne was close. Her legs started to twitch, she held your hand even tighter and her groans and moans got louder.

So, to bring her over the edge, you took the free hand and squeezed her breast again, while also pinching and twisting the nipple. She let out a deep, guttural groan that nearly made you moan too.

A few licks and pinches later, she came. Your name and a loud moan on her lips. You moved up and gently kissed her, your hand still on her breast.

Surprised by the loud sounds that escaped her, she blushed again and hid her face in the crook of your neck. She was just adorable.

"Did you like it? It most definitely sounded like it." She shyly nodded her head, and you just could help yourself, you had to laugh.

"I really don't know what I did to deserve you, Brienne. I'll never leave you." At that, Brienne pulled back and smiled at you, thankful to have you. After another kiss, she looked at you questioning.

"Do you want me to-" her eyes roamed all over your body, and you understood she wanted to know if she should pleasure you too.

"Oh no, today is all about you. And believe me, I am not finished with you yet." Brienne's eyes widened at that, and you let out a small laugh before going down on her again.

A better World Pt.3

Pairing: Brienne of Tarth x Reader

Word Count: 662

Warning: mention of mental health problems, trauma

A/n: So first of all, this is a quite rudimentary portrait of mental health as I am not sure of how evolved the matter would be in the game of thrones world. Second of all, the fic is fully based on @lord6-6fandom 's idea. I'll include the idea at the end of the fanfic.

A Better World Pt.3

You had been at home for almost three weeks now and while you were extremely happy and could see Brienne was too, there was trauma that haunted Brienne. She didn't admit that, but you knew her and you could see it.

Often Brienne had nightmares or woke up in the middle of the night crying because she thought she was in Westeros again. It broke your heart to see her like that. So one night when you held her and dried her tears you got an idea.

"Darling, maybe you would like to see a mind healer?" Her head shoot up in confusion at that.

"What's that?"

"Well, it's kind of like a healer but for your mind. It's someone you can talk to, about your past, your trauma and your fears. They'll listen, and they know useful things to make your life easier and to help you overcome the past." You knew that you yourself could only do so much. You could strengthen her confidence and try to make her believe that she was incredible. But you could never heal her trauma or make her nightmares go away.

"Do you think that could help me?" You knew how hard it was for her to be vulnerable, so seeing the healer wouldn't be easy for her, but you really wanted her to get better.

"It won't be easy, but I believe it could help, yes." So that was how you decided to work against Brienne's problems.

The next day you talked to a mind healer about Brienne, and she agreed to see her. You knew it was better, but you still didn't like that you couldn't accompany Brienne to her sessions.

The first few times were horrible. It was the first actual fight you two had, trying to get Brienne to going to the next session. She said she hated it, she had to open up and be completely vulnerable. And as you had expected she didn't like that.

"Please Brienne, don't be so damn stubborn and go the next session." You were nearly shouting at her.

"But I don't want to. This doesn't do anything good. She just sees me in a state no one is supposed to see me in, except for you maybe."

"But that's the whole idea of it. Of course, you won't see any progress after one session. Since when are you someone to give up so fast?!" Brienne rolled her eyes at that statement.

"Why are you so keen on making me go there? It's not your "trauma"." You had tried to suppress the tears up until now. You didn't see any reason to not show her how miserable this made you feel. The tears just streamed down your cheeks. Brienne actually looked a bit shocked.

"Because, Brienne, I love you. And it breaks my heart to see you so miserably. To see you cry nearly every night and not be able to help you or make you feel any better. All I want is for you to be happy, and I really believe that this could be a good start for that." Brienne was positively speechless. She approached you and pulled you into a tight hug.

"I'm sorry, my love. I promise I will see the healer again. I shouldn't have started a fight over this."

After this fight it got better. Brienne still felt utterly uncomfortable at the beginning, but that got better with each time she went to see the healer. She started to have more trust in it and opened up more and more. It took time, a lot of time and there always were relapses where she felt worse again. But over all it got better and better.

It made your heart flutter to see your lover become happier again and to see her crying in the dark of your room at night less and less. Having come home was the best thing that ever happened to the two of you.

i have a request for Brienne of Tarth! it doesn’t have to be exactly like this or anything, you can change up stuff if you want.

reader is together with brienne. but she’s out all day fighting and stuff. we really miss her so we go to her room and put on one of her shirts, and rest in her room, ending up having a nap while waiting for her. and she comes back later in the day! how would she react and stuff? especially with us having her shirt on. i feel like she would find it cuteee seeing us wearing it🥰

reader wakes up after hearing her come into the room, maybe brienne talking about how her day went and also how much she missed us & how much we missed her aswell. maybe she notices we have her shirt on after she changes out of her armour and looks for a shirt to wear, notices one is gone. she gets changed and when we are cuddling n all that soft stuff, she’s like “is that my shirt?” and you get all like “whaaaat??? of course not-“ but we end up admiting that we missed her so we put it on🥰

I Have A Request For Brienne Of Tarth! It Doesnt Have To Be Exactly Like This Or Anything, You Can Change

You hated these days. The ones in which you nearly didn't see Brienne at all because she was out all day. Whether it was fighting, accompanying the King or having been sent in missions. You always missed her terribly.

And today was such a day. The only thing that made it worse was that she was actually fighting, and you knew it. Of course, she was incredibly skilled and the best knight of Westeros but still, you couldn't resist worrying.

It was already at dawn when you decided to leave your chamber to go lay in Brienne's bed. You hoped that her scent all around you would calm you. As you entered her room and saw one of her linen shirts neatly folded on a chair you got an idea. You pulled the shirt you were wearing over your head and replaced it with Brienne's linen one.

You crawled into her bed and hid completely under her sheets. And indeed the scent of her all around you, hugging and tucking you in did comfort and calm you. Even so much that you were able to fall into a light sleep.

----------------------

A few hours later you were woken by a soft but still strong voice complaining about all the stupid men that thought just because she's a woman they would easily defeat her. You peeked out from under the covers and watched Brienne take of her armour.

She turned around, confused as to why her talking was meet with silence.

"Oh, love I'm so sorry." She hastily approached you kneeled down in front of the bed. She gently stroked your cheek.

"I woke you, didn't I? That wasn't my intention." She smiled apologetic and gave you a quick kiss.

"It's okay, really. I'm just happy that you're back. Come into the bed?" With puppy eyes you blinked at her. She could say no to that, so she finished changing, a little startled that the linen shirt she knew she had folded on the chair wasn't there anymore. But she didn't think twice about it and just grabbed a different one.

Gently she lifted the sheets and crawled in bed behind you. Embracing you from behind and laying a hand on top your stomach to have you as close as possible.

"I missed you, I was really worried." You nuzzled in, leaning in her touch. Happy to have her back and safe with you.

"I know, I missed you to." She planted a gentle kiss on top your hair. While leaning in her touch the sheets uncovered your shoulder and Brienne had a direct view of her shirt.

"(Y/n)?" You were already half asleep again. So instead of an answer you just hummed.

"Is that my shirt?" Your eyes shoot open. A little embarrassed you hid your face in her arm and mildly nodded.

"No?" Brienne let out a slight laugh at that.

"I can see that it's mine, (Y/n)." While smirking, she gently played with your hair and breathed a kiss on it.

"I felt so alone without you and the shirt smells like you so in comforted me." You mumbled nearly inaudibly into her arm. Brienne blushed a little at that. She was still unaccustomed to this kind of love and adoration. But she couldn't deny that she liked it.

"It's okay, love. You can wear my clothes whenever you want. Even though I wouldn't recommend wearing them outside, unless you might want a dress." You had to laugh at her joke and the embarrassed died down. You lifted you head and turned it slightly as to look at her. She kissed you, and you happily fell asleep cuddled into her strong arms.
