I remember in the late 2000’s still being able to stumble onto pages made by bakers, travelers, storytellers, musicians. Now every link is a doorstep to a shop, self-marketing, data collection. These men paved paradise and I cheer for their inevitable painful demise.

Anyway hi I have something of a reputation of being a hard ass in my moderating duties on are slash 196 because I was never one to tolerate any sort of bigoted stupidity since I wanted to harbor an environment that let a bunch of queer kids thrive and shitpost without being surrounded by hateful morons like they were my cubs and I was an extremely territorial mama bear.

On top of that, we constantly had admins breathing down our necks to clean up all the “””violent””” commentary like “punch nazis” and “right wing lives don’t matter” day in and day out, with users typically getting banned by them soon after without any input from us, while our modqueue filled up to absurd degrees and our modmail sat unanswered because it was mostly “”people”” we banned calling us slurs and telling us to kill ourselves. But I ain’t gotta mod shit and be protective of a specific environment here, so what the fuck is up you goddamn nerds say hello.
