i think it is very sexy of medical sciences to ascribe such bizarre names to structures. like what the fuck is the node of ranvier. circle of willis. aorta. im intrigued

I actually did try planting like 12 sunflowers in the center of my yard, but I think I have a continuous lead problem from my chicken coop that has galvanized wire (and subsequently the eggs, which is a whole other panic attack). Would the seeds of the sunflowers still be edible? 

My grandma regularly grows leafy plants in the dirt (thankfully in raised beds most of the time) but she’s harvested and eaten the sunflower seeds from before
