I do quite like the nanobot idea as it is pretty neat, just the concept of one robot being made of a unfathomable hive mind of smaller ones is both cool and terrifying at the same time.

Can anyone explain what in the world is going on with Mercury? Like is he full robot that can liquidate himself or is he just a sentient liquid wearing armer and keeping a form to the best of their ability?

Is this ever explained if so please i beg someone to tell me.
