I agree on drop in quality, but at the same time I really think shorter seasons are better for most series. I can think of some "old" shows that could be much better if they'd have less episodes and concentrated more on the main plot. Only six episodes per season is a crime though (and here I think of In the Flesh only having three episodes in first season... rip)
I do not understand why most TV shows now have fewer episodes, with each episode being shorter, but the quality of the writing has not improved. In the past, shows used to have many more episodes per season with better writing. What happened to cause this drop in quality? Sigh!

I came across your post about negative people in the fandom and saw that you called out a certain account in the comments. Is this only about her blog and anons?
Sadly it's not. I would like not to specify what exactly triggered me to post that, but it was something like "last straw" situation and it was more personal. It was not the first time I've seen people being rude, and most of them do it quite intentionally. Anons on that blog are just part of it.
well I disagree with you cause henry cavill is still the best choice for geralt and it's even more weird to choose a different actor to play him. Also Liam is not that great an actor so I don't have much hope for the show now.
Have I said that Liam is a great actor? Or a good choice? Or something? Because I didn't, the only thing I was talking about is how people change their minds and begin to like what they used to criticize (sometimes hypocritically).
As for me, neither of them are good choises for Geralt. But as the whole series is not great at sticking with canon and simply don't have the vibe what made The Witcher special, I guess it's okay. Witcherflix has its own universe, and so it has its own version of Geralt. Casting decisions aren't the main problem of this show, imho.
I don't know why would anyone decide that it's a good idea to shit talk other blogs in my asks after I said I'm freaking tired of this shit in the fandom. It's not, if I need to clarify. I made that post not to rant or start another round of hating people and clearly not to discuss who do you think good or bad. I intentionally avoid to clarify certain things because I wasn't trying to create more drama. I just wanted to share some feelings and maybe also warn everyone who followed me because of YR what I might step aside from it for a while. So if you would be so kind, please go find another place for that.
Now I just want to enjoy my Easter preparations and I hope you guys also have some nice things to do in real life 💙

Happy 20th birthday to Wille!
