Last week I volunteered at a summer camp type thing and there was this girl, about 10 or so. This one day tee group I was assigned to was doing arts and crafts and the whole time this girl sits and just draws away, so I go over to her and ask what she's drawing and she shows me a drawing of Ranboo. I say, "Oh I love Ranboo, is he your favourite YouTuber?" and her face just lights up. I think she wasn't expecting me to know who he was so I started talking about his cooking videos and she began excitedly rambling about that one ghost hunting stream in Tubbo's garden. Anyways, for the rest of the week she sticks to my side and talks to me all about the dsmp, who her favourite character is, who's streams she watches most, and even brings in her drawing book, which is fill with pages and pages of drawings of mcyts (mainly Ranboo). She kept making these references and got so happy when I knew what they were from. It was honestly the most wholesome experience ever, she was just so passionate about it.

Then she tells me that she's so excited to have a finally friend who likes the dsmp and I ask "do none of your other friends watch it?" and she says no, they all think its embarrassing and make fun of her for liking it.And when I tell you my heart melted.

Honestly, protect the young people of this fandom because this little girl was the nicest person I've ever met and she just wanted someone to talk about her interests with.

So you're telling me that this man built a whole ass country, didn't let anyone who wasn't european join, which started an election that the result of got both him and his vice president run out of the country, started a revolution against said country to get it back, win that revolution only to elect two children as president and blow up the country seconds later, knocking down the first domino in a long line of events that caused lots of problems for lots of people
