I never thought I could cry multiple times in twelve minutes. excellent short film.

Hey guys! I was lucky enough to have been part of this project as an animator. Please check it out if you can, it just came out on Netflix! 💛
[1:04 p.m.] to be fair, you always thought lucas was cute, but you guys were more like frenemies than actual friends. you merely exchanged jabs at each other, and when there were other members around, you and he were not likely to interact a lot. still, part of you pretty much thought lucas was a solid 10, even though he was annoying. based on the tiktok trend you'd been seeing of girls texting their guy friends 'you're pretty,' you decided to jump onto that bandwagon as well. so you chose to text lucas. you partly wanted to see his reaction, but you also felt that this was an indirect way of letting him know how you actually thought about him.
your heart stopped as you saw the text bubble pop up: 'what did you say?' and at this point, you would've reeled it back, but for some reason, you wanted to keep pushing at it, so you texted him 'I think you have a pretty face'. you had some water boiling in a kettle for tea, and just as the whistles begin to sound, your phone screen lit up, the red and green circles giving you the freedom to choose your next action. you pick up the call, and you hear lucas on the other end, "are you fucking with me?" you raise your eyebrows, “what are you talking about?” “you know what I’m referring to. the texts.” he says the last part with a hushed voice, and you can only assume this freakout is happening near some of the members. you snicker at the thought, but lucas jumps to conclusions. “you were fucking with me, weren’t you? I hear you laughing.” “no, sorry, it was something else. as far as the texts go…” you breathe out to relax your beating heart. “they’re not lies. I wasn’t fucking with you, I think you’re really good-looking. in fact, I thought you were cute for a very long time.”
you hear him grunt small curses and then a chair is pushed against the ground, you hear it screeching. the members’ voices become faint and now you’re sure that lucas has stepped away from everyone because he says, “you drive me crazy, y/n, did you know that? you get on my last nerve but sometimes I still wonder what it’s like to hold your hand. how a movie night would look like if it was just the two of us.” your breath hitches at his confession, and suddenly you’re a blushing mess. “I’m sorry if I ever came off as too harsh, or that we don’t even talk all that much. you make me nervous as fuck and that’s no excuse for the way I acted but-” you cut him off, “lucas, stop.” you set your phone down and turn on your speaker. “tell you what, I’m home right now. if you can, why don’t you come over? I’m making tea, we can talk more in person.” lucas sighs and sincerely mumbles, “really?” your heart stutters, and you bite your lip. “plus, you can finally see what it’s like to hold my hand,” you teasingly tell him and he playfully whines, “stop making fun of me!” at that moment, you laugh heartily and lucas feels like it’s one of the most beautiful sounds he’s ever heard. “I’m kidding. you’re more than welcome to come by.” and you smile in anticipation, pulling out two mugs from your cabinet when you hear him say “I’m on my way.”

210613 jungkook you shall be remembered forever
[10:10 p.m.] “hell to the naw, y/n, I will not do this tiktok with you.”
“ugh, well does anyone else wanna do it with me?” you narrow your eyes at mark before turning your attention to the rest of the guys. you came over to their dorm to spend some time with them before your classes started up again. it was only fair that they would reciprocate your enthusiasm by doing something you would like, which for you, was making a tiktok. “it’s not even going to be public, you guys know that! I have a private account for myself.”
“FINE, I’LL DO IT!” donghyuck hollers from the kitchen table. you beam in delight, “ahh! thank you, hyuck! come, I’ll show you where we’ll do it!” you grab his hand and drag him, missing the slick smile and suggestive eyebrow wiggle mark gives donghyuck, who clenches his jaw and mouths a ‘shut up’ to his older best friend. you go to one of the vacant bedrooms and adjust your phone against the window to find the proper placement.
“which one are we doing anyway?” donghyuck asks, watching your swift movements around the room. that’s when you turn and give him a devious smile. “why are you smiling like that, you look like pennywise,” he gives you a side-eyed glare, suspicious of your actions, and you giggle. “listen to the audio and you’ll know exactly which one.” you press play on her phone and watch the look of horror morph onto his face. “pink, pink, pink! girls, girls, girls! glitter, glitter, glitter! twirls, twirls, twirls! together, forever! we’re Linda and Heather! BEST FRIENDS!” donghyuck meets your gaze and starts to shake his head but you groan, “no, don’t back down! you told me you would! plus, my account is private anyway so it’s only going to be a few people seeing it. okay, what if I published it privately, just for me?” donghyuck chews on his lip, squinting at you to make sure you’re not bullshitting him even though he knows you’re sincere about your offer. he goes pink and his lips trembles in embarrassment but he nods and you clap in excitement. you teach him the moves and being the fast learner he is, donghyuck picks it up quite fast. “okay, ready? I’m about to press record,” you affirm with him one more time, and donghyuck groans, “let’s get this over with, y/n.”
after recording (and let's be honest, re-recording it because according to donghyuck, you did it wrong) the tiktok, you finally press post and wait. "great, now just give it a few hours, I'm sure we'll get views," you stare down at your screen, oblivious to donghyuck's eyes on you. to be frank, he wouldn't have said no to you no matter what it was you would've asked him to do; he was always grateful whenever he got to spend time with you, even if it was for a few minutes. you snap him out of his thoughts when you call his name several times. "what's on your mind?" you ask him and he shakes his head, avoiding your eyes in response. "don't worry about it, let's get out of here."
Free Palestine is not an antisemitic statement.
The Israeli-Palestine situation is not religious based, it’s land based. Religion came in the picture incidental decades after the conflict began.
Free Palestine is not an antisemitic statement.
Calling out “Israel” for it’s violence against the land currently known as Palestine is not blaming Jewish people and communities for said violence. There are Israeli Muslims, Palestinian Jews and Christians of both backgrounds.
There were already thousands of Jewish people in Palestine before British rule.
Calling out “Israel” means holding accountable the government/military actions oppressing the people of Palestine. Not blaming the innocent Jewish citizens of the land.
Free Palestine is not an antisemitic statement.
It’s an opposition to this loss of life and land, not to any religious belief.

Free Palestine is not an antisemitic statement.
Freeing Palestine means giving its people self-determination on what is and is not their own ancestral land. The optimal way is to peacefully decide this.
The government/military of the state known as Israel have killed hundreds of innocent civilians of Palestine. They were met with peaceful protests. They responded with violence. Then they were met with violence in the name of self-defense. They responded with more violence.
Free Palestine is not an antisemitic statement.
Of course, Jewish people know far too well the cost of bloodshed and religious persecution that force innocents to become refugees, lose their families and have their homes ripped apart bloodily, inhumanely and unjustly.
That is the current state of innocents in Palestine.
Free Palestine is not an antisemitic statement.
No, the issue is not black and white. Innocents in the land known as Israel have been hurt regardless of religious affiliation. Innocents in the land known as Palestine have been hurt regardless of religious affiliation.
The black and white of it is that there are the oppressed and the oppressors.
Free Palestine is not an antisemitic statement.
Freeing Palestine does not mean being diametrically opposed to the original definition of Zionism which is reparations for Jewish peoples in the form of a partial ethnic-state.
The land currently known as Israel was not the only place considered for said goal; Madagascar, Ethiopia, Germany and several others were considered before outer Western oppressive powers mandated the state of Israel - a choice done with only temporary consent by those of the land then known as Palestine.
Those same Western oppressive powers would have hurt whatever country they’d chosen and none of that would’ve been the fault of the Jewish people.
Free Palestine is not an antisemitic statement.
Jews have ALWAYS existed in Palestine.
Free Palestine is not an antisemitic statement.
Free Palestine is simply a call to the end of illegal warfare, eviction, apartheid and religious persecution of innocent people in the land that is known as Palestine by the federal government of the state of Israel.
It is a call to prevent the exportation of refugees, the destruction of innocents, the airstrikes on public places and the bodies of innocent children lying dead and bloodied on the streets in the land of Israel-Palestine.
Free Palestine is not an antisemitic statement.
It is a call to end the expansion of an oppressive state. Not to hurt Jews, nor kick them out individually nor to kill them. Just to free all involved from the warfare of an imposed and invading state.
Plenty of people with argue against this. I pity them for being uninformed and so adamant on their beliefs which may unintentionally or intentionally perpetuate violence on both communities - to paint either the Jewish or Arab peoples and/or their respective religions as violent or propagandistic.

Free Palestine is not an antisemitic statement.
“Free Palestine” is a call for peace and justice in the face of violent, unjust colonial settlement and ethnic cleansing.
Don’t make me regret posting this.
