Baekhyun:
This brat will force you to watch horror movies with him, even going as far as lying to you about the film being a rom-com ("I swear to God, babe, it's 'The Kissing Booth!"), but it is only because he's so whipped for you clinging to him with your head tucked in his neck uwu. Honestly, he doesn't care about the movie, too focused on the way you're fisting his shirt like it's your lifeline, and he'll shut the TV off soon enough, wrapping his arms around your waist and chuckling softly to himself as he calms you down ("Oh, princess, don't be scared, I'll protect you.") The night will probably end with Baek singing in your ear until your breathing steadies and you fall asleep, still holding him close to you, and your boyfriend won't be able to stop his grin when he sees your pretty face, pressing a gentle kiss to your forehead. Taemin:
Why is he so unbothered kkkk? You were probably the one wanting to get your ever-so-calm boyfriend a bit flustered, hoping that the scariest movie of the year will manage to break his walls. But of course you ended shaking with fear, while Taemin stared into the eyes of all the zombies on the screen without flinching once. Your boyfriend will probably be so confused as to why you're hiding behind the couch pillow when you were the one who wanted to see this movie to start with, but he'll still be super soft, pausing the film and pulling the cushion away from your face carefully, smiling unconsciously when you let out a small shriek ("You're so cute, sweetie."). Tae will rush to the kitchen to get you a cup of water and sit by you for however long you need, rubbing your back gently, and just be the perfect boyfriend while you blush at your own stupidness ("You have nothing to be scared of, beautiful. It's just a movie, okay?")
Kai:
I feel like Kai won't even notice that you're hiding behind the couch until the middle of the movie lmao. Like, he'll just be so entranced by everything happening on the screen, his eyes wide and mouth slightly ajar ("Oh my god, does human liver really look like that?"), he won't even realize you're scared to death until you accidentally let out a little whimper of fear. When he sees you curled up into a tiny ball in the corner, he'll be quick to shut off the movie, not thinking twice before rushing to you, thinking you somehow got hurt ("Babe, what's wrong?!"). When you'll explain to him that you're scared, he'll smile in relief before gently tugging your arm and taking you to bed, promising you that he'll never see a horror film with you again ("It wasn't even that good... Definitely not worth the time.")
Taeyong:
The two of you are screaming the whole movie together lmao. I feel like Taeyong will want to protect you when he notices how scared you are, but at the same time he's trying not to piss his pants, so he'll hug you tightly, comforting you and him at the same time. But at some point, when the two of you are practically in each other's laps, eyes wide and quivering and mouth hanging open, he'll save the two of you from future pain, getting up quickly and shutting off the television with a shaky hand. After that, the pair of crackheads that you're will dash to your bedroom, occasionally getting scared of each other and the furniture on the way ("AHH something is touching me!!! Wait- it's just your leg"). When you reach the bedroom, you'll cling to each other tightly, your boyfriend rambling quietly until the two of you fall asleep in each other's arms ("Nothing is going to happen, movies aren't real, it's just actors with makeup on.")
Ten:
So Ten is going to enjoy the movie, while low-key being scared out of his mind lmao. Your boyfriend is definitely the type to catch on pretty soon on how you cower a little more every time there is a jump scare, and he can't help but smirk to himself as he thinks about pranking you. So the next time the murderer appears on the screen, Ten is screaming loudly, causing you to scream as well and yeet yourself off the couch, running down the hallway and towards your room. Ten will be slightly shocked by your reaction, but he's quick to pause the movie and run after you, calling out your name ("Y/N?? Babe, come back.") When he finally finds you, hiding under the covers of your bed, he'll coo gently, picking you up in his arms and pressing sweet butterfly kisses all over your face, apologizing profusely as he does. ("I'm so sorry, angel, I shouldn't have scared you.")
Lucas:
Lucas won't be scared during the movie, rather mildly surprised and slightly taken aback by the gruesome scenes on the screen, as if he didn't understand the meaning of the word 'horror' ("Damn, that's a lot of blood."). The second he'll notice that you're scared though, he's quick to turn off the film, taking off the blanket covering you and tugging you up by your interlaced hands. When you ask him where you're going, he doesn't reply, simply leading you out the door of your apartment. The two of you roam around the streets for a while, listening to the calming sound of the chirping birds and howling wind, Lucas talking with you mindlessly about everything and nothing ("It's just cool how birds can fly, you know?"). Only when you're boyfriend is sure you're back to your cheery self, will he lead you back to your house, still holding your hands tightly in his own.
Mark:
Mark wouldn't even pay attention to the movie, too busy sending you worried glances every few seconds. From the start, he was reluctant about watching a horror movie of all genres, knowing how much you hate spooky things ("Are you trying to torture yourself??"). But of course, he couldn't say no to your adorable puppy eyes and big, sad pout. So he'll be on the edge of his seat the whole film, wincing slightly when another demon appears on the TV, before shooting your trembling form a weary glance. Finally, only halfway into the movie, he gets up to turn the screen off, not being able to take it anymore, before gently picking you up in his arms, bridal style, and taking you to your shared bedroom, mumbling words of assurance in your ear quietly as he does ("Monsters aren't real, babe. You're safe with me.").

lucas pulled your sobbing figure close, his long arms wrapping around your shoulders. he murmurs small reassurances to you, his low voice filling your ears. his hands run up and down your back, firmly holding you against him, so you can't move away. comforted by him, your sobs quiet, replaced by ocassional sniffles. he leans back, looking at your tear streaked face as his head dips to press a soft kiss to your forehead. he smiles at you asking if you're feeling better before pulling you back into his chest once he's recieved your confirmation.

lucas's large form was half laying on you, his arm around your waist. one leg was tangled in yours, the length far extending yours. his head was buried in your neck, his soft breaths tickling your skin. unsure whether he was awake or not, you decided to run your fingers through his hair, seeing if he'd stir. he doesn't move, but you feel his head shift, feeling his lips against your warm skin. he kisses your neck gently, silently thanking you for loving him. the hand on your waist rubs circles into your skin, wishing to reciprocate your actions.

you nervously waited for lucas, outside his gate at the airport. you shifted your weight from each foot as you looked around, in case he had to come out from another exit. your attention was pulled to the gate in front of you, a loud call of your name echoing in the airport. lucas was rushing towards you, his smile wide as he opens his arms. you yelped as he lifted you, spinning you around as he cheered. he quickly puts you down, his big hands cupping your cheeks as he captures your lips in a deep kiss, pouring the emotions of the last month into it.

sitting in his lap, your back against his chest, it was inevitable that you ended up fiddling with his hands. his long fingers were entertaining, the size almost comical. lucas had clearly had enough, his hands coming around yours, gripping them. this effectively stopped your movements. you turn in his lap, him still holding your hands. as you lean on one of his shoulders, he lifts your hand, kissing the fingertips. he murmurs how much he loves your hands, giggling as you hide your face in his shoulder in embarrassment.

what do you get a man who has everything he could ever want? you make him something from your heart. in your case, it was an album of photos from throughout your relationship. each photo was named, and had the date it was taken. the album itself was decorated simply but elegantly, matching lucas's personal style. handing it to him, he smiled as he opened it, scanning the pictures. his smile only gets bigger as he reaches the last page. he puts it aside, pulling you close as he kisses your cheek tenderly, mumbling thanks against your red skin.

Summary: Like a page taken out of a rom-com storyline, Essie has a one-night stand with Lucas, and Johnny and Jaehyun aren’t happy about it. Hilarity ensues, as always.

Before you and Johnny became official, you had a couple of flings with other guys. One of them was with Lucas, whom you had a one-night stand with. It was during a party that you ended up with the head-turning Hong Konger.
The party was to celebrate someone’s birthday – you were sure it was for the Aquarian group of Doyoung, Johnny, and Jaehyun – and somehow, you ended up on the couch with Lucas.
Both of you were tipsy already, with him affectionately rubbing your thigh, and you caressing his arm. You were talking too close to each other that nothing else mattered – if you weren’t that drunk, you might have noticed that Johnny and Jaehyun were glaring at your interaction with Lucas.
Everything happened so fast, and before you knew it, you were in bed with the younger guy. You could only remember snippets of the deed, which were too steamy to even recall in detail.
You woke up around 7 a.m. and found that Lucas was still beside you, scrolling through his phone. He was still topless, exposing his neck and arms that were almost filled with your love bites. You flushed at the memory of yesterday’s debauchery and decided to get up.
But before you could even do that, Lucas pinned you back on the bed. “Hey baby, morning,” he said in his trademark sultry voice. You gave him a weak smile, which he responded to with his awkward laughter.
“You were great last night,” he started, leaning closer to you, “and I mean it.” He eyed the marks you left him. “Uh, thanks? You were great too,” you replied, starting to relax in your current position.
He pecked you on the lips before he got up, revealing that he was already wearing his underwear. “Want to get breakfast?” He asked as he rummaged on the chair across the bed for his clothes.
“Sure thing, but let me wash up first.” You held the blanket around you as you stood up, now shy of your naked body.
“Okay, I’ll just be here,” Lucas winked at you as he slipped on his jeans.

Breakfast with Lucas didn’t feel anything special. It was like eating with a friend – he cracked a lot of jokes while you tried your best not to spit out your coffee from laughter.
He was a nice boy, but you know that he’s not the one for you. Blame it on the alcohol that you were able to do something you thought you would never do.
He pecked your cheek before you left his car. “Let me know if you want to hang out, okay? I’ve put my number in there,” he tapped at your phone, “and you can chat me up too.”
You nodded, bewildered that he was able to unlock your phone and put his number in your contacts. The boy might be more into you than you thought.
Even if it has already been a couple of hours since you two did it, you still have the post-sex pain.
You hobbled towards the door barefoot since you know you wouldn’t be able to walk in heels. As you fumbled for the keys in your bag, you heard footsteps approaching the door.
Johnny, who was in a baggy shirt and sweatpants, opened the door for you. “Hey, wouldn’t you look at that,” he said, leaning against the doorway. “Baby’s got a fun time last night, and we weren’t invited!” His sarcastic tone annoyed you, but at the same time, you also felt guilty.
You weren’t able to notify the guys that you were still at the venue of the party, in one of the rooms having your way with one of the most handsome men you’ve ever known. Aren’t all of your guy friends?
“Hey, I’m sorry,” you croaked. “I didn’t mean to not text or call you guys but…uh, things happened. And I didn’t expect that to happen. Not in a million years. I don’t know what came over me–––”
Johnny cut you off by pulling you into the house. “Stop blabbering and come inside,” he whispered, his hand still on your wrist as he dragged you to the sofa.
You followed him silently, and he even patted a spot on the couch for you to sit on. Once you were seated, he flicked your nose. “You deserve that for making us worry,” he said before taking a seat beside you.
“But I said I was sorry!” You grumbled, rubbing the spot he hit. “Please don’t do that again, Essie. Jaehyun and I were worried about you, but especially me.” With that, you turned around and saw that one of his best friends walked toward you with a cup of coffee.
“Looks like you need one,” he said as he handed the steaming cup to you. You thanked him and carefully took a sip. It tasted just the way you like it – with milk and two packets of sugar.
“Hey, you know my blend,” you gave an approving look at Jaehyun, who rubbed the back of his neck sheepishly. “Because I’ve observed you enough to know what you like,” he mumbled.
You could only look at the boys in shock. Jaehyun usually didn’t act this flustered, and Johnny’s concern was bordering on anger. You set the coffee on the table and explained yourself again, this time more confidently.
“I’m sorry that I wasn’t able to message or call you guys. I know you were concerned because I had too much to drink, and I was flirting with someone…” You softened your voice at the end, embarrassed of admitting that you had a rendezvous last night.
“Yes dear, you were with Lucas. The young sex god. You got pulled into his charms,” Johnny said dryly while rolling his eyes. “You were too weak to resist it,” Jaehyun piped in, folding his arms in disappointment.
“I didn’t expect that too, honest! But anyway, now I’m home safe and sound, I’m really sorry I made you guys worry. What can I do to make it up to you guys?” You pleaded, giving your best aegyo to appease them.
Both guys looked at each other, deep in thought on what you can do to make them forgive you. It took them a moment until both of them said the same thing.
“Be my assistant for the week.”
“Hey, I said it first!” Johnny grumbled, glaring at the guy standing beside him.
“No, I was the one who said it first!” Jaehyun rebutted, raising an eyebrow at his friend.
They bickered for a moment, and you shook your head at their immaturity.
“Well, I guess you two should settle that first. I’m going to take a long bath, and let me know who the winner is,” you said, standing up with the cup of coffee.
“Let’s settle this with rock-paper-scissors, so we know who the winner is now!” Johnny screeched, getting into a competitive stance. Jaehyun mirrored him, and you watched them play the most intense rock-paper-scissors game ever.
The taller guy won with paper against Jaehyun’s rock. The latter drooped his shoulders in defeat while Johnny pumped his fist in the air. “I win! Better prepare yourself, girl, I’m going to tire you out!” He said, pointing a finger at you for emphasis.
“Yeah, whatever. I’m going to rest for now,” you took a sip of your coffee before walking away from the two guys.
Sometimes, being surrounded by more guys makes things more complicated for you. All you ever wanted was to be with that one special guy, but life has to make things challenging for you.
