i have had enough DBD sadness. canonically, they cannot see themselves in mirrors, which means charles and edwin are constantly fixing each other’s hair, clothes, wiping dirt of each other’s faces. there is no other reasonable explanation for them both being so well kept.

I love that the too-small office couch features so prominently in so many Edwin × Charles fics.

BUT

I think it'd be funnier if Charles yanks a blow-up mattress and an entire bedding set out of his bag-of-tricks backpack to set up on the office floor for him and Edwin.

Bonus points if it's got a manual pump because he's had it since the 90s.

Already made a post about Charles not being the biggest fan of Monty but rewatching the show just makes it even more obvious like

Edwin might've been worried about Crystal but Charles looks like a kicked puppy seeing him go talk to Monty

Then Edwin's just acting super weird and so is Monty and Charles is taking it very well

And all of a sudden Monty is nice to Charles?? And Charles looks so smug like "everyone likes me eventually" and all (meanwhile Niko cannot be bothered, stay hydrated)

Also if he wanted to keep up the friendliness after Monty's been nice to him, maybe he could've not refused the case despite everyone else agreeing (even Edwin)

And then he's just thrilled everytime Monty and Edwin are together 👍

Wait hold up ghosts can feel things in Hell (I think?) so it's litteraly the first time Charles could actually feel Edwin when holding his face?

The Dead Boy Detectives and their board games:

In an interview with IndieWire it was mentioned that they had “every international version of Clue” and I had to take a closer look. Not only is it not exactly “international” versions, (considering that both Charles and Edwin are British, their national one would be Cluedo, so Clue does work as international in that sense), but the board games you see in the background are all vintage and from different decades!

I did not cover all the Clues, although they do have at least 8 of them in that closet. But their assortment of board games is quite interesting!
