Everything I want will not do anything for Tae. It will only continue this endless cycle of hate and nastiness within our fandom spaces. I really want to be that bitch, hiding behind my keyboard of anonymity throwing stones at anyone saying anything mean and vile, and straight up lying in the name of just pure black hearted-ness. But I won't. I think my love for Tae and, by extension, those he loves is far greater than that pearl of darkness that wants to grow.

I love his happy, shy smile when a member comments during his live. I love the way he makes grown men (and women) melt when he's around them. I love his absolute desire to throw himself into his present hobby, be it house decor, dog training, or language skills. I love his relationship with music and how he has always shared that with us. I love that he would bring the moon to his Jungkookie if only to help him achieve his dreams of performing there. I love the way he always becomes so small in his Jiminah's arms. I love his utter look of contentment and love when he is with his members, and they are all joyful. I love that he can bring me to my knees with just one smoldering look from his hypnotic eyes. And that he can drop yet again with a goofy face. I love the way he loves. I love, I love...

I'm not a writer or a poet, and I find myself wishing I was so much better with words to describe all the things I love about him. The list is endless. So maybe if I have the time, I'll make some regular/daily posts trying to express that.

I remember this day. This was a first for me. I admitted and joined ARMY just that April 2022 before the festa 🥺 Just a newbie, a certified Tae girlie. But I didn't join Twitter spaces until that fall. This was my first live experience with airport Tae, with seeing these pics hit the tl real time. His aura. His eyes. His stride. This was but a short moment captured so perfectly, and this gaze was forever imprinted upon me. You can't even see the full charm of his features. But his eyes, his eyes....

I'll always go back to this picture, and it will be a favorite of mine. I know these eyes have seen countless wonder and joy to go along with pain and struggling. And I'm grateful for every glimpse of them, both his eyes and his story, he shares with us.
