The brothers never heard MC cuss which lead them to wonder if they even knew atleast one swear word, they got their answer on a particularly chaotic day in the house of lamentation.

"GIVE ME BACK MY MONEY MAMMOOOON"leviathan yelled as he reached he's hand out to grab mammon but failed miserably as mammon fastened he's pace, he was the fastest brother after all. "FOR THE LAST TIME I DON'T HAVE IT YA GEEK"he spat as he ran down the stairs, the chase was never ending, besides the two elders causing havoc mc was talking to s4tan about the new book they were reading "I see, sorry to inform you MC but I've already read that one, but if you want I can recommend you a book?" "no it's fine I got some other stuff I wanna read,I just have this main goal to find a book that you haven't read yet" mc said half joking, s4tan chuckled " well I wish you luck for that MC tho I highly doubt you'll be able to achieve that goal using books that are in the Devildom, you should give human realm books a try instead" he replied smiling, MC nodded "that reminds me! Do you know Jane Eyre?" MC asked satan shook he's head raising a brow "no I haven't, what's it about?" "Oh it's amazing I actually have it in my bag I'll go get it" MC said excitedly rushing to their room, although before they even got the chance to leave the common room it happened so that in that same exact moment mammon was running to that room and bumped into MC, along with mammon so did Leviathan, MC fell backwards while the two demons fell onto their stomach "FFFFFUCKING HELL" MC yelled and the room went silent, mammon now wide eyed staring at MC along with Leviathan as if they've seen a ghost, satan in the corner mouth agape and asmodeus who happened to be in the same room painting he's nails gasping, beel dropped he's food from he's mouth and belphie who was asleep on the couch fell off staring at you "ARE YOU GONNA GET OFF OR DO YOU WANT ME TO DIE THE SECOND TIME?" They yelled at mammon kicking him off " A-a right sorry but uhh" "D..dd did you just swear?!-" levi managed to stutter out. "I think my organs moved places" belphie tried he's best to hold back he's laugh at that comment "MC DEAR OH NO HOW ARE YOU FEELING ARE YOU NAUSEOUS? DO YOU NEED AN AMBULANCE?" Asmo asked rushing to your side in a panic "nope. I think I'm alive for now but thanks" they wheezed out trying to regulate their breathing "what in the Devildom is going on in here?" Lucifer asked as he entered the room and after explaining everything and making sure your okay he returned to scolding mammon "ME? YOUR SCOLDING MEEE?! HOW WAS I SUPPOSED TO KNOW THEY WERE RIGHT THERE?? ALSO ARE WE GONNA IGNORE THE FACT THAT THEY CUSSED?!" "Now what are you talking about mammon?" "What? I just said fuck it's not a big dea- *GAAAAASP* "SEE THEY DID IT AGAIN" mammon yelled Lucifer shocked looked your way "why are all of you so surprised?? Just because I don't swear often doesn't mean I don't cuss jeez.." "waking up was so worth it" belphie said as he went back to sleep and beel tried to scrape the food off of the floor which he dropped earlier. Their Love Languages - The Brothers

A/N: Idk if this has been done before but I wanted to give my take on this. Recently I found out my love language is gift giving and it changed my perspective on myself a bit. You can take the same quiz I took here to find out what yours is! :)

Lucifer

Words of Affirmation. He's the avatar of pride, so it's very important to him that his partner vocalizes their feelings about him as long as they truly mean what they're saying. When he's alone with you after a long day of paperwork and trouble from his brothers, there's nothing more he wants than to hear you tell him that you love him and that he can finally relax. Quality Time with you is also very important to him- please share a seat on the piano bench with him and have a glass of expensive demonus while he plays for you.

Mammon

This one might seem obvious as well, but Mammon's love language is Gift Giving! He's held onto that Harrison Porter keychain you gave him up until the very moment he decided to give it back to you for a very special reason. It doesn't matter if he's broke or rich, his first thought when he's spending money is to spend some on you. He's always keeping his eyes peeled for something he thinks you'll like, and he's equally overjoyed whenever you bring him something that reminds you of him whether it's big or small, expensive or cheap. He'll treasure it forever.

Leviathan

Quality Time is Levi's primary love language with Words of Affirmation coming in at a close second. Levi is constantly holing himself up in his room and doubting himself, so he needs some good company and gentle reassurance that you love him just the way he is. He very much enjoys gaming with you, laying on the floor next to each other watching anime together, and on rare occasions, just talking with one another while staring at his giant fish tank. He likes just being near you, even more so when you tell him your honest feelings and it's just the two of you.

Satan

Quality Time is incredibly important to Satan, but so are Acts of Service. Going to cat cafes with you and spending time reading to you out of his favorite books while you're both in bed are just some of the ways he tells you he loves you. He also likes to take care of things for you- for example, taking notes for you without being asked when you're out sick from RAD, or helping you dice veggies when it's your turn to cook. He helps with chores and remembers the little things about you without having to be asked. And in turn, he would like it very much if he was the first one you came to if you needed help with anything.

Asmodeus

Physical Touch for sure. Asmo is touchy in general, but with you it means so much more to him. Throwing an arm around you or holding your hand means more than it does for anyone else. And somehow, when you run a hand through his hair or put it on the small of his back, it's different from anyone else who might have layed a hand on him before you. With you, it feels real. It feels warm, and right, and loving. He could spend hours cuddling you or painting your nails or being held by you. And despite how much he's always getting touchy with others, Asmo is actually quite touch starved and lonely deep down. So if you reciprocate his touch and hold him close, you'll have his entire heart in the palm of your hand.

Beelzebub

Beel's love languages are both Acts of Service and Gift Giving. Similar to Mammon, he's always on the lookout for things that remind him of you when out and about. But instead of jewelry, clothes, or trinkets, he likes to gift you food and snacks. He has all your favorite foods memorized and knows whether you'll want something sweet, salty, or savory whenever you go out. He also likes to take care of things for you and loves to help you out with things whenever he can. Can't reach a shelf? He's got it covered. Need someone to open a jar? He's right there and willing. Need some advice about something? He's listening attentively. It means the world to him that you would share your food or make something just for him.

Belphegor

Another one who's love language is Quality Time. If Belphie had it his way, he would spend his whole day curled up in your lap. Just being in the same room as you is comforting to him. That's to say, Physical Touch is also a very prominent love language of his. He appreciates when you run a hand through his hair and give him a scalp massage, and in turn he'll wrap his own arms around you and snuggle up like you're his favorite pillow. For you, he'll try his best to stay awake so he can spend time together doing things you both love. Or if it's a lazy day you want, he's more than happy to do just that!

Even if you ask him to leave you alone, he’s still just sitting in the next room over, waiting for any sign that you need him

If you want him to stay though, then he just smothers you with affection

He gives incredible hugs that completely hide you away from the rest of the world

And he’ll go on long monologues about how much you mean to him

Depending on your mood, the monologues can range from the serious kind that bare the deepest depths of his soul, to an abundance of bad metaphors to make you laugh

He’s not much of a cook, but he’ll take you to any of your favourite places to eat

And if you don’t really feel like being somewhere public, he knows a few very private, very cozy cafes

If you want to talk about your feelings, he’s an amazing listener

But if you’d rather be distracted, he has an endless supply of stories about his travels to tell you

He’s completely understanding of the fact that you won’t feel up to doing much some days, and he’s more than willing to pick up a little extra work

You cared for him in his darkest times; it would be hypocritical of him not to do the same

She decides that her number one priority is now to make you laugh

Claims that she’ll fistfight whatever is making you upset, even if it isn’t tangible

Even if you don’t really feel like doing much, she’ll still drag you around so you’re not just laying in bed all day

You won’t be doing anything difficult; just enough things so that you won’t feel even worse at the end of the day

This will include stuff like going for a short walk, watering the garden, and baking some cookies together!

Then it’s time to build a giant pillow fort and cuddle, because cuddles make everything better

She pulls out a joke book that you didn’t even know she had, and dedicates some time to finding the absolute worst jokes there are

There will also be several times throughout the day when Portia picks up Pepi and holds her in front of her so she can pretend that Pepi is speaking to you

Turns out Pepi is very creative with her swear words

Portia manages to keep her energy even higher than usual to keep the atmosphere light

You won’t even have a second to let the bad thoughts creep up

Starts by poking you in the face repeatedly while asked what’s wrong with you

When he finds out that you’re not doing so well mentally, he decides that’s completely unacceptable, and has to be fixed immediately

(Obviously mental health problems can’t be fixed in one day, but joke’s on you because he’ll give this 100% of his attention for years if need be)

Prepare to be pampered 24/7, because he’ll be finding every single professional whatever-you-call-people-who-provide-luxury-services to tend to your every need

Of course he’s also going to be joining in on all of this being pampered, because it’s Lucio

Emotions aren’t really his forté, so he’ll probably try to find a therapist for you to talk to as well

I mean, obviously he’ll listen if you want him too, but he wants to solve problems, not just hear about them, so he’ll probably give you some pretty bad advice

Also refuses to let you lay around all day

You don’t really have to do much in day to day life anyway, so he insists you have to enjoy yourself

Mostly this means forcing you to join him outside to play with Mercedes and Melchior

It’s a pretty fun way to pass time, so there’s not much to complain about

Lucio also constantly reminds you that you can get through anything, no matter how hard it is

He’ll compare you to all the the heroes in mythology, and then claim you’re even stronger

💚Muriel💚

If there’s one thing he understands, it’s poor mental health

He stays silent and picks up on it without you saying a word

He lets you do what you feel you need to do, and doesn’t interrupt

He’s still learning healthy coping mechanisms himself, so he doesn’t know how best to help you

Of course he takes care of you

He picks up on any of the chores you usually do, and lets you rest

Inanna stays behind to cuddle and give you kisses

Most of his support is silent; if you want to talk, he’ll listen, but if you want to stay silent, he’ll hold you close and just listen to the crackle of the fire

He does little things to remind you he cares, like bringing up small bouquets of wild flowers

Above all else, he just wants you to know that you’re not alone

Everything else goes right out the window when you reveal you’re not doing well

There are now absolutely no expectations, and you’ll get to recover at your own pace, just as one would with a physical ailment

If your mental illness is causing exhaustion, any trips are now postponed, because while they can be fun, they’re also incredibly draining

The exception may be Nepal, which is more of a vacation home than anything

But for the most part, you get to stay in the shop and around Vesuvia

The shop will be closed for a while to give you time to recuperate, and Asra time to care for you

If you want to stay in bed all day, that’s perfectly fine

Asra will bring you tea and snacks regularly

He also adores cuddling with you

If you’re struggling with stuff like bathing, guess what? Magic bath time! Practical and fun!

Faust is also your constant supporter

She follows you around, chanting “Good job! Proud of you!”

Off to therapy you go!

Nadia wants to be pick you constantly, but she also has to maintain Vesuvia (oh, the problems of a Countess)

She asks if you want to see a therapist of any kind to help you while she can’t be with you

If you say yes, great! Depending on what kind of therapist you’d like to see, she’ll find you the best

If not, that’s okay too

She just wants to make sure you don’t isolate yourself completely while she isn’t around

She constantly reminds you that you aren’t a burden, and your struggles are completely valid

When she has time off, she’ll spend all of it pampering you

If she thinks something will help even a little, you’re getting it

Sometimes she’ll commission entire gorgeous outfits for you just to convince you to walk around in the gardens to show it off

If you’re the kind of person who likes makeup or having your hair done, she’ll also spend lots of time helping you perfect new looks

But no matter what you choose, you’ll be beautiful inside and out to her

LUCIFER knows you’re mad at him. he can tell by the way you avoid his gaze, sigh whenever he makes a move to talk to you or blatantly ignoring everything he says. he knows you’re mad – but he’s too prideful to give in and apologise first. he thinks he would die on the hill he stands on.

after a few days, he gets lonely. the other side of the bed is cold. he has no one to make idle small talk with while he makes his tea – he starts to talk but falls silent when he realises that you’re probably talking to one of his brothers and he feels the twinge of jealousy within him and he has to remind himself he is not leviathan.

and yet, he still doesn’t apologise.

he doesn’t come to you instantly. lucifer gives you acts of love. he’d refill your drink at dinner without asking, bring some tea to your room when he knew you were studying, and if you were ever late coming home from school your room would be clean and whatever laundry you had folded and put away.

and when you still don’t falter, he comes to your room right before bed and utters such a small “i’m sorry”  that you can barely hear from his pride shattering.

MAMMON thinks this treatment would last a day, and you’d allow him to come crawling into your room at night and cuddle under the blankets like every other day. he gets annoyed when he finds your door locked. two can play at that game.

everyone can see the pettiness oozing off of you two at breakfast. refusing to look at each other, refusing to talk to each other.

“beel, tell them to pass the salt.”

“tell mammon he can get it himself, beel.”

it’s awful. leviathan’s tired of it after five minutes and he makes his complaints known. and yet, even after such a scolding from lucifer at the dinner table, he doesn’t fold.

he distracts himself at casinos. mammon doesn’t need you to be his lucky charm. he tries to convince himself he doesn’t need some human to keep him occupied and entertained. he climbs into bed that night, and he thinks he should be happy with his winnings… but he’s not. mammon feels empty.

who is he meant to share his happiness with, if not you?

mammon doesn’t care how late in the night it is when he barges into your room and breaks the lock in the process. he doesn’t care if you’re sleeping or half-awake wondering why the so called boyfriend you’re meant to be arguing with is in your room. he’ll take his rightful place next to you in your bed and throws an arm over you even if you protest.

“’m sorry, okay? don’t go ignore me again…”

LEVIATHAN doesn’t think it’s fair. yeah, maybe he was a little mean. maybe he messed up and instead of apologising like he should have now he was sat moping in his room feeling sorry for himself… but you looked so happy with his normie brothers and not him.

he wasn’t surprised really. of course someone like you, so out of his league, would chose anyone else over a disgusting otaku… and yet, his heart yearned. he wanted you to look at him again. play games with him again. kiss him whenever he won a match, or hold his hand and squeal together whenever something cute happened involving ruri-chan…

leviathan was lonely. he didn’t enjoy doing anything if you weren’t there. but you were so busy with his brothers - how could they? they knew you were his and they still stole your time from him! it just wasn't fair...

only when levi is utterly defeated from envy and loneliness does he knock on your door with the most crestfallen look on his face and all but collapses into you and wraps you up tight in his long arms.

"i'm sorry! i'm sorry! please don't ignore me again!"

SATAN won’t let it get to the point you’re ignoring each other for days. he knows if it lasts too long he’s going to hit a nerve and lose his composure, and he would do anything than show you that side of him. he prides himself on keeping himself well behaved.

when you blatantly ignore him to his face, he can feel his eyebrow twitch and annoyance coil within him. He keeps trying to talk to you, and when he feels the anger crawl up his skin he leaves to his room.

if you still insist on giving him the cold shoulder, he will corner you at RAD, or pulling you into an empty classroom and will make you talk to him and no, you can’t leave until this is resolved because he can’t put up with you ignoring him anymore.

“why are you doing this? do you not realise how antsy i feel when you’re not around? please, let’s solve this.”

ASMODEUS hides how he’s feeling well. he tries to not let it get to him – surely you will come around and stop ignoring him, right? he’s not going to beg for your attention… asmo knew he was better than that. and yet when he tells himself that it’s your loss when you ignore him, and not his, he knows there’s not a whole lot of truth to his words.

asmo tries to fulfil his time, hoping you would break first and come running back to him. He prides himself on being the one chased, not the chaser – but he misses the casual conversation you two have, the way you fix his smudged lipstick, and the way you two always seemed to be touching wherever you go. it could be a warm day in devildom, and yet he was just so cold without you.

he misses having you constantly give him attention.

you’re almost about to give in with the petty cold shoulder, but asmo cracks first. he knocks on your door, and throws himself into your arms and rambles on about how lonely he was.

“i’ve had enough of this! you missed me, right? good, because I missed you! let’s not do that again, okay?”

BEELZEBUB feels empty. his stomach is bottomless, and this irritating sad feeling he feels whenever you blank him feels endless. he doesn’t know what he’s done wrong, but he’ll do anything to fix it. plus, he doesn’t want belphie to know he’s sad…

he misses you when you’re sat across from him at breakfast, and don’t give him the newt legs like you usually do. he misses you when you don’t show up at his fangol games. he misses you when he doesn’t have anyone to share a bit of his food with, and he misses you when even belphie seems lonely when you don’t show up to their room.

after a day or so, he sets out to make it right. you had your alone time. it’s time to fix things. he stands outside your room door with a snack in hand.

“i want to eat this with you… so let’s make up.”

BELPHEGOR thinks it wouldn’t affect him. he can sleep it off until you’re ready to make up with him again, but when he tosses and turns in his bed, he’s almost baffled at himself. he really couldn’t sleep because of some human… and it annoys him. you didn't even act like this after everything he had done.

he tries to prove a point to nobody but himself. he feels so tired all the time and no much amount of sleep would fix that – and he knows it’s because you’re not with him. beel can feel it too, and only then does belphegor make a move to get your attention again when his twin gives him some encouraging words.

he walks into your room like he owns the place, flops on your bed and curls into your side like nothing is wrong. he even has the audacity to even bring his pillow too. and when you stare at him with a perplexed look, all he does is sigh.

“how long am I supposed meant to endure this? i miss you… sleep with me again.”

Whenever he’s out and about, Mammon can’t help but buy anything (and I mean anything) that reminds him of you

A keychain that of a sheep? bought it. A top he thinks you’d look good in? bought it. A plushie you glanced at for more than one second last time you were together? bought it. An ultra wide, flat screen tv? Well, it would be good for your joint movie nights…

Honestly, it’s not even just you that gets this treatment. Sometimes, when he’s feeling generous, (and needs to apologize for stealing their stuff) he may or may not pick up a new pillow for his youngest brother, or something from madame screams for Luke and Beel, and there was that new face mask Asmo was talking about…

The thing is, he never expects this behavior to be reciprocated. Sure his brothers appreciate it, but he can’t say he’s ever really received gifts from them any time of the year other than his birthday and holidays.

But when you walk into his room with a giddy smile holding a small gold box behind your back, practically jumping with excitement, he can’t hide the confusion on his face

You hand him the box, which he tentatively opens, revealing a small gold and leather charm bracelet, which he holds in his grasp like it was something so delicate and fragile, as if it were glass.

“I-I was walking through Majolish with Asmo and I saw this and… it made me think of you. You don’t have to wear it if you don’t like it! I can return it”, you start babbling on

You’re cut off by strong arms wrapping around you, his expression melting into one of pure adoration

He’s never taking it off, not even to shower

This becomes like second nature, both of you buying things for the other simply because you want to see those dorky smiles on each other’s faces

You had to talk him out of buying you a car. A CAR!!!
