did you know they say calculus is the language of God. did you know they tried to hold math up to infinity like a candle to the void. did you know statisticians plunged into the vastness of random chance and picked out patterns and equations and eight hundred ways to tell you how big your inevitable errors are and how far off those guesses at errors might be. math haters I can't sit with you anymore. human innovation is cradled in these ancient, methodical, desperate attempts at understanding what we are not designed to understand
people need to stop treating the "paraphilia" as a valid concept. in order for it to be a legitimate concept, you must presuppose that there is a natural, typical expression of sexual desire that paraphilias stand against in contrast. this presupposition completely ignores that what are considered "normal" expressions of sexual desire are entirely socially defined and violently enforced as part of the patriarchy. for example, the only reason that attraction to fat people is considered a paraphilia is because fatphobia dehumanizes fat people (especially fat women), thus making attraction to them taboo and worthy of ridicule. attraction to skinny people, on the other hand, is not considered a paraphilia because that's what the patriarchy has decided is "normal". stop giving credence to the patriarchy by accepting the pathologization of "deviant" sexuality at face value.
patch notes: you no longer feel guilt for actions and their consequences that were not your fault
I would never innovate. Reinventing the wheel gets a bad rap but it's actually a great way to spend a quiet Saturday night. i love to invent wheel. It's a fun, creatively stimulating activity, and what's more is at the end of it, you get a free a wheel. What I hate to do is invent the supercausal warp drive – too stressful! I do not wish to consider the moral and economic implications of bleeding edge technologies which could one day pave the road to mankind's destiny in the stars. Not my cup of tea. I would much rather spend a nice relaxing Saturday evening at home with a couple of close friends, just stay in and sit back on the couch and in between sips of arnold palmer someone muses "Say, what if there were to be a wheel?". And we nod and laugh and let loose a dispassionate "eureka" or two, no exclamation points necessary. And nobody's heart rate deviates from 60 beats per minute for the entire duration of the function. And when we say our goodbyes and head to bed at 7 PM sharp we can rest easy knowing that the future of extrasolar manned missions to distant worlds rests firmly off our shoulders. And as we drift off after a glass of warm milk, we look forward to our next little get together and dream up new ideas for Wheel.
