Please pay attention to this post because for the last 3 days, my country, Turkey has been burning.
There are 85 fires in 26 different places and 11 of them are still not contained! (Don't forget these are the officially recorded ones only.) Every second a new one erupts. Our government is not doing anything about this. There are not enough sources provided by our government to put out the fires! Villages and forests are burning down, people and animals are dying, life has stopped in Turkey.
THESE FIRES ARE ON PURPOSE! They are burning our country! The fires start simultaneously at certain areas: They are not naturally caused fires, they don't spread naturally!
⚠️The habitats of our people and animals are being destroyed. We are losing our people, animals, habitats. We are losing our breath, our trees. The fire is getting bigger. We need support. Spread it, let the world know!⚠️

folklore is such an important album to me because it put many of my dreams into a different perspective. I always tell people in real life that I feel as if I used to dream of delusive cityscapes, but now I only dream of cardigans and cabins. I'm an impulsive person and I change opinions on my dreams a lot, but I now know who I am because of the experiences surrounding folklore. I also really enjoyed the fictional aspects of folklore because it seemed like getting into a really good piece of literature. Getting to know the characters of Betty, James, Augustine, and Inez was the most fun experience I had listening to a body of work. The reason I wanted to post this is because of the anniversary of folklore.
I also want to share a photoshoot I did in honor of "the 1" year anniversary of folklore.

I keep seeing posts on here about people missing Taylor on tumblr. I just want to point something out. When I saw swifties on here were bullying each other & the whole doxing scandal I wanted to leave too. I really don't blame her. Also if we really want her back here, we need to reinvent the attitude we treat each other with. Taylor said it best

okay this is gonna sound really crazy, but I don't remember a Taylor album after speak now I didn't connect with almost instantly. like there truly is some kinda deep emotional connection to Taylor's music with me. She just knows how to make music that just- sets a spark in me.
i’m not sure if y’all have noticed this too but i feel like for a lot of people it’s been like “if you didn’t super connect with folklore then you really connect with evermore” and vice cersa “if you did connect with folklore a lot you don’t connect with evermore as much”
which is so interesting to me because they are sister albums but they still Hit so differently

everyone hating on bon iver's feature, complaining that he has a weird falsetto. kids, thats bon iver's sound lol its not a weird thing he's doing just for folklore/evermore. its his brand. taylor likes it? it makes the cut.

EXACTLY! otherwise it just sounds like another sad song with Taylor singing and playing piano. Like yes her parts alone are very pretty and I adore the melody, but Justin takes the song somewhere new and honestly it’s refreshing and awesome.

I'm with you. Speculating on something as deep and personal like sexuality is too invasive. The only persons sexuality you should be focusing on is your own.
I might catch hate for this but friendly reminder not to speculate, theorize, or make assumptions about Taylor Swift or anyone’s sexuality. Interpret songs however you like. Finding personal meaning in music is more than okay. Just don’t take it to the point where you are trying to make theories about a real persons sexuality because that is weird and gross. Thank you.

Brandon Bernard has just been killed by the federal government for a crime he committed at 18, he killed nobody & he's already served 22 years. His lawyers had also just petitioned to reopen the case having found evidence that was with held in the original trial, rendering it unconstitutional.
But nobody cared. Nobody listened. We were all so hopeful when the injection was delayed tonight, too. Like maybe in the 11th hour someone had heard, maybe they were rethinking it.
