Whenever a gay ship comes up and someone says "Can't they just be friends?" I think of how, when I started high school, all my friends who were the opposite sex vanished like mist. I was left with my best friend and that one friend only. If I tried to talk to my old male friends, theirs would laugh at them and mock them with "Stop flirting!".

So if there were a type of friendship we have to fight for the "just being friends" thing, it would be male-female friendships.
