The iliad really is like (I bore you for sorrow, nursed you for grief) (none of it was to be. lamenting it was my slow death) (I wish every last man on troyā€™s dusty plains was dead, and only you and I were left) (heā€™ll call me his grey-eyed girl again) (may I be dead and the earth heaped above me before i hear your cries as you are dragged away) (but youā€™re hurting, and I wonā€™t let you down) (I begin and end with you) (if you and I could only get out of this war alive and be immortal and ageless all the rest of our days) (it was glorious to see if you could keep from grieving all the pain) (he knew the fight was not going his way, but he tried to save his friends) (he prayed to apollo. the lord of bright distance.) (oh, if only the gods loved him as I do) (running in a dream. you canā€™t catch up and you canā€™t get away) (you and I have come to the grief we were born for) (achilles, etched in sunlight) (let us give in to grief, however briefly, in each otherā€™s arms) (do not lay my bones apart from yours) (and even if in hell the dead do not remember, even there I will remember my dear friend) (I will never return home) (he needed me to protect him) (iā€™m going now to find the man who destroyed my beloved) (but now to win glory) (it was all for nothing) (I loved him, and I killed him) (death is everywhere and in more shapes than we can count) (two fates sweep me on to my death) (let me not die ingloriously and without a struggle) (every moment might be our last. everything is more beautiful because we are doomed) (you will never be lovelier then you are now) (it is his own courage that kills him)Ā (come closer) (come back where you belong.) (dear heart) (beloved) ā€¦ā€¦and expected me to not go insaneĀ

itā€™s so jarring in the song puppeteer when we hear eurylochus without his signifying backup of the crew members; the eeriness we get with it and the fact that itā€™s the first sign of trouble: as well as the first time we really see eurylochus at a loss

You know what makes my blood boil?

When thereā€™s female reader for canon GAY characters and what makes it worse is that thereā€™s barley any male readers
