I am Bilal, displaced from Gaza, now living in Egypt with part of my family, while most of my family is still in Gaza. Leaving Gaza was not an easy decision, but it was the only option after 150 days of bombing and siege. Now that we are here, we feel that we have left a large part of our lives and hearts there.

Life here is not what we expected. Everything is expensive and difficult. We face endless challenges every day, whether in the cost of living or in trying to adapt to a new reality. Hello, unfortunately my previous account was deleted so I will retell my story, my name is Ahmed Al-Dani, I am 14 years old. I live in Gaza, where I was born amidst ongoing conflicts and wars. In 2008, while my mother was pregnant with me, a phosphorous bomb fell near our house, and I inhaled the toxic gas. This led to genetic deformities that affected the growth of my teeth and hair.

Throughout my life, my family has tried to find solutions to my health problems, and we have visited many doctors in Gaza. The treatment recommended by the nurses was dental implants, but each tooth costs about $1,000, which is beyond our means.

My treatment journey began, but the ongoing conflict has made things more difficult. My family and I have been displaced more than seven times in the past ten months, and we now live in the southern part of Gaza without work or income, relying only on savings that we hoped to use for my treatment.
