gonna put this behind a read more because i have no idea whether this is spoilers or not of course, but little theory i have so far about him

i have the feeling that maybe he's not fully human (or, well, tall man. have i said how much i love that "humans" are referred to as "tall men" here? anyway) that he's part monster or something. specifically a monster on top of the food chain - a dragon perhaps?

because he might just be a freak who wants to eat monsters - if that's the full reasoning i will support him still lmao - but he has such urge to try them, i wonder if there's more going on
