Based off of this post

My very first tav is a wizard rock gnome named Dee and for my very first run I fully intended to romance Astarion not knowing that Astarion's like apparently racist to gnomes/short races?? Also the fact that my girl is a self-taught self-proclaimed detective while Astarion loves to sow chaos and commit crimes just made me imagine them having a funny enemies to lovers trope.

And then 2 tadpoles and a few adventures together later:

By Act 3 she's just fully okay with the stealing, pickpocketing, and killing. Though she still does do her best to stay morally good and upright in most cases and keeping Astarion in check.

This is in response to @letters-from-dekarios 's response to my anon ask. I absolutely adore the way Gale is written in all of the responses and also really enjoyed the fics currently there so please do read them if you come across this little post of mine.

Wanted to try and make a wallpaper for my phone I hope I stay motivated and get to finish this. I don't do well with compositions :'D but for Gale I will persevere

I decided to plop down some colors to see how it would look - not particularly happy yet but maybe when I finish the lineart and colour for real then it would look nice? I also made the terrible mistake of merging my blending mode layers with my local colors because I wanted to save space, and now I don't know how to recreate these colors (T v T)

But please have this for now because I'm gonna let my brain rest from this piece for a bit oof
