i imagine og freddy being like “you guys get to be adults and i still have to be supervised when on patrol with the jl!!” and then old age au freddy is like “you guys have it good, my knees are still creaking in this form somehow. plus the fact that i am forced by the jl to watch over you bc they think you guys are kids is not helping!”

in this au, i imagine that mary and freddy were never informed of billy's death due to the inactivity of contact between billy and the other marvels every since he joined the regime.

billy joined the regime to protect them, but he got distant with them every since a big fight happened that revealed that they had different views of superman's "method" to protect the world.

i would think that the person who was supposed to inform mary and freddy was flash, but with being caught up with his thoughts and thinking about joining the resistance, he never got the chance.

this scene is superman trying to get mary to join the regime, since they are down a heavy hitter. he expresses "regret" about how he killed billy and that he never wanted to do it but it had to be done. mary, of course, is fucking pissed after processing what he said and that he killed her brother.

give me your ideas on what would happen next!! i also want freddy to found out, but i dont know if he would find out directly by mary or someone else
