I headcannon that Bayverse April only owns granny panties. Like she only gets the little cheap Hanes undies. Same goes for bras, not an ounce of spice in her collection. And they’re all either tan, black, or grey. No other color.

Vern almost got her an expensive set for her birthday before she met the boys (Yknow, to flirt with her) but he chickened out last minute and got her a gift card to Starbucks.

General bayverse headcanons part 2

Splinter

A very light sleeper

Anytime something happens in the lair, he knows

He knows so many of his son’s secrets but act as if he didn’t to protect their feelings

Like that one time he saw Leo flex in front of his mirror (he never did it again because ‘what if it was Raph or Mikey’)

Or that one time he went to ask Donnie a question and realized too late he was having some… alone time… and Donnie tried to play it off to save what was left of his dignity: “haha no I’m not doing anything, I’m fine, how can I help you?” but left a tab open

Let’s just say Splinter knows way more about his sons than he wish he did

He feels honored every time one of them, or hell, April or Casey, come to him for advice or just to vent

He’s jsut so happy to know they trust him

He loves watching movies with them

Doesn’t really understand pop culture but is thrilled when they take the time to explain it to him anyway

He keeps every single drawing Mikey ever made him, he has multiple boxes of them and he keeps his favorite in his room

It takes so much space, but they’re really important to him

Raph made him a really soft scarf that he wears every time they go to the surface (it reassures him)

He also has a sweater and a blanket, and he loves bragging about them: “Oh, this? Yes, my son made it for me :) Isn’t he talented :)”

He finds Donnie’s smarts both impressive and intimidating

Sometimes he’s scared he will never truly understand him or that he won’t have anything else to teach him

But then Donnie comes to him when he can’t sleep or had a nightmare, and he feels warm inside

He’s really scared for Leo

He has so much pressure on his shoulder and so many responsabilities, he’s terrified he will break someday

But Leo knows he can count on his family to support him if anything turns sour and is learning to open up (thanks to Splinter)

All in all, he’s the proudest dad there could be and definitely bragged and showed embarassing memories to April and Casey when they joined the mutants

His favorite animal is the canary

She’s the one to bring them snacks or useless trinkets they might like

Leo thinks it’s stupid and they should hoard that kind of things

(he does anyway)

She’s also the one to bring medical supplies to the lair when they’re getting short on them

She knows many people because of her job, and comes so often to the pharmacy that the people who work her eknow her and know to not ask too many questions

She doesn’t care about the sight of blood but the smell makes her sick

She still follows Splinter’s instruction when doing stitches and she took a few first aid courses with Casey

She’s the one who takes care of the biggest bugs of the lair

She’s also the one they all go to when they have an embarrassing question to ask (the kind of stuff you’re too embarrassed to ask one of your parents, no matter how close you are)

Doesn’t really listen to anyone, really

Except maybe Splinter from time to time

But like, if she wants to investigate something messy or dangerous, she won’t let anyone stop her

She won’t run straight into danger, she’s not stupid, but she’s not gonna back off just because it might be dangerous

“Okay, April, I’m sorry but you’ll have to sit this one out, it’s way too dangerous for a hum-” “She’s already inside”

 She’s brave like that <3

The best at Just Dance

Even beat Raph from time to time

She has a terrible singing voice tho and loves to scream-sing just because she knows it drives Leo crazy

Sometimes will get picked up by one of the boys and just acts as if nothing hapened and keep talking about whatever the conversation was while being carried around everywhere

Speaks 3 other languages to varying degrees of fluentness: Spanish (fluent), French (still learning but she’s getting there), Arabic (beginner)

She knows insults in a lot of other languages tho (you know, just in case ;) )

The only one who doesn’t pull pranks on Casey (she takes pity on him and he gives her kisses when she takes his side so win-win)

Her favorite animal is the fox

He’s so fed up with their sibling nonsense

He’s always in the middle of their fights and he’s tired of this

But he’s even more tired of being the victim of their endless pranks (especially Raph and Mikey)

The payback is worth it tho

Surprisingly good with kids

Especially troubled kids (he used to be one, so he knows what to say to help them)

Also really found of small animals

Unlike Mikey who talks to them as equals, Casey baby talks and it’s both adorable and kind of silly

He’s well known in most of the rescue centers of the city because he always brings in stray animals here

Also volunteer in some of them from time to time

He’s really conflicted because of all of the horrible things othe cops do  and he often wants to quit because of that

But if he leaves, he knows no one will try to make a change

He believes he can make things right and tries his best to callout his collegues when they say or do fucked up things

Also completely understand all the hate against cops, and don’t hesitate to let everyone know it’s justified when his colleagues try to play the victim

Despite his anger issues he tries to keep a level head when on the job

He wants to be a good cop, but being a good person is even more important (and almost got him fired multiple times, the only thing keeping him from that being his connection to Chief Vincent)

This is why he’s also doing his vigilante stuff at night

He knows that sometimes, the law won’t protect the most vulnerable people

But that doesn’t mean he shouldn’t

Once accidentally cut himself on the left with a piece of glass

He broke a glass jar, cleaned it up but forgot one little piece, and later stepped on it

It didn’t cut his foot, but he felt something under it and tried to get it off by rubbing his foot against his leg

Hence the stupid cut

Most of his scars aren’t really from his numerous fights, they’re just stupid injuries like that

His favorite animal is the cheetah

Q&A With my OC Charlotte!

AN: This is written in my OC Charlotte's POV (Paired with Leo) She has Ice powers that were given to her at a very young age, but didn't kick in until she was older.

Charlotte took a seat on the couch across from Goth, smoothing out her outfit as she did so. Goth pulled out a clipboard, and started with the questions.

How comfortable are you in your body? How do you feel about your height, weight, strength, and body type? How important is being attractive to you?

Charlotte sits up in her chair and crosses her legs.

"Well, I'd say I'm quite confident in my body. As a kid I felt insecure about my height, given the fact that I was always the tall girl, and I'm nearly six feet tall now, but as I got older I've learned to embrace it and turn my insecurities to confidence. As for my strength that's something I am kind of struggling with at the moment. I'm not what you would call strong, and I definitely don't hit as hard as my blue boyfriend. I know it's an unrealistic expectation but I would like to be able to challenge him at battle. At least a little bit."

"Being attractive can mean many things. But to answer the question physical attractiveness doesn't mean much to me. It really doesn't give any intel on who someone is as a person. It doesn't define them. Now spiritual attractiveness is something I care about a lot. Being a safe and sweet person is bound to make people more attracted to you, and not just in a romantic way, in a friendly way as well."

How do you feel about plastic/cosmetic surgery and procedures? Is it something you would have done or would do? Would you mind if others did it?

Charlotte gave a soft smile.

"I think cosmetic surgeries can be really beneficial to a person's confidence! Even thought it's not something I would consider doing, I wouldn't mind if anyone else did it at all."

How stable is your mental health? Have you been diagnosed with any mental illnesses or conditions? Do you have anything undiagnosed? Do you attend therapy?

"I would say my mental health is quite stable at the moment. I've never been diagnosed with any mental illnesses but as a kid I had a suspicion that I had anxiety. I don't attend therapy."

How meticulously do you look after your physical appearance? Do you spend a lot of time on hair, makeup, grooming, and clothing? Is there a particular reason why you do or don't?

Char chuckles and runs her fingers through her hair.

"I definitely spend a lot of time on my physical appearance and quite a bit of money as well. Although a reason is the fact that I am a reporter and I am on TV quite often, it's also quite therapeutic. Sometimes after a long day pampering myself is all I need to feel better."

How much do you value companionship? Do you constantly keep people around you, or do you prefer to be alone often? Do you have or desire many friends? Do you see every meeting as an opportunity to make a new friend?

The woman gave a soft smile.

"I definitely do value companionship, but I actually have quite a small circle. My only REAL friends are Raven, Abby, and Alexis. I am more on the introverted side so I don't spend a lot of time meeting new people, nor do I have the desire to. I'm perfectly fine with making acquaintances, but actually being friends takes quite a bit of time for me. "

How would you describe your childhood? How much has it impacted who you are now? Around what age did you start to mature and why? Do you wish to go back to your days as a child, or have you embraced adulthood?

Charlottes expression faded into a more serious one as she let out a deep sigh.

"My childhood was definitely more chaotic that I had wanted it to be. My mother died when I was young so I was adopted by a young couple. Once I changed my last name from Sanders to Richards, that's when everything felt real, and things started to make a lot more sense to me. But that's definitely not the moment I started maturing. When I was around 14 years old and I started gaining my ice abilities, that's when I truly started getting older than I should've. I stopped being a teenager because of this sudden change in my body and my main focus at the time was trying to find a way to either control, or completely reverse it but as you can see..."

She raises her right hand as an orb of ice calmly hovers above it.

"Things seem to have worked out pretty well. So with that being said no, I wouldn't go back to being a kid. Things are much more fun now."

She gave a smile and wink to her blue clad turtle as he walks through the living room to get to the dojo, and he winked right back at her.

Goth chuckled as she flipped to the next page of questions.

How intelligent are you overall? Are you smarter than the average person, or less than? Are you mostly self taught or did you gain your knowledge through school? Are you more street smart or book smart?

"I'd like to say I'm pretty intelligent, but not exactly in a scholarly way. I'm no smarter than the average person but I've been told many times that I see what most people often overlook. Although I did go to college, that's not what helped me gain my intelligence. I am definitely much more street smart than book smart. I know how the world works, but I don't know the details of it."

Which of the four seasons suit you best? Why?

Charlotte laughed at that question.

"Winter for sure. The calm atmosphere, the beautiful scenery, and the cold weather. It all suits me well."

Are you inclined to help others, or will you only do what benefits you? What made you that way, and has it ever inconvenienced you?

"I am definitely inclined to helping people, it's all I've ever wanted to do. It doesn't matter if it benefits me, I'd just be happy I helped someone else. Nothing really made me this way...I suppose I got it from my mother. She's always been the first one in line when it came to helping someone in need so I guess that trait got passed down to me as well. It has inconvenienced me a bit, but only in minor ways. For example, a few weeks ago I gave a homeless person some cash and ten minutes later I saw them inside of some corner store buying cigarettes with my twenty. Other than that, things have been going pretty well with my current methods."

Do you desire romance? Is it something you would actively seek out, or would prefer to happen more naturally? What is your love life like? Do you have any exes or past flings?

"At first, romance was something I had absolutely no interest in. It wasn't something I thought was worth my time or worth the energy of trying to find. But then I met Leo and he changed all of my views rather quickly. I still believe romance is something you shouldn't seek out though, you should just be patient and wait for the right person to come to you. My love life is amazing. I have a wonderful boyfriend and a healthy relationship. I couldn't possibly ask for more. As for exes and past flings, I only have two previous exes. My first boyfriend who I was with when I was fifteen moved out of state. As for the most recent ex, we both realized that we just weren't compatible. We were very different people with very different views and we argued way too much for our well being. The best decision was to split and that benefited both of us a lot. He's  happily married with two kids and I'm living my best life with my fearless leader."

How are you typically seen by others? Is it similar to how you really are? Does your reputation matter to you?

"From what I've been told, I come off as friendly, determined, and a bit intimidating. I can be really authoritative at times as well. That's definitely not far off from how I actually am, and I like to think I make a positive impression whenever I meet someone new. My reputation matters to me a lot, considering a lot of people in the city are somewhat familiar with me I'd like to think that I am reliable person in their eyes."

Do you have any unusual habits, interests, or talents? Do you hide it, or are you proud of it?

"I'd definitely say my ice abilities are my best and most impressive talent that I have. I am very proud of how well I can control my abilities, but I have to hide them to protect myself and the people in my inner circle."

What kind of diet do you have? Do you eat regularly, or that standard 2-3 meals a day? Do you have to be reminded to eat or do you remind others? Do you cook or have others cook for you? Do you eat healthily, or not so much?

"My diet mostly runs on store bought salads, veggie pizza, and sushi. To be completely honest I don't eat very often, sometimes I only eat one time a day because I get caught up in other things, so my friends and boyfriend have to constantly remind me to eat something so I don't faint. I am most likely the worst cook in New York, so I always buy food. I try to eat as healthy as I can, but I normally fail miserably and end up eating junk instead."

How important is your hometown to you? Are you proud of it, or considered a hometown hero? Do you ever think you might want to move away?

"Manhattan is the only place I'd ever want to be, I'm super proud of it. Although I'm not considered a hero, I do enjoy the fact that when I'm walking down the street, some people know my name or come up to greet me, it's pretty endearing. I'll never want to move away, my entire life is here. I could never leave everything I've built, and all the friends I've made here, it would crush me."
