I assume the comic is saying Alastor being old fashioned would probably know that, and assume that’s what Vox meant.

I swear I was going for a sweet and cute story, but after knowing what it means to give a pocket watch, the angst just hit me like a train. Sorry if the ending is a bit ambiguous, I'm not sure how to convey this kind of concept. I've changed the last few lines so many times to get the feel right, but I'm still not sure. (I actually confused the hell out of myself when I was doing the last page.)
